  ### 4. Reviewing ThinkUp! -G2

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2022

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

I love the way the lessons are organized with rigor and activities. I appreciate each feature, especially suggested activities to help with tiered lessons. I do not know.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

I do not dislike any area of Think Up; there are no missing areas of need. All parts are working to meet our needs. I do not see a need for improvement. I do not see a need to improve.

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I solve the problems needed by my students. Yes, we are benefitting financially. Yes, I'm very productive.

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review! We're so glad to hear that ThinkUp! is providing rigorous activities for your students and meeting your instructional needs. ### 5. Think Up! is a great resource for teachers.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenni B. | Instructional Coach, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2021

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

I love the gradual release model that Think Up! uses for lessons. I also love how the rigor of the questions matches the rigor of STAAR.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

I don't have any complaints about the curriculum at this time.

**Recommendations to others considering ThinkUp!:**

If you are looking for a resource to extend your learning in the classroom that is engaging while exposing students to STAAR-like questions, this is the best resource I've encountered!

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our district doesn't have a true Math curriculum, so this solved our problem of exposing students to rigorous, STAAR-like questions on each TEKS they are responsible for learning.

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review Jenni! We're so glad to hear ThinkUp! has been providing rigor and preparing your students for STAAR. Your feedback is very important to us as we are always looking for ways to improve user experience. If you have any additional feedback you would like to share, please feel free to email me at annalise@mentoringminds.com. We would love to hear from you! 😊

  ### 6. ThinkUp Glows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lori R. | Curriculum Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

Utilizing ThinkUp has been very beneficial for students in that it has various components to ensure that the student understands the concept. It presents the notes, text, and remediation.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

At this time I believe ThinkUp is meeting all my needs but I would love to see Social Studies added to the curriculum. I know that teachers would find this very valuable.

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think using ThinkUp has ensured that I look at all the components of ELAR which is a robust subject. It takes the student through the whole process of reading and writing.

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review, Lori. We're excited to hear that ThinkUp! has supported ELAR instruction and learning for your classroom. 😊 Your feedback is very important to us as we are always looking for ways to improve user experience. If you have any additional feedback you would like to share, please feel free to email me at annalise@mentoringminds.com. We would love to hear from you!

  ### 7. The curriculum in these workbooks is challenging which creates learning.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Terry B. | Curriculum, Instruction and Grants Management Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2022

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

Once again, I like that the material is challenging for the students and not just something they can complete without "thinking". It is well written and on TEKS.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

As an old math teacher, I wasn't always happy with the order of presentation but that was easily remedied by moving around in the workbooks.

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an administrator, Mentoring Minds has always been a great company to business with. The sales staff is helpful and the materials always arrive ahead of time and in good condition.

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review Terry! We're so glad to hear that ThinkUp! has provided challenges for your students, and that we've been helpful during your purchasing. 😊 Your feedback is very important to us as we are always looking for ways to improve user experience. If you have any additional feedback, please feel free to email me at annalise@mentoringminds.com.

  ### 8. Comprehensive and Rigrous

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenna H. | Instructional Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2022

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

I like the no prep options. The workbooks are great for teachers and don't require any copies to be made. The ELAR/SLAR offer great rigorous, STAAR aligned prep.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

The online aspect is tricky to use. We have had several teachers struggle with it even after trying the online help option.

**Recommendations to others considering ThinkUp!:**

Online portion is not friendly

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Again the low prep option for teachers is great, especially when they are so busy already. It really helps take the guess work out of thinking of higher order DOK.

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review, Jenna! We're so glad to hear that ThinkUp! has been an easy no-prep option for you and your class. Your feedback is very important to us as we are always looking for ways to improve user experience. The stories are rigorous and aligned to the TEKS for our State.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

I wish there were an online component to the program.

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Think Up provides us with the additional resources we need outside of our curriculum. to meet the needs of our student's learning loss.

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you so much for our review, Monica! We're excited to hear that ThinkUp! provides rigor and TEKS alignment for your classroom. ### 11. Fifth Grade Math

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2022

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

I have been using Think Up and mentoring minds for years. It helps my kids have the extra edge above and beyond STAAR.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

I would like more online quick checks to be self checking.

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our school had adopted text books that were basically skill drill. I used Think Up as the basis for indpendent work after we worked intro pages together. My scores are 50% plus mastery when utilizing Think Up.

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review! We're so pleased to hear that ThinkUp! has been a useful resource for you and your students. Your feedback is important, so if you have anything additional to share, please feel free to email me at annalise@mentoringminds.com. 😊

  ### 12. Great Resource!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy K. | 7th Grade Math Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2022

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

Multiple questions types and rigorous problems.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

The paper used in the books. They tear very easily and are hard to erase.

**Recommendations to others considering ThinkUp!:**

This is a great resource for all learners. You can use it with struggling students to teach problem-solving strategies or with advanced students to encourage higher-level thinking.

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed more opportunities for my students to solve word problems and this book gives them plenty. I also have used many of the activities in the teacher guide.

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review, Amy! We're so glad to hear that ThinkUp! has provided plenty of word problems for your students. 😊 Your feedback is very important to us as we are always looking for ways to improve user experience. ### 13. Awesome Resource!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** STEPHANIE S. | Math/Science Instructional Coach, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2021

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

Our teachers have really enjoyed the Concept Exploration section of each unit. This has helped provide an outstanding tool for concept introductions and small group review. They have also enjoyed using the Motivation Station during small group/station time. It is a built in station/review activity with high - quality rigor and reinforcement.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

Some of the Vocabulary Mastery pages are a little complicated. I also wish that the Math Challenge took up more space and that the Reflection of Learning was smaller. The Math Challenges are excellent for rigorous enrichment, but including more would be even better!

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Think Up! is an excellent tool for STAAR formatted practice and rigorous instruction. We have seen lots of growth in student justification of answers and concept understanding.

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review, Stephanie. We're super excited to hear Concept Exploration and Motivation Station have been helpful tools, and that you've seen growth with your students. Your feedback is very important to us as we are always looking for ways to improve user experience. If you have any additional feedback you would like to share, please feel free to email me at annalise@mentoringminds.com. We would love to hear from you! 😊

  ### 14. My 4th and 5th grade math students love Think Up!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Teresa D. | Teacher - Gifted Intervention Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

My favorite thing about Think Up! math is that the questions require critical thinking in order to find solutions. I love to hear the "math talk" as students work through problems together.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

There is no online access to the teacher or student text books. This has caused a challenge with students who have been out of school for 5-10 days this year.

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My classes are mainly gifted and high-achieving math students. They are used to math questions being very easy for them. The Think Up! problems demand critical thinking and multi-step problem solving, which is a new world for many of these students. When I see these students in a state of "productive struggle" I know I am meeting their learning needs.

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review Teresa! We're super excited to hear that ThinkUp! has supported math talk and productive struggle with your students. 🤩

  ### 17. THINK UP IS A MUST HAVE!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shelly D. | 3rd grade teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

I LOVE the rigor of the word problems. I also love the build up of the stamina. It allows multiple opportunities for various discussions and activities in class.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

The font seems much smaller than the past version! While I am sure it doesn't bother the kids, I enjoy the old Mentoring Minds version better.

**Recommendations to others considering ThinkUp!:**

CHALLENGE YOUR KIDS!!! They are more than capable and ThinkUp proves that. It forces us to raise the bar higher and encourage our kids to strive to do better.

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ThinkUp is an excellent resource for providing rigorous word problems for every TEK for my 3rd graders. Often, materials are too "watered down" or simple. These force my kids to think critically and therefore become stronger students overall.

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review, Shelly. We're so pleased to hear that ThinkUp! is providing discussion opportunities and challenges for your students! Your feedback is very important to us as we are always looking for ways to improve user experience. If you have any additional feedback you would like to share, please feel free to email me at annalise@mentoringminds.com. We would love to hear from you!

  ### 18. Great resource with rigorous content

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2022

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

Think Up provides in-depth material to encourage critical thinking at all stages of the lesson cycle.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

This resource is complex for lower-level students. The questioning is very rigorous to the point of modifying for many students.

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our district initially purchased for our students in tutoring groups. We realized it was going too difficult. We chose to use it whole group with all students to improve overall knowledge and critical thinking skills.

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review. We're glad to her that ThinkUp! has helped develop critical thinking skills with your students! 😊 Your feedback is very important to us as we are always looking for ways to improve user experience. If you have any additional feedback, please feel free to email me at annalise@mentoringminds.com.

  ### 19. Rigorous!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2022

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

I like the quality questions and level of questioning; even higher-level students are challenged. Online access is beneficial for students who miss school and need access to materials.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

I wish there was a companion book for students who need more scaffolding. It would be nice to have more hands on materials with the program like vocabulary cards.

**Recommendations to others considering ThinkUp!:**

If you are looking to allow your studnets to push their thinking, then Think Up! is awesome. The workbook has everything students need.

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Think Up! is a rigorous adoption. It provides real-world examples that students can relate to. I feel that we touch on most process and all content TEKS.

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review! We're so glad to hear that ThinkUp! has provided rigorous content to challenge your students. Your feedback is very important to us as we are always looking for ways to improve user experience. If you have any additional feedback, please feel free to email me at annalise@mentoringminds.com. 😊

  ### 20. The level of engagement and asking to think deeper is just what I am looking for in my instruction.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leslie H. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2021

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

In my opinion, the layout and organization of the program are ideal for planning. I have been using the concept development and concept checks most often in my classroom.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

I would rather have the digital components as in the past, the pdf with i-Ready is not the same. Collecting the data is not the same as well. I would like to see improvements in the MTM data collection based on questions and activities.

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N/A

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review, Leslie! We're thrilled to hear that ThinkUp! has worked well for your planning and provided helpful activities for your students. Through our partnership with Curriculum Associates, we're working through the best way to provide ThinkUp! in a digital environment. It unfortunately takes time, but we are working on integrating ThinkUp! more deeply in the coming school year(s)! We hope that future iteration will provide more of what you are looking for.
Your feedback is very important to us. If you have any additional feedback you would like to share, please feel free to email me at annalise@mentoringminds.com. We would love to hear from you! 😊

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2022

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

I like that we have a variety of activities to do with our students. There are different approaches to help them understand the skill.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

In the Science teacher edition, I would like to have an explanation on every question, not only on the concept practice questions.

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am helping my students close the gap due to the pandemic.

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review! We're so glad to hear that ThinkUp! has helped students close pandemic gaps. Your feedback is important, so if you have anything additional to share, please feel free to email me at annalise@mentoringminds.com. 😊

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2022

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

I like the TEK alignment the best. It helps so much with targeting skills.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

If I was using Think Up! It is not enough for the whole group to need more "at-bats" and practice to show mastery.

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Really helps solve the gaps in learning from Covid, and the benefits include being able to engage them in different ways.

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review! We're so glad to hear that ThinkUp! has been helpful in addressing learning gaps. Your feedback is very important to us as we are always looking for ways to improve user experience. ### 23. Thankful they have paired with iREADY.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa S. | Reading Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

In reading on my campus, we have purchased the iREADY feature of ThinkUp! for some of our House Bill 4545 kids. I think it is an excellent tool for HB4545.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

The ThinkUp! materials were not exactly what I was looking for with HB4545. I also wish you didn't have to purchase 10 accounts with each buy. When I get a new student, I would like to add 1 more account.

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HB4545

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review, Lisa! We're so glad to hear that ThinkUp! and i-Ready have been a tool to support HB4545. Your feedback is very important to us as we are always looking for ways to improve user experience. ### 24. Top Tool in our Toolbox

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2022

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

The teacher manual that ThinkUp offers is such a powerful tool to support teachers in the understanding of what students should learn.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

The questions are great high-level questions. It would be beneficial to add more scaffolding guided practice into the resource.

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The intervention page for teachers has excellent small group lessons. Often teachers have used all their "tools" and struggle with small groups. Great resource!

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

  ### 25. 5th Grade Science Think-up

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah L. | 5th grade Science teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2021

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

All questions are tied to TEKS and are written like STAAR test questions. There are a variety of questions and great activities. It is a good supplemental resource.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

Last year, we purchased the online format of the Think-up but it was very difficult to use. You had to enter each students name into the roster and create a username and password for them. That is not ideal for a teacher who only teaches science to the entire grade level of 65+ students.

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We using Think-up for STAAR question Practice and practice using testing strategies with the questions. It also allows me to see what I need to review with students.

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review, Sarah. We're pleased to head that ThinkUp! is providing STAAR like questions for your classroom. Through our partnership with Curriculum Associates, we are making updates to the digital experience of ThinkUp! that should eliminate the need to individually enter students. 😊
Your feedback is very important to us as we are always looking for ways to improve user experience. If you have any additional feedback you would like to share, please feel free to email me at annalise@mentoringminds.com. We would love to hear from you!

  ### 26. Great for higher order questions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

I like the rigor of the questions. They are not basic. Oftentimes, they are at STAAR level rigor. I like the way everything is set up by SE, especially when SE's have multiple strands such as 5.3K (Math).

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

The only part I dislike is the instructional part. It's presented well, but we use the resource more for the excellent questions than for coaching or teaching. I would really like to see tiered or differentiated questions.

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the problem of how to prepare for STAAR without overlooking options. We are more productive as teachers when we can spend time teaching rather than running around looking for materials.

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review! We're pleased to hear ThinkUp!'s rigor has been helpful in your classroom. Your feedback is very important to us as we are always looking for ways to improve user experience. If you have any additional feedback you would like to share, please feel free to email me at annalise@mentoringminds.com. We would love to hear from you!

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2021

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

I like the Vocabulary Mastery activities at the beginning of each unit. Currently I am using them as part of the Accelerated Instruction I provide my students.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

There's really nothing that I dislike. Sometimes I have to break up an assignment when it covers several different topics within a TEK, for example 7.5C, but that is not a big deal.

**Recommendations to others considering ThinkUp!:**

I highly recommend ThinkUp! to ensure that students are receiving TEKS-based instruction and practice.

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ThinkUp! helps me be sure that I am providing TEKS-based practice to my students that will prepare them for the kinds of questions they could see on the STAAR math test.

  ### 31. Think Up! helps me prepare my students with rigorous word problems

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2021

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

I really like the variety of word problems in the Think Up book. My students are able to see problems in several different ways and I don't have to search lots of materials to find them.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

The thing I like least about using Think Up is the lack of workspace on each page. The kids often don't have enough room to actually do the math on the same sheet and that can be frustrating.

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like having something for every TEKS in one place. I do not have to buy several different materials when everything I need is right there.

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review! We're so pleased to hear that ThinkUp! has everything you need in once place. Your feedback is very important to us as we are always looking for ways to improve user experience. I enjoy the availability of the questions that I can pull from to create assignments and assessments.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

Sometimes, I wish the questions were slightly more aligned to STAAR released questions.

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are enjoying the rigor of the program and the extension activities that are provided.

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review! We're pleased to hear you're enjoying the rigor and extension activities. They are filling gaps from COVID in a small group; students are not overwhelmed because the topics are fun, engaging, and easy to complete in one session.

We're so glad ThinkUp! has provided helpful activities to fill COVID gaps. 😊 The full book does include a comprehensive list of TEKS in the Table of Contents to help identify what unit you need. **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

Rigor! The rigor level of the think up material really alligns well with the STAAR so I know that if my students can solve the problems in think up they will be fine on the STAAR test!

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

The online component really needs to be better. I wish there were a feature that made the assignments easily accessible and gradable through Google classroom without using outside resources.

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think that Think Up is the only resource where the questions are rigorous enough to feel like students have complete mastery of any given concept and the various math TEKS

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review! We're pleased to hear that ThinkUp! has been providing rigor for your students and helping them with STAAR. **What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

The teachers like it a lot at our campus. It's rigorous and our scholars always do very well on STAAR using the materials. It has lessons by TEK, station activities, and is well laid out. Think Up really prepares them.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

The online version has leveled activities. The only bad thing is right now students don't have access to do it online but the teachers can print what they want to use.

**Recommendations to others considering ThinkUp!:**

None at this time

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a very complete online lesson activity base for teachers.

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

  ### 39. Wonderful program!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

I like the fact that it has lessons built into it. I can use these when teaching a concept and then have students complete work to show their own knowledge.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

That when linking to google classroom it does not make a copy of the worksheet for each student. I have to download it first then set it up in classroom.

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems I am solving is having the children think on a higher level. This benefits their higher order thinking skills and in turn helps them on test.

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review! We're super excited to hear that ThinkUp! is helping your students think on a higher level. 🤓 Your feedback is very important to us as we are always looking for ways to improve user experience. ### 40. Great program for struggling learners!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

I like the different activities that are included and that it is broken up by TEKS. I love the game within each lesson, and the assessment questions are fantastic for making sure the concepts have been mastered!

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

Some of the questions are beyond the state testing level and need to be taken down a notch. I think that the concepts are great but need some revisiting.I would love to see some of these redone to make them 8th-grade state tested level

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Struggling learners are getting a second chance at different questions than those used in their regular on-level math class. It makes it so simple to tell students to log in and look at these questions to help them better understand the concept!

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review! We're glad to hear that ThinkUp! has provided helpful activities for your classroom. Your feedback is very important to us as we are always looking for ways to improve user experience. **Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2022

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

Great vocabulary and really makes children think about the content.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

There are too many pages in each lesson for my taste. I usually end up skipping the pages just before the assessment. There is just too much to cover.

The way the lessons/questions are worded really helps the children dive deeper into the standard for the lesson. It has helped our school improve test scores.

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

The alignment with TEKS and the fact is "wasn't easy' for the students!

**Recommendations to others considering ThinkUp!:**

Good questions....just iron out registration process for the online part.

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Again high order thinking questions were good for our students to see. Benefits, everything isn't easy, may have to work at it!

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review. We're glad to hear that ThinkUp! has been a challenging TEKS-aligned resource for your students! **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2021

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

The format is easy to follow for each lesson. I like the extension and intervention sections. We use the print copy only this year. Think Up is more rigorous than other programs we have used or reviewed. I cannot upload me being logged in to Think-Up since I am using the print copy.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

I would like to be able to have a print copy of the preassessment and diagnostic test. I would like to be able to purchase the digital teacher edition without going through Iready.

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Low student scores on STAAR and students using higher-order thinking skills. Student STAAR scores were up last year after we utilized Think Up.

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

  ### 47. Best Product for Teaching Math!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

Great resource with everything you need! It shows you what they should already know from previous grade levels and everything you need to plan including interventions and extensions.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

Some typos in the answer key for 6th grade. All of the typos for the 5th grade Teacher's Edition were fixed after the first year, except for 1 and I let the 1-800 number know.

**Recommendations to others considering ThinkUp!:**

Use it!

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was new to 6th grade math this year and my first go to was Think Up. It has been a lifesaver because it is user friendly. It doesn't try to skip concrete models for Teks new to the grade level- love it!

  ### 48. Great Product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

It is aligned with the TEKS and easy to follow and understand. Some lessons allow for students to think deeply about the materials, and all students can benefit. This is a great product.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

Sometimes the materials are challenging for all students, but there is room to modify and make them usable for all students. I wish there were different levels for each lesson to meet all students at their ability level.

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work will all students on my campus, so this program allows me to easily find materials that all students are already familiar with using because their teachers are already using it.

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review! We're glad to hear that ThinkUp! has allowed your students to think deeply! Your feedback is very important to us as we are always looking for ways to improve user experience. ### 49. We didn't get what we se were sold!

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Airemy C. | Executive Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2021

**What do you like best about ThinkUp!?**

The teacher editions are the best piece, we use the hands-on lessons more than anything.

**What do you dislike about ThinkUp!?**

We were told we were getting a digital platform that would help us with formative assessments and we did not get anything that is useful to us on the digital side.

**Recommendations to others considering ThinkUp!:**

None

**What problems is ThinkUp! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have an option for practice work, and some good hands-on, engaging lessons, but we already had that.

**Official Response from Annalise Hartley:**

> Thank you for your review, Airemy. We're so glad the hands-on lessons and Teacher Editions have been helpful. We're sorry about your experience and disruption with the platform. As you likely know, this summer’s acquisition by Curriculum Associates meant that we had to sunset our proprietary platform that you purchased in the spring. With that decision, we have tried to provide options to our customers to create the best solution possible for each campus this school year, whether that was a refund or a substitute i-Ready product—and Standards Mastery is a great fit for formative assessment! Is that something your campus considered?

Please feel free to email me at annalise@mentoringminds.com with any additional feedback or questions you may have. We want to help! 😊
