The advanced search and retrieval functionality. For housing organisations like ourself that handle high volumes of email communication with tenants, landlords, contractors, and other stakeholders, being able to quickly locate specific emails or entire conversation histories is invaluable. Cryoserver’s search tool allows users to find emails by keyword, sender, recipient, date, and more, all within seconds—even across vast archives.
This feature saves substantial time for teams who often need to refer back to previous communications for tenant inquiries, compliance checks, or legal requirements. Instead of sifting through individual inboxes, the team can retrieve information instantly, which not only improves productivity but also helps maintain a higher level of service and responsiveness Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The user interface could do with some modern refinement.
It's not difficult to use. it's just lacking in the style department. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have been using CryoServer for more than 7 years. Initially, we used physical servers running Windows Server, but at this point, Ubuntu Linux is fully virtualized. We had no problems at our Disaster Recovery Sites or Head Office during the relocation, which was incredibly simple. It's amazing how well the two sites replicate. The integration mail server is very straightforward steps and not complex at all.
Because it is a web interface, the product is very simple to use and fast and dependable from the user's point of view. The user can easily search through and download his old emails to a PST, and the download capability has been improved over time.
The service provided by Cryoserver is among the best I've found. Every engineer I have dealt with is extremely knowledgeable and quickly handles any issues or requests.

Cryoserver has proved to be an invaluable resource on more than one occasion and is leaps and bounds ahead of the search facility in 365 both from a performance and functionality standpoint.
Easy to implement with comprehensive documentation and good customer support, provides rapid and secure mail retrieval even with hundreds of thousands of email on the backend. Comprehensive search criteria & mail retrieval options. Reliable and easy to use with traceable history and full transparency to other admins using the data guardian feature.
Simple, self explanatory & uncluttered interface is easy to use and the ability to add users with granular access control allows for delegation without sacrificing security.
Quick and helpful customer support via email, although we've rarely needed to use it outside of assistance with configuration changes as it just works, and from memory, we've had no notable downtime over the course of nearly a decade.

The GUI is complex. Perfect for power-Admins, but I You only log-in a few time per year, its hughe. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Cryoserver is simple for our users to find mail in their archives or for an Administrator to look at a business as a whole. Reasonably straightforward to impliment it just does its job. It was always a major headache hunting for an email if a user had left the business and no longer has an archive or similar, this makes finding things a breeze and means that no longer do I have users burdoned with large unmanageable mailboxes dating back years and full of folders. We employ the cloud based solution, it meets GDPR standards and servers are based in the EU. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes integration into Outlook can be a pain, however we now simply link from our intranet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It has an easy to navigate interface and the search and retrieval functionality is easy to use and not forgetting the exceptional customer support service from Robin, Merlin and generally the whole Cryoserver team. I have never experienced that kind of support and it’s clear that Cryoserver genuinely cares about ensuring customer satisfaction and we are indeed satisfied. Developing a cloud hosted solution suitable for securely supporting the email archiving needs of multiple Organisations, ranging from a few to hundreds of mailboxes was completed in short order. The level of support from the team was exceptional during the design, deployment and post-implementation phases providing our internal engineering team with an excellent basis to operate and extend the platform going forward.
The breadth of product features/settings provides scope to cater for almost any client need (explicit and implied) with granulatity of access control a pleasure to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
