What do you like best about Crunchbase?

I like how it brings everything together in one place like company details, funding insights, or key industry trends. It’s super intuitive and saves so much time when you’re trying to gather reliable information quickly. Plus, the way it visualizes data makes it easier to spot patterns or make connections you might have missed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crunchbase?

Navigating through some sections can feel a bit clunky at times, especially when you're looking for very specific information. Also, while it's great for bigger companies, the data on smaller or newer businesses can sometimes be incomplete. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a long term user of the platform, I found crunchbase to be a very good source of information for my work.

It gives me a macro view of all companies I want to look at for research for my company and I am alsp able to look at the scale of those companies on close inspection on the platform.

I recommend it to everyone looking to figure out their market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Crunchbase?

It's an easy way to do a quick scan of a company, investor or person. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crunchbase?

The data is only as good as the last time it was updated and you can never be quite sure when that was. So many details might be missing. It would seem easy enough to pull data from the likes of Companies House and do more with the many data sources out there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Crunchbase?

Crunchbase provides accurate and comprehensive information that helps startups perform research associated with capital raises. While there are other research firms doing the same, the costs of other services is often prohibitive for a start-up company. Crunchbase is accurate, timely and affordable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crunchbase?

One area where Crunchbase could improve is the presentation of financing history. Improved methods for being able to drill down into financing, history and capital sources would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Crunchbase?

Good price in comparison to other platforms and good coverage of data features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crunchbase?

Much of the information relies self-reporting, which can lead to inconsistencies. (By way of example - if a company wants to capitalize on the AI trend, they may be liberal in applying the AI tag to their business even if it's less relevant.) As such it can be difficult to get a fair view by just relying on the data provided. Analysts should take the data with a grain of salt and apply appropriate due diligence.
