## Crowdin Reviews
 ### 1. Localization for everyone

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I translate open-source projects to Turkish via Crowdin, which is an excellent opportunity to localize. I use the old features, old interface.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Maybe they can sponsor open-source projects.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You can see every project on one platform, so you don't have to sign-up for other project services. One account for all is excellent. Their support team is also great, and they can quickly answer your questions.

 ### 2. Simple to use and powerfull

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I can use Crowdin when I want, on my smartphone or my laptop.
I use it every week and I like the automatic translation from Google translate and reverso.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Not easy in smartphone mode to select text... May be we can have a zoom fonction on click or something like that

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allow everybody over the world to translate all the content of the website/product

 ### 3. Saves time using this localization/translation tool for our company's public app

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The user interface is very simple, easy to use. It clearly eases the collaborative efforts in translating my localization text for my public app. Customer Support is also very good, seems to cover all time zones as I'm getting response promptly although I live in Asia.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

There isn't really a downside in Crowdin. The auto deployment is also very comfortable, making it worth spending money on it to save the hassle and time for our team to focus on other aspects of our product.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have an app trying to publish in multiple countries, and localization could easily become a hassle if we have a lot of texts and updates. This tool is saving us from the hassle.

 ### 4. Easy to use, effective but theres always room for improvements!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I like there are always little improvements, in the UI, in the A.I recommendations, etc.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Crowdin is still not libre / open source, so I can't recommend it, even if the software is good.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Crowdin, it's easy to collaborate in software translations. As a user, you don't have to go through the hassle of setting up the project to start working.

 ### 5. Pros and cons of using Crowdin as translation platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Games | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Strong and easy to use integration with AI-translate suggestions.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Still same, but at least magic link/pass key added as options to quick login options.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin solved one of the most asked problems - the need for translation to my and the native languages of others. The functionality of Crowdin helped a lot with this task to do it easy, fast and productive.

 ### 6. Simple, easy to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dwi C. | Freelancer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

This platform provide simple to use feature with some elements that can make your jobs run smoothly. The best feature that really in handy is TM (Translation Memory) that can save our quality and help us to keep consistence with the terms we use. Every week I always check the terms discussion that will give us more insight about what we are working.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

This platform does not offer a feature that allows us to showcase our work as part of a portfolio.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowd works and sharing the idea.

 ### 7. Good AI Translation Quality, But Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonia C. | Senior Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The quality of the AI translation is good

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Pre-translate is slow, both with the TM and the AI; not allowing projects with multiple target languages, the editor not allowing to merge strings, members of a project being able to see all the files in the project and not just the ones of the tasks assigned to them, and not very intuitive in general

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We do a lot of MTPE and the fact that the quality of the MT is good allows us to keep our linguists happy and helps them be more efficient

 ### 8. Awesome place for translating projects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan Javier V. | I'm not actually working in real life nor in Crowdin., Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Fast loading website, tools for helping translate better available. Also I see the ease of use of the interface.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

I can't find downsides of the website despite it's the very first website of its kind I discovered. I'm not having issues with anything too, so little more to say.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I haven't found any problems in the website as I only use it for 3 project that actually translate and proofread. Also I've not read any blog o news about the website, so I can't tell more than I know.

 ### 9. Powerful In-Context Editing and AI Automation, Though the UI Takes Time to Master

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sara G. | Project Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I like it because its in-context editor helps reduce meaning and design errors. Additionally, its AI automation maintains the brand glossary with human precision.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Because it includes a large number of features, the interface can feel cluttered at times and takes some time to learn before you can fully master it.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s an excellent investment in automation and control, helping ensure that identity and tone of voice stay consistent across every language.

 ### 10. Crowdin product.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** 4asovoy O. | Креативный директор, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Ease of interaction with the product and the team.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

There are no special comments yet, the main thing is to get to know the product.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin is a localization management platform that streamlines translation workflows for apps, websites, and documents. It integrates with tools like GitHub and Figma, enabling real-time collaboration between developers and translators. Crowdin supports automated translation, glossary management, and quality checks. By accelerating multilingual releases and reducing manual effort, it helps businesses expand globally, improve user experience, and cut localization costs—making it essential for international growth and scalability.

 ### 11. Powerful Automation and Support, but Feature-Rich Interface Can Be Daunting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

This is my second time using Crowdin. I first used it many years ago at a different company and suggested it at a previous company when we considered internationalization. When I joined my current company, they were already doing internationalization but utilizing mostly machine translations and manual work. I suggested Crowdin again because I had experience with it, and I'm happy I did so. I appreciate the attentiveness of both the translators and employees. And especially the responsiveness when it came to working with the API to setup our automations. The #1 thing I like about Crowdin is the ability to automate my entire translations flow via the API and cron jobs. We have a very robust internal system for creating translation files in an automatic manner that we can now just upload via Cron job to Crowdin and have translated once a week. We start out with machine translation so we can ship quickly, and then have Crowdin complete the human translation work that we can pull down later. Overall, it's what I would call an "eventually correct" translation system that works very well for us to maintain velocity while eventually getting reviewed human translations.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Crowdin is extremely feature-rich and made to work well with large projects and multiple projects. This can be a little daunting when you have a specific setup in mind and a smaller surface area to cover. We don't have an entire internationalization team or anything like that, so it was up to me as an individual developer to get this set up correct and working. In the end, this was all fine, but the increased feature set that Crowdin now has was definitely daunting at first compared to what I remembered from years ago when I first used Crowdin.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, Crowdin is solving the problem of having correct translations for our users. Machine translations alone are often incorrect, and even AI, as you know, is not 100%. Having a system that I can automate but goes through a human layer is the number one benefit of Crowdin for us. I also like the sanity checks that Crowdin has built in to ensure translators are not accidentally breaking translation formatting. While we have our own sanity checks for this sort of issue, an extra layer is always appreciated.

 ### 12. Agile Translation Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maialen A. | Senior Documentation & Localization Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

This is a fantastic tool for managing translations. The interface is intuitive and straightforward, making navigation simple. Managing translations and collaborating with team members has become much easier thanks to this tool. It has helped us save time, work more efficiently, and maintain consistency across various projects.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The system is slow to update QA issue warnings, often continuing to display them even after the issues have been resolved.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm not sure I understand the question.

 ### 13. Easy to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

It´s easy to see with string are pending to be translated, which ones were translated but pending to confirm, and which ones are translated and confirmed.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

When you have permission to both translate and confirm, you are unable to complete both actions in a single step. Instead, you must first translate and then return to confirm the translation separately. Additionally, I wish the process were more automated. For instance, it would be helpful to have the option to add translations to a dictionary, allowing the software to automatically translate repeated words.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We work in several countries so translations for our PMS, and also for our support pages are needed. Crowdin allows multiples users to work on these translations.

 ### 14. Good overall tool with some rough edges in terms of experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The overall concept of the tool. The fact that it integrates with 3rd-party translators.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The interface is not the best. It takes some time to navigate and find logs when problems occur.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can speed up our translation workflow by adding automatic translation with AI and doing post-translation review by humans.

 ### 15. Excellent Tool with Robust Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

This product offers excellent out-of-the-box integrations with various tools, making it easy to get started. The support team is highly responsive and always willing to help, even going so far as to provide or develop solutions when needed. I also appreciate the Visual Reference feature in the Editor, which allows linguists to view context easily.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Compared to other industry-standard tools, I found that this one had a steeper learning curve for me, especially when it came to setting up projects, translation memories, glossaries, and understanding the basic functionality.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

one stop localization shop for a company whose content is created across many different CMS.

 ### 16. Quick and Effective Translation, Although With Initial Problems

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maria I.

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I like that Crowdin allows translating with AI easily and quickly.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

It does not automatically translate when new words arrive. At the beginning, we had problems with the configuration.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Crowdin to perform automatic translations connected to our JSON, which prevents programmers from changing the JSON manually. I like that it allows for easy and quick AI translation.

 ### 17. Using Crowdin as an open-source software author

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Games | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

For the internationalization work of the program, using Crowdin is a truly unique experience: Crowdin offers free advanced privileges for open-source projects. I can use its integrated functions to translate the text in the code repository into various languages. Crowdin can automatically download files from the repository and automatically create PRs after translation. This process is highly automated. The web application of Crowdin also supports online previewing of translations, which enables translators to intuitively see the translation effect in a "what you see is what you get" manner.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Crowdin is difficult to get started with: The UI is complex, it's hard to find the desired functions, and the relationships between various functions are loose.Furthermore, although Crowdin is a translation application, its translations are sourced from the community, which results in poor quality, especially for languages other than English.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin helped me promote my non-commercial open-source game to all over the world.

 ### 18. Simple UI, Multilingual Support, and Easy Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naman M. | Product lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The UI is simple, it works effectively across multiple languages, and it makes collaboration easy.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Nothing specific comes to mind right now. One thing they could improve, though, is offering more proactive recommendations.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This has helped make our app effective for US and UK audiences, and in the future, we plan to use it for more languages as well.

 ### 19. Great Archive Approach with Reliable Backups, Updates, and Visuals

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Building Materials | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Archive
Approach
Backups
Updates
Visual

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

When using by AI help or staff we should be noticed first otherwise if there is too much work done by them, remains too much work for complete corrections.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using a vocabulary already created

 ### 20. Easy to Set Up, But Framer Integration Fell Short on UX

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin is a great product that is very easy to setup

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Unfortunately Crowdin didn't work with our Framer app and we had to transition to Framer translations. We wanted to have smoother experience without the whole page refresh

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing translations on our website. Very easy for our translators to fill in the data

 ### 21. I’m thilled

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin is absolutely the best platform to translating your software and I love it. I'm one of the translators and for me this is a great oportunity to help other people !

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Nothing, I thing that this platform is great!

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I haven't business.

 ### 22. My experience with Crowdin has been exceptionally positive.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Translation and Localization | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Being able to work on multiple different projects from a single account while being easy and clear to navigate is great

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The experience on the mobile using browser is little more complicated, it’s missing a standalone app.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Localization of application for world-wide use.

 ### 23. Easy Integrations, Great Usability, and Good Pricing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Investment Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Usability and integrations with different platforms is easy. Also pricing is good.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

It's a bit slow when it comes to searching or loading strings.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Localizations

 ### 24. Powerful App Translation for Going Global

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fina M. | Growth and Retention, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The ability of translating an app and go international and the search key engine

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

It could be a little more user friendly by showing the app interface that you're translating for example.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Translate our app and reach a broader audience.

 ### 25. Great UX and Over-the-Air Delivery for Fast ChangesPro

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The ux is quite good, but the best part is the over-the-air delivery, so that we can make changes without a dev release-

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

sometimes tricky to understand the workflow

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

tranlsating my apps to several markets

 ### 26. Great tool for software and marketing localisation with just specific integration limitations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna B. | Localization Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin has a really easy-to-use UX and it can be implemented seemliness after the corresponding security clearance. Glossary and TMs can easily be assigned and updated, and there's a wide range of integrations to leverage with the tool.
It's a very intuitive platform with a lot of potential, perfect for everyday use for linguists, vendors, localization and content managers, and Engineering teams.
Support is great with basic UX issues, and provides good advice and workarounds when in need.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

It's proven to have limitations with certain integrations such as Contentful for content synchronization and quote calculation capabilities when dealing with a high amount of copy.
The Support team can be a bit slow with more technical issues that need immediate attention the more the size of the copy -and hence the challenges- grows.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin is helping us localize our products on a daily basis. We are handling copy for plenty of different projects that need to be worked on quickly in an organised manner, and Crowdin is helping us do that. It helps us structure teams easily and be able to come back to them when issues arise.

 ### 27. Excellent product and technical support!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kim T. | Director, Digital Experience, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

As a marketer, I found it incredibly easy to navigate the Crowdin platform. The integration with our content management system was seamless. I appreciated having a dedicated support representative from Crowdin who responded quickly and helped us resolve any technical issues we encountered. Additionally, their pricing was very competitive compared to other TMS vendors offering similar services. Overall, we are very satisfied customers!

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

As a person with Manager permission, I've encountered some limitations in accessing the specific translation setups that other linguists can see, which makes it challenging to assist them with troubleshooting. Additionally, I would love to see an in-context preview feature that allows us to view translation changes as they appear on the website before syncing them to the Content Management System. This functionality could significantly reduce the time spent sending pages back for translation. However, I recognize that implementing such a feature may be complex.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin made translating our website a seamless experience. With the assistance of LLM AI translation, we were able to translate quickly and then assign tasks to our translation vendor for human review. I especially appreciate the automatic synchronization feature that updates Crowdin as soon as the linguists finish reviewing and approving the translations. Integrating the completed translations back into our CMS is also a breeze.
Overall, the translation process across our three platforms— CMS, Crowdin, and our translation vendor—was efficient and straightforward. With proper user permissions, Crowdin allows us to assign roles to both linguists and internal reviewers effortlessly. One key factor in selecting Crowdin as our vendor was their compliance with our IT security team’s requirements, which they successfully met.

 ### 28. My go-to solution for localizing web apps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jan A. | Frontend developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I've been using Crowdin for years, and I never hestitate to recommend them. With all the experience they bring to the table, they never stop innovating and lately really doubled down on AI-driven workflows—making continuous localization more affordable and easier than ever.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Crowdin provides many configuration options and fits into every workflow your company may require. That can at times be a bit overwhelming when you're just starting out though. Consulting their docs and learning materials can be very helpful here.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin enables me to translate web apps with AI-driven, continuous localization.

 ### 29. Easy to use localization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oren N. | Head of Support, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin has made a huge difference in how we manage localization. The automation is probably the biggest win-translations sync automatically, so we’re not wasting time on manual updates or chasing down files. It just runs in the background and keeps everything moving.

Managing multiple teams is also simple. Whether it's developers, translators, or reviewers, Crowdin makes it easy to assign roles and track progress. Everyone stays aligned, and the whole process feels smooth.

We also really like how easily AI integrates into the workflow. Setting it up was fast, and it helps speed up translations without sacrificing quality. It’s especially useful when dealing with a high volume of content.

Adding new languages is another area where Crowdin shines. It doesn’t feel like a big task-just a few clicks and you're ready to go. That flexibility is key as we expand into more regions.

Finally, the codebase integration is seamless. We connected it to our repos, and now everything stays in sync automatically. No copy-pasting, no versioning headaches.

Overall, Crowdin helps us move faster, stay organized, and scale globally without friction.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The only downsides we’ve experienced are that new features can feel a bit rough around the edges when they first roll out-it usually takes some time before they’re fully polished. Also, when something breaks or doesn’t work as expected, the error messages can be unclear, and it’s not always easy to troubleshoot without reaching out to support.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Crowdin, translations are automated and integrated directly into our codebase, so everything stays up to date without extra effort. It centralizes communication between developers, translators, and reviewers, which helps us avoid misalignment and keeps projects moving smoothly.

The biggest benefit is speed and scalability

 ### 30. Best Softare Translation Choice

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allen Z. | Software Engineer, Information Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin now has a very good integration with AI tools, and we can put a lot of customization in AI settings, such as customized prompt and self-hosted proxy. These help us expand the language coverage to those languages rarely supported by our community.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

So far, Gemini API in Crowdin settings only support Google Cloud one's. If Gemini AI Studio can be supported, that will be a huge update.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin helped me implement localized translation for my C# application. They have very good compatibility. After setting up the project for the first time, I almost no longer have to do any more settings. The project has been ongoing for more than a year and there have been no problems.

 ### 31. Simple platform for localisation automation

It's causing us less overhead when it comes to translating our product and its features.

 ### 33. Easy, Intuitive Participation in Translation Projects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

It is very easy to participate on translation projects, very intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

In my experience, it was a bit tricky having to save twice for the translation to be considered solved

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a trilingual platform and Crowdin have been helping us to translate all improvements and new products into the 3 languages from different parts of the world, super helpful for a global company.

 ### 34. Great for mobile app localization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Package/Freight Delivery | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I've been using Crowdin for 3 React Native apps for the past 3 years.
Getting projects set up and inviting contributors is really easy. The interface is pretty straightforward, and there is a CLI to upload/download translations easily.
AI-powered translations give you a solid starting point, cutting down the time you'd otherwise spend on manual first drafts.
The crowdsourced translations page is also great; it makes it easy to see who's working on what and review contributions easily.
When I've had questions, the support team has been really quick and efficient, which is rare.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Stepping up from the free plan to Pro feels like a biug jump. The increase is hard to justify if you only need a couple extra words or features. It would be nice to have an intermediary plan.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A centralized and easy to use interface to import/export source files, translate, and manage contributions

 ### 35. Powerful localization management tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Garazi U. | Technical Translator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin is an intuitive, powerful localization tool. It allows centralizing the software localization process in a single place by managing different roles (manager, translator, developer). The QA-check tool as well as the Pre-Translate options are incredibly useful to improve quality and consistency in translations. The different settings options allow tailoring the experience to our needs while keeping the process simple. Crowdin has also provided continuous support by chat for any questions on the tool.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

As suggestions for improvement, enabling the "Copy source to target" option as a mass action would be very useful (similarly to "Approve translation" option), for the cases in which this action must be performed in several strings. I also suggest incorporating the possibility to add screenshots in Discussions, which is needed when debating certain terminology decisions that involve software texts.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have not encountered problems in Crowdin.

 ### 36. Efficient Localization Workflow with Strong Contextual Features

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

We use Crowdin at Wattstor for managing frontend and backend translations into three languages. After testing a few platforms, Crowdin was the clear winner—it struck a great balance between price and functionality. One of the features I appreciate most is the in-context translation editor. It allows translators to see exactly where each string appears in the interface, which really helps avoid ambiguity. I also like the overall ease of use and how well it integrates with GitHub. The AI-powered suggestions are a nice bonus that helps speed things up without compromising quality.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The biggest issue we've run into is the lack of auto-save. On two occasions, our translators made updates but forgot to manually save them, and the changes were lost. If auto-save isn’t feasible, it would be great to have a prompt that reminds users to save before exiting. This small improvement would prevent lost work and frustration. Other than that, the experience has been solid.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin helps us solve the challenge of managing consistent, high-quality translations across multiple teams and codebases. At Wattstor, we currently support three languages across both frontend and backend systems, and Crowdin allows us to centralize all translation efforts in one place. It reduces context-switching, eliminates the need for manual file exchanges, and ensures translators work with full UI context. This leads to better accuracy, faster delivery, and fewer bugs in production caused by string mismatches. It’s also helped us streamline collaboration between product, development, and translation teams.

 ### 37. Effortless Translation Management, Needs Improved UI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Annalisa T.

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I love how Crowdin's user-friendly setup makes it easy to change translations effortlessly. It significantly aids in managing translations for multiple languages, providing the ability to choose the best options from saved translations. This adaptability across different languages streamlines the translation process efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

I find the interface design not very user-friendly or visually appealing. It seems outdated, and I believe it would be beneficial for it to have a more modern appearance.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Crowdin to manage translations for our international operations, simplifying the process across multiple languages and enabling easy adaptation and selection of translations.

 ### 38. Effortless to Use with Excellent Integrations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adelina Maria S. | Lifecycle Marketing Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I appreciate how easy it is to use, and I also value how well it integrates with other tools.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Some features don’t align perfectly with my team’s specific use cases, but I recognize that this is also partly due to our own processes

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool has made it much easier for us to handle translations and manage all aspects of localisation. The interface is straightforward and user-friendly, which simplifies the entire process.

 ### 39. Great for translation review and collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anastasiia S. | UX writer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

As a UX writer, I mostly used Crowdin to review translations and check how they look in context and in terms of usability. I’m not a pro user, but here’s what I really liked:

- Built-in machine translation — a good starting point for our translators
- Translation memory — even with a glossary, it’s been important for keeping things consistent across the product
- Comparing translations across different locales — helps understand context better and compare with what’s already translated
- Commenting directly on strings — great for giving feedback to our translators, asking questions, and resolving issues
- Integration with the code — translated strings go straight into the product automatically
- Figma plugin — made it easy to see translations in context and spot issues early, both for translators and UX writers doing reviews. Has been a life-changer

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

- Sometimes, it’s hard to understand the full context of a string, especially when it includes variables, is part of an A/B test, or is outdated.
- This leads me to the next point about the Figma plugin. I don't know if it’s even possible, but being able to jump from a string to the exact text component in Figma using the plugin would have been a life-changer. That said, the plugin itself has been amazing, and I honestly can’t stress enough how much of a help it’s been!

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin helps make the localization process smooth for everyone involved — developers, translators, and me as a UX writer. Here are some of the key problems it solves:
- Makes implementation of localized strings easier, as localized strings show up in the product automatically
- Allows translations to be reviewed in context via the Figma plugin — both translators and UX writers can see how text looks inside actual designs, which speeds up the review and helps avoid layout or tone issues
- Helps translators work more efficiently with features like character counters, machine translation, and translation memory
- Makes communication faster — you can comment on individual strings to ask questions, give feedback, or clarify meaning without lots of back-and-forth

Overall, Crowdin saves time and helps everyone work better together.

 ### 40. Simple to use UI, with little problems

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kalin L. | Open Source Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The platform has been incredibly easy for me and my open source contributors to use. Due to the extensive examples, I was able to enable auto-syncing with my GitHub repo easily and changes that my translators make can go directly back to my repo with ease. The customer support is great and the only time I have had to contact them was a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The AI features are not too helpful for translating, as AI is primarily trained on English and as such it was not good for translating. You could experience some issues with OAuth2 and then changing the email on your OAuth provider, but nothing that can't be solved with contacting support.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easily being able to select multiple different translations and the best one being automatically synced back to my GitHub repo.

 ### 41. A reliable modern solution for multilingual support in your product.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jevhen K. | CTO, Head of Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

In general – highly recommended this product!

1.	First of all, it offers a wide range of plugins and supports various localization workflows with highly flexible configuration options.
2. Email localization is fully supported.
3. Multiple translation methods are available — from machine translation to AI-powered tools (you can even connect your own API key and use your preferred AI provider account).
4. Clear and transparent user roles — Owner, Developer, Reviewer — everything is organized intuitively.
5. The pre-translate option significantly speeds up the initial translation process, allowing you to focus on reviewing and refining afterward.
6. Built-in spell check and smart suggestions help with jargon, context-specific language, and more.
7. Easy to implementation.
8. Easy to integration.
9. Good customer support, demo.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

1.	It’s clear that the system is evolving rapidly, so some aspects of the UX may raise questions — nothing critical, but noticeable.
2. There’s occasionally a lag in request processing, and at times it’s unclear what process is currently running. Once you understand how it works, it’s fine, but before that, it can feel a bit confusing.
3. Saved translations sometimes get replaced by older versions. You can fix this by manually approving the correct version and deleting the outdated one — this method works 100%. Until we figured that out, it caused some frustration.
4. There’s a lack of warnings or explanations about the consequences of certain actions, especially in areas where there could be risks with keys.
5. Pricing was a bit confusing at first — specifically, how hosted words are counted. This should be explained more clearly and made easier to find in the documentation or interface.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin help to quick implemented translation management tool for our:
1. website
2. web-app
3. emails

One tool for all translations with one dictionary.

 ### 42. Many integrations and excellent customer support. I would improve vendor management.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I love the great range of integrations offered by Crowdin to work with our stakeholders:

- Support (Intercom)
- Designers (Figma)
- Marketing (Contentful)
- Engineers (Github)

Their editor is also very intuitive to use and it offers different views (Side-by-Side, Comfortable, Multilingual, etc.).

Big highlight: Their support team is AMAZING. Always available and really helpful.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

I have been facing some challenges working in a federated approach with our vendor (when assigning tasks to our vendor). They only see de new strings assigned in a spefic tasks without being able to cross-reference/check previously translated strings for consistency.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin makes it easier to offer localization services to a wide range of stakeholders within tech companies (engineers, designers, support, etc.)

 ### 43. Effortless Translations, Needs Better File Handling

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rui Manuel d.

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I use Crowdin to manage translation within the organization and appreciate how it centralizes translation efforts across all platforms. I find Crowdin easy to use, mainly due to its straightforward interface that makes navigating tasks such as finding strings hassle-free.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Uploading large files is usually error prone.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Crowdin to centralize translation across platforms, simplifying management with its straightforward interface, which makes finding strings easy.

 ### 44. useful, interesting, but not very intuitive yet

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I really like that all translations are centralized in one place, which makes it easier to collaborate with teammates.
It is convenient to manage different projects and language folders separately, so there is no confusion between tasks.
The built-in machine translation is surprisingly good, and it saves me time when preparing the first draft of translations.
I also appreciate the integration options with GitHub/GitLab, because they allow me to keep translations in sync with development.
The interface is clean and modern, and I enjoy that I can track progress for each language at a glance.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Perhaps the most difficult thing is that the platform is not always intuitive, especially for new users.
The instructions and guides available inside Crowdin are helpful, but they don’t always explain the full process clearly.
For example, I struggled for quite a long time before I understood how to upload a file with strings for translation.
When I first started, some of the project settings and workflow options were confusing, and I needed support from colleagues to figure them out.
It would be great if the platform included more step-by-step onboarding or in-app tutorials for beginners.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin helps me keep all translations organized in one place instead of working with multiple files across different folders.
It solves the problem of version control, since I can always see the latest strings and avoid mixing up old and new content.
It also makes teamwork much easier — several translators can work on the same project simultaneously without conflicts.
The ability to manage many languages at once saves me a lot of time, because I don’t need to create separate spreadsheets or documents for each one.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Nothing to dislike. Crowdin is awesome and the best.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy for volunteer translators to contribute without understanding GitHub or any software.

 ### 46. Great and efficient solution to translate web pages

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roy G. | Customer Support Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin makes managing translations easy and efficient. It's great for teams, with smooth collaboration and helpful integrations that keep everything organized.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

A minor issue is that the initial setup can feel a bit overwhelming for new users. A more guided onboarding could help smooth out the start.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin solves the challenge of managing translations efficiently across multiple languages and team members. By centralizing the process and integrating with our workflow, it helps us translate our website faster and more accurately. This allows us to reach a broader audience without slowing down development or compromising quality.

 ### 47. Great localisation platform with continuous improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cornelius W. | Software localisation specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The platform is sleek, performant and supports all features required for quick and high quality localization of projects. Furthermore the team continually improves upon existing features and adds new ones

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Occassionally there have been outages and down times that were quite disruptive to my daily workflow

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaborative localization management

 ### 48. One of the accessible CAT tools around.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Translation and Localization | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Well. Customer support has changed. They respond from the get go and are clear about what they want, Screen shots and so on. You will no longer see them as disorganized.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

More accessibility. It hasn't improved since the review. In fact, it has worsened as I can no longer see Machine Translation or Translation Memory suggestions with my Screen Reader, so I translate manually

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think that its accessability is helping me find work to translate. The fact that many developers are using Crowdin to translate their software is a plus for me because this means I can reach out and translate for them if they need my native language. Most CAT Tools which exist aren't accessible with the blind except web based ones and even accessible ones aren't so many.

 ### 49. Powerful Insights That Drive Real Results

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julius Felix K. | Sales Development Representative, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

It’s super easy to manage all our translations in one place. I like how it connects with GitHub and Figma so we don’t have to do things manually. Also, the in-context feature helps a lot—our translators can actually see where the text goes.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Sometimes the UI feels a bit crowded and takes a bit to get used to. Also, setting up some of the integrations the first time wasn’t super clear—but once it’s running, it works well.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin helps us keep all our translations organized and up to date across different projects. Before, we had to do a lot of manual work and back-and-forth with translators. Now it's much faster and less messy, which saves us time and avoids mistakes in our product.

 ### 50. Crowdin: A Game-Changer for Global Product Development

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emmanuel B. | Product Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

What I like best about Crowdin is its user-friendly interface coupled with robust features that streamline the localization process. The platform supports a wide range of file formats and integrates seamlessly with various development tools, making it incredibly efficient for managing multilingual content. Additionally, the real-time collaboration and strong community support enhance productivity and ensure high-quality translations.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

One aspect I dislike about Crowdin is that the pricing can be a bit steep for smaller businesses or projects with limited budgets. Additionally, the initial learning curve can be somewhat challenging for new users who are not familiar with localization platforms. While the interface is generally user-friendly, navigating through some advanced features can feel overwhelming without proper guidance or prior experience.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin solves localization challenges by centralizing and organizing translation workflows, which reduces errors and saves time. Its real-time collaboration tools and seamless integration with development tools speed up the time-to-market for global products. This results in increased efficiency and higher-quality localized content, benefiting our global reach and productivity.
