I like that Crossbeam has a native integration with Salesforce that allows partner data to reflect tech stack data in our CRM. This provides greater visibility for our entire team.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

I wish there was a way to report on data from the Crossbeam widget. It would be awesome to be able to pull a Salesforce report of all Accounts that are using a certain technology.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crossbeam gives us valuable insight into what technologies our customers and prospects are using. This allows us to collaborate with partners on sales strategy and provide relevant information during a sales cycle on how to best leverage our integrations.

  ### 5. Great way to connect with partners

  ### 6. Kudos to Crossbeam team!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prasanna L. | Senior RevOps Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

I've been using Crossbeam passionately for the last 1.5 years and I find it really effective. It's great to note that Crossbeam offers a free plan and a paid plan but you can get the most out of it using the free plan itself unless you decide to connect to your CRM. Guess what - it's going to be super-efficient if connected to CRM to boost the impact of the Partner Ecosystem.

I also really like the blog posts that Crossbeam creates, all of them are very neatly prepared, align with what companies are building and take a lot of learning from the content they produce. It's not as easy to write about Partnerships but many thanks for what they are doing.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

Nothing I can think of honestly. I only had great experience using Crossbeam!

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crossbeam is an Account Mapping platform that lets you share your prospect, open opportunities and customer information with your trusted partners. Similarly the partners will be sharing the information with your company and if there is an overlap or a match, you setup rules for data sharing. Imagine one day you wake up and see hundreds of your open opportunities are already customers of your partner, it becomes easier to work with your partner to close those open deals. It's a well planned and efficient tool to generate pipeline and win deals from your partners existing network.

  ### 7. game-changer for partnership management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lenka B. | Chief Marketing Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

I have been using Crossbeam for a few months now and I am very impressed by its features and benefits. Crossbeam is a partner ecosystem platform that helps me find and activate partnerships with other companies, securely share data with them, map accounts and identify overlaps, and co-sell with them to drive more revenue. Crossbeam has made my partnership management much easier and more effective.

Crossbeam has helped me grow my business by enabling me to:

- Discover new leads and prospects from my partners’ networks
- Advance existing deals and shorten sales cycles with partner support
- Grow joint accounts and increase customer retention with co-marketing and co-delivery
- Build trust and credibility with my partners and customers

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

- Crossbeam can sometimes be slow to load or sync data, especially when there are a lot of overlaps or partners involved.
- Crossbeam does not have a mobile app or a browser extension, which would make it more convenient to access and use on the go.
- Crossbeam could have more integrations with other tools and platforms that I use, such as email marketing, social media, or analytics.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Discover new leads and prospects from my partners’ networks
Advance existing deals and shorten sales cycles with partner support
Grow joint accounts and increase customer retention with co-marketing and co-delivery
Build trust and credibility with my partners and customers

  ### 8. Saves me hours a week

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

The platform itself is a really simple idea, but the execution of it and the fact that most of our partners have adopted it means that we're able to account map very quickly and easily. It's helps massively when we're evaluating a new partner, we can quickly identify existing mutual clients (great for case study and GTM campaigns) and quickly identify mutual open opportunities, that helps us prioritise partner activitiy.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

Sometimes, crossbeam can be a bit slow - but we're using the free version, so I can't really complain!

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Account mapping and identifying top tier clients. It saves me from having to update different Google Sheets as all the data is automatically pulled in. We're able to be notified whenever a new prospect is a mutual prospect of our parnters which helps us even further in the sales cycle and we're able to close deals more efficiently.

  ### 9. Necessary for Partnership Development

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

Ease of use, security, and support teams

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

Would love to see sharper sales intelligence tools and comprehensive partnership scoring/success metrics

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Partnership visability and ROI for joint GTM

  ### 10. Must have! Full integrate this tool into your sales & CSM team to get full partner traction!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cory S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

Reveal has features that save me time! Their marketplace allows me to see if a partnership makes sense just off the overlap %. That tells me if I should reach out or if the potential partner has reached out, does a convo makes sense. This has saved me 10+ 30 minute calls. I also use this info for hunting for new partnerships. In addition, I think the way Reveal prices makes them a more attractive solution than their closest competitor.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

The only thing I can add here is I like the way they do their filtering/reporting, but if you are used to making reports, it doesn't look like Reveal does that. Yet the way they do their "reports" is by simply leveraging filtering in the 360 Mapping. Which I love, but it wasn't made clear to me initially and required a call with my rep to walk me through it.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have Reveal fulling integrated into our Salesforce instance. This has given me the ability to get Reveal in front of our AE, SDR, BDR & CX teams faster & way more efficiently. I've done trainings with every team that will touch Reveal on how to leverage it to drive sales & renewals. In addition, our teams use the info to reach out to the partner to discuss the account. I call it "co-intel" vs. "co-selling". Our sales team is able to connect with the partner's CSM team to find out things like, who is the decision maker, what was their buying process and anything else that might be useful in the sales cycle. Reveal has shortened the gap in our sales cycle, increased conversion and increased our probability of making a sale.

**Official Response from Clark Gronek:**

> Thanks for taking some time to leave a review! We love to hear that you have been able to save time and effort using Reveal. Discovering new partners is one of the our favorite use cases of the platform so we're glad you have been able to integrate it into your own process.

We appreciate your feedback and recognize that many users are used to building reports. We're always looking to enhance our user experience so your notes are well received!

  ### 11. Intelligent Account Mapping and insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Per A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

There are many things that I like about Reveal! To start with, I like the user interface, which is intuitive and easy to navigate around, and that is also the feedback we get from our partners that we invite to use Reveal.

Reveal makes account mapping a breeze, and getting that 360c overview is so valuable and makes it much easier to prioritize the most important accounts for you and your partner(s).

The integration to HubSpot and how it is possible to enable Sales and CX about important information they can use to add value to your customers and prospects are very valuable to us.

Lastly, we appreciate the 360 views of our partners that we are connected with in Reveal. This functionality gives us even better insights into the tools our customers and prospects use and how we might fit, or the partner, in their tech stack so we become more relevant in our conversations with them. It can also give us a hint as to where we should prioritize future integrations.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

We have been using Reveal for about a year, with a combination of the free version and in late 2022, the paid version, and so far, so good.

Whenever we have some feedback, we feel that the Reveal team listens and do what they can to fix it or put it on the roadmap.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the challenge of doing efficient account mapping, meaning no more excel sheets, but always up to date and in a more dynamic way, saving both our partners and us a lot of time!
It gives us that "birds view" of what is happening in our partner ecosystem and how we can contribute to our partners, our mutual customers and relevant prospects - knowledge that would be more difficult to obtain before, if at all, and for sure take up more of our time.

**Official Response from Clark Gronek:**

> Thanks for your review!

It’s great that you’ve taken full advantage of the platform feature’s and are utilizing the 360 degree view.

We pride ourselves on customer service so we love to hear that you’ve had a positive experience with our team in helping you accomplish your goals.

  ### 12. Selling is a Team Sport

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

Reveals awesome! It allows you to see details about accounts in your territory that were once thought impossibe. Things like who they are a customer of and who is selling to them.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

For the current macro economic environment tech stack consolidation and reduced expenses are top of mind for everyone. Everyone is fighting for dollars; therefore, those who have open opportunities at the same accounts you're trying to sell to may become adversaries instead of partners in an alliance.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Knowing more information about a prospect's current tech stack composition and who they're working with can be utilized and leveraged in so many ways, including partnering with your counterparts at those vendors, learning how they penetrated an account, relationship mapping, etc.

**Official Response from Clark Gronek:**

> Thanks for your review! It's always appreciated when we hear someone else who shares our excitement around partnership enablement.

We understand that the tech landscape is highly competitive and protective of data, so we are constantly improving our product and practices thanks to feedback like yours!

  ### 13. Unlock revenue and relationships

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Salvatore (Sal) S. | VP Product & Technical Operations / Co-Founder, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

The platform is incredibly valuable. What a concept. The matrix is critical. Connections directly to the CRM make this a real-time insights tool for us, and our entire company and team.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

Some hesitancies by some partners to share data... this isn't on Crossbeam, but anything that can be built in to help with this e.g. "auto NDA", would be amazing.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform allows our sales and partnerships team to unlock relationships -- we can help our partners, which is the most valuable action we can take to grow business together. This platform 100% enables this.

  ### 14. Sales team uncovered partners with deeper relationships that led to more wins and more revenue

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lew B. | Regional Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

Crossbeam was used at a tech (SAAS) company with a partner resell network and direct sales focus.

- Found partners with higher-up relationships to help bring in and win business, faster
- Found partners with cross-departmental relationships and expanded usage
- Removes manual account mapping process between two or multiple companies and is always up to date in real-time
- Qualifying new partners

Within the first 3 months, we had a large 6 figure deal but no access to the c-suite (our competitors did) Using Crossbeam we uncovered partners that had relationships, reached out and found a partner with c-suite relationships. We brought them in and won the business together. This one deal paid for the software, 20x.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

The biggest challenge we faced wasn't necessarily due to Crossbeam's technology. I experienced challenges around partners that weren't willing to share, clean, and upkeep their data. Crossbeam has measurements in place to ensure the data doesn't become abused which most partners started to realize once they took baby steps into using the product. The ones who were onboard from the get-go were the ones we saw quick and early success with, together!

It takes work and time but in the end, it's all worth it.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uncovering partners that can fill gaps in the sales process/customer journey to help win and maintain more business.
Avoiding missed opportunities through outdated account mapping processes
Helping internal partner and sales team build stronger relationships and alignment
Qualifying net new partners to create stronger strategic focus

  ### 15. Essential Partner Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John S. | Partner Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

Having used Crossbeam for the last three years I find this forms an essential part of my day-to-day management of my partner network. The ability to quickly vet potential partners without having to rely on oputdated spreadsheets is a huge bonus. For ongoing engagements, giving the sales team oversight of the available partners to progress their deals has helped to show the benefit that the partner team can deliver and fostered stronger ongoing relationships between the two teams.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

Honestly, I'm yet to find much that I don't like about the platform. Crossbeam's only just getting its presence in the UK set up, so hopefully we'll see some of the events of a similar calibre to those in North America, but other than that it's been a great experience using it.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crossbeam is integral to our account mapping process. It's sped up the vetting process for new partners, onboarding timelines, and ensured we can see new overlap opportunities immediately rather than on a semi-regular basis.

  ### 16. Crossbeam is a life saver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mallie K. | Sales Development Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

Crossbeam has drastically enhanced my day-to-day by automating account mapping; I can now identify opportunities more efficiently and make quick decisions on where we should spend our time.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

The portal could be a bit more user-friendly, it took me a few tries to learn how to upload our client/prospect lists and have them in the correct format.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Evaluating and qualifying Partnership opportunities starts with seeing how many common clients/ prospects your company has with the partner in question. Crossbeam automates that whole process so there isn't a question of "is this worth our time?" for a sector of the business that isn't as cut-and-dry as sales.

  ### 17. Expand the Impact of Partners Across Your Org and Ecosystem

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derek S. | Director of Partnerships, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

Crossbeam’s Salesforce custom object and widget are a game changer for driving the adoption of their data across your internal teams. If this data were not easy to view or create processes around, reps would not fully leverage a tool like this. But through Crossbeam’s custom object, I created numerous dashboards and reports directly in Salesforce, where our reps live.

Our SDRs/AEs use these dashboards and reports to prioritize their prospect accounts, and managers use these to facilitate pipeline reviews to ensure reps take advantage of partners in every step of their deal cycles. Our PS/CS teams are now using these reports and dashboards to drive the adoption of our integrations during initial customer implementations and follow-up account review calls.

Their Salesforce custom object also allows us to develop complex workflows in LeanData to drive advanced notifications (both internally and externally), create SLAs and tasks for our reps, and drive creative partner use-cases across our teams.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

Partners have too much control over their populations and how they are defined. So the standard “Open Opportunities” population for one partner may be specific to New Business, while another partner may have New Business, Upsell, and Renewal opportunities in this population.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Where do I begin? It allows my team to drive value across our organization and showcase how valuable partner ecosystems are. The value of partner ecosystems is more important today than ever, but for some organizations, you need a tool like Crossbeam to help showcase this value. Crossbeam is helping us reduce customer churn by connecting with relevant Consulting Partners when a mutual customer’s account health drops, prioritizing joint value messages to the most relevant prospects, driving integration adoption, informing Consulting Partners when their clients are in an active deal cycle with us, and the list goes on.

Simply put, our teams would not be as productive nor effective as we are today without Crossbeam.

  ### 18. Fast Automated Account Mapping to Manage and Activate Your Partner Ecosystem!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shawn L. | Executive Member, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

1) Intuitive setup process: Create your Populations, add/invite your Partners, and dive into your overlaps with partners and Reports!
2) Simple and easy to view partner overlaps for you to drive different activation plays
3) Crossbeam to HubSpot (CRM) integration is fast and accurate - it rocks!
4) Real-time Crossbeam support has helped our team troubleshoot issues quickly
5) Crossbeam Chrome Extension is super handy for quick insights

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

Nothing jumps out! I've yet to utilize the Threads and Home tabs but we might do so more as we continue to grow. Have also logged into Crossbeam on my phone and am looking to use that more often.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to automatically share account (customer, prospect) information and act on overlaps with partners without creating manual spreadsheets. This enables us to systematically drive mutual referrals and co-selling/marketing activations with partners in our ecosystem, and work efficiently with Sales and Customer Success teams internally and externally. Gamechanger for sure!

  ### 19. Key Tool in the Partnership Tech Stack

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas D. | Global Partnership Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

I really like that Crossbeam offers a large network of potential partners that are ready to connect. The easy onboarding and powerful free tier make it accessible for all of my partners to join. I also appreciate the secure and easy sharing capabilities, which allows me to find and share the data that matters without over-sharing. The platform also helps my team scale by providing real-time partner data and enabling us to collaborate with the strongest partners on the hottest deals. Additionally, the ability to prioritize integrations based on mutual customers is extremely valuable for informing and influencing our product roadmap. Overall, I am impressed by the range of valuable features offered by Crossbeam.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

One potential downside of the Crossbeam platform is that a large number of my partners often prefer a competitor's product, forcing me to use multiple products to accommodate everyone.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to prioritize integrations is the most important feature of the Crossbeam platform. It allows me to use real data to inform and influence my product roadmap, rather than relying on subjective opinions or assumptions. By evaluating which integrations I should prioritize based on the number of mutual customers I have with my partners, I can make more informed decisions and ensure that my product development efforts are aligned with the needs and preferences of my target market. This can help me to maximize the value of my partnerships and drive better business results.

  ### 20. Fan of Crossbeam!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

It is an excellent tool for North American companies using overlap partner CRM insights to determine who to prospect, what messaging to use (leveraging partnership/integration messaging), or even to identify co-selling opportunities.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

Nothing at the current moment. Still exploring all the benefits of the tool and how to leverage it best internally and externally.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Crossbeam for a number of purposes - mostly around partner ecosystem management and value measurement of partnerships (that we have access to data and overlaps). We also leverage for sales intelligence and co-selling motions.

  ### 21. A must have for managing tech partnerships

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike K. | Technology Alliances Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

Crossbeam makes account mapping secure, easy, and fast. My tech partners can upload a spreadsheet or connect directly to their SFDC and in just minutes, we can see the breakdown of our joint customers, open opportunities, and prospects. Since the data is live, updates in SFDC automatically propagate, and you can filter by region, industry, rep, or any custom field. The best part is that my partners can self-serve their account list needs - they don't have to wait for me to pull spreadsheets manually for them.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

I don't have any specific product dislikes, but our legal team requires an MNDA in place between each partner we connect to - this can take a few days to complete.
The report export can take a minute or so to generate - but it's not that big of a delay.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Securely shares data between our team and partners.
Allows partners to look up joint accounts and opportunities without my intervention.
Data is always live, so I don't have to manually copy and paste SFDC reports into spreadsheets.
Partners have the flexibility to upload their account list as a spreadsheet if they don't want to live connect to SFDC.
You can segment accounts by common SFDC fields such as region, industry and rep - making it easy to look up and connect the rights account teams.

  ### 22. A must-have for Partnerships Professionals

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anders S. | VP Partnerships, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

I cannot imagine having to do manual account mapping for all the partners that we have, even in a young partnerships program! Crossbeam gives us everything we need to asses and engage with our portfolio of partners in a meaningful way, while funneling information through our organization that helps everyone do a better job!

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

There is not a lot to dislike about Crossbeam. If i were to mention anything, is that the UI is a bit cluttered, and it is not always easy finding exactly what you are looking for, but this is more something to get used to than anything else!

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are working with a very large portfolio of partners. Crossbeam enables us to access account overlaps before we engage with new partners, and once we have found a partner and signed a partnership agreement, it helps us to engage with that partner in a meaningful way, by sharing accounts and knowledge that help us work professionally with leads, and create significantly more value than what we would be able to do without it!

  ### 23. Great Tool for any Partner/Alliance Manager!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris R. | Strategic Alliances Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

Crossbeam not only plugs into our CRM for frequent updates, but it also allows me to control what data I share with each partner. This enables more collaboration and customization, helping us meet each alliance's needs. Crossbeam's customer success team is extremely responsive to my questions. If there's an issue, they're quick to help resolve it via live chat or through a Zoom call. They are a great team to work with. Best of all, like their site says, Crossbeam is free forever and it is a wildly useful product.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

There are some issues with filtering on reports I have discussed with the Crossbeam team, and those things are currently a work in progress. For some advanced account mapping, I still need to export my Crossbeam report to Excel to make customizations. That said, Crossbeam meets 95% of my needs with their platform.

**Recommendations to others considering Crossbeam:**

Account mapping and partnership managers

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The days of static account dumps are gone. Crossbeam's daily email alerts about overlap updates help foster collaboration with partners. The ability to leverage the data within Crossbeam to facilitate pipeline and demand modeling have been a boon to my processes and workflow. I have gone as far as to tell partners that if we are not connected on Crossbeam, the pipeline will begin to suffer going forward...it's just too easy and efficient to manage all of this data in a single platform.

  ### 24. Essential for any partnerships team in the eCommerce ecosystem!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Riya J. | Partnerships Marketing Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

Using prospect and client overlaps saves us an enormous amount of time. Not only does this help identify prospects for us to go after together but it can easily show us a list of clients we can create marketing materials around. It's still an extremely efficient tool in helping us set the foundation for partnerships (or even find out whether partnering makes sense in the first place).

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

Their salesforce connector is robust, but it takes a couple of hours to update accurately. Sometimes we'll have to schedule another call to go through overlaps in data with a partner since it's not done in real time. However, it's still an extremely efficient tool in helping us set the foundation for partnerships (or even find out whether partnering makes sense in the first place). We're saving way more time than we were using excel sheets and CRM exports.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crossbeam helps us determine if there's enough market overlap to pursue a meaningful partnership with our technology partners at Nosto. Once we decide we're good partners, we rely on crossbeam to help us find prospects that make sense to go after together (co-selling) and mutual clients we can market with. We also use Crossbeam to match our opportunities with our partners' clients. It is super helpful in our partnership sales strategy.

  ### 25. Must Have for Alliances

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kris K. | Director, Global Alliances, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

Before Crossbeam, our teams were doing account mapping exercises through spreadsheets, which was a very manual process. Connecting to our Salesforce instance and automatically mapping across our customers and prospects saves an enormous amount of time. We can now automate this motion, quickly identifying similarities with our partners and focusing on more significant initiatives simultaneously.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

One challenge we encounter is situations where our data points differ from a partner's data and can sometimes create mismatches. Another thing that would be helpful to fix is identifying an opportunity at the account level related to their customer status (paying customer, trial, prospect, etc). Sometimes our customers show up as open opportunities because we have an upsell in the system. As we typically look at partners for net new business it would be great to classify if an account is a customer, they only show up in the customer field and not open opportunities.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crossbeam is saving the biggest challenge, which is the manual process of account mapping. We work with organizations that have 1,000+ partner managers. When those partner managers send us a list of their territoried accounts, it could be several hundred. Our team can't manage that, so having Crossbeam automate this process and identify the relevant 3-10 accounts on that list saves us so much time.

  ### 26. Amazing Resource for Strategic Alliances

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca T. | Senior Manager of Strategic Alliances, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

Setup is simple and efficient, and the existing user base makes it easy to quickly find value in the tool. Connecting with partners and pulling reports on customers, open opps, and prospect that overlap make account mapping a much more efficient task.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

I would prefer more features to control the data being tracked. For example, if sensitive accounts are not yet sharable with partners, it would be much more efficient to turn those off from view rather than turn off the data sharing setting on the entire overlap report. It would also be beneficial to have a way to track action items and create custom fields in our reporting. I have heard from the Crossbeam team that these are features in the roadmap plans, so I would be curious to see how those work once they are launched.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crossbeam simplifies account mapping with partners overall. It takes the manual work of finding those overlaps out of the equation. Utilizing real-time data and having overlap counts presented automatically is a huge time saver accross the board.

  ### 27. Crossbeam has become an essential to for Partnerships

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Timothy H. | VP Alliances and Partnerships, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

Crossbeam has made account mapping simple. Any tool that replaces a very manual, inaccurate process with something that is a pleasure to use and always updated, is an easy win.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

There are a few tweaks that could make the interface easier to use. However, I do think the team has done a fantastic job listening to use feedback and making great updates

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crossbeam solves one of the toughest problem in the partnership world. It allows companies to easily connect Salesforce instances to do account mapping. This replaces a manual process of exchanging spreadsheets. Crossbeam goes even further by allowing you to create populations around customer, prospects, and other custom products. This allows account mapping to go much deeper than any manual exchange of data. The other great part is that Crossbeam's connection allows this data to be kept up to date--no more stale spreadsheets.

  ### 28. If you work with partners, you need Crossbeam.

**Reviewed by:** Kaushik K. | Lead - Partnerships, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

The ease of use. Its intuitive, the set-up is easy, and it makes it effortless to use it post-initial set-up which saves so much time and delivers immediate value.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

Can't really complain. Their free plan literally give you everything you need to get stared with account mapping.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to cross-reference clientele and build a case for internal and external evengalism to dedicate resources to a partnership is a big win for us!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tobias H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

Instant and secure account mapping and you get a great overwiev of your partnerships.

It is also easy to identify new potential partners and get valuebale data before jumping into anything.

The Reveal Salesforce App is also a perfect addition to our salesstack and makes it so easy when reaching out to prospects!

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

In all honesty, i cant think of anything as of yet!

If there has been something, they have great customer support and listen to any feedback you might have! :)

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our sales reps are now empowered to bring up their own pipeline with the Reveal partner mapping on Salesforce, which speeds up the process and has taken a lot of upfront work off my

its also free, so super easy to recommend to partners and the feedback from them is great as well.

**Official Response from Clark Gronek:**

> THANK YOU TOBIAS! We work hard to make the user experience as intuitive and friendly as possible so feedback like yours goes a long way.

Very glad you have found value with the Reveal Engage Salesforce plug-in. We always love hearing people say that they were able to reduce their workload by using Reveal.

Thanks for being a Reveal champion!

  ### 30. Crossbeam is a great tool for discovering mutual opps

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Damien K. | Partnerships Manager Americas, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

I love Crossbeam for discovering opps. It helps build trust within the partner ecosystem and create a network effect of opportunity building. It simplifies the process of sharing lead, opps and customers. (Who wants to see another shared google doc?)

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

There is nothing I dislike about Crossbeam. It is more about how others use it and a reliance on it instead of old-fashioned trust building exercises. The ability to export data has been limited... I get it, it helps hyper focus our expectations and profiling.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is time saving for discovery calls.

  ### 31. Reveal provides great insight and brings value to your GTM-teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Camillo G. | BD and Partnership Ops, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

Reveal provides instant and secure account mapping, great partner overviews, a useful Hubspot integration that enables you to use partnerships data for your GTM-efforts

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

As account mapping tools are rather new to the market, we've had some difficulty figuring out how to best use the data. However, creating playbooks and leveraging the data in a thoughtful way resulted in great insights for the teams.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Drive more pipeline
Insights into our customer base
Insights into our sales pipeline
Insights into the value of a partner
Better collaboration with partners
Identifying mutual customers with integration partners

**Official Response from Clark Gronek:**

> Camillo - so glad that you have been able to take advantage of the Hubspot integration. Thank you for taking some time to provide some feedback.

We know account mapping tools are somewhat of a newer concept so we are always willing to help with the learning curve. Feel free to reach out to our team at any time!

  ### 32. Easy onboarding and amazing support from the CSM team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caitlyn K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

Our team is excited about using crossbeam around partner influence. The implementation was very seamless, and the tool overall is impressive. Enabling the sales team was also easy, thanks to the fantastic product.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

We love everything about Crossbeam; one con is the dupes in the crossbeam on the crossbeam object. The team mentioned they are working on this!

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving partner team more access to other partner data. Enabling GTM teams to use partner teams to assist deal and growing all partnerships.

  ### 33. Streamlined and Effective

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

It's brilliant to be able to see the crossover between customer groups with potential partners.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

It's significantly difficult to find a new connection. There are contacts who say they are in Crossbeam and I can't effectively search for them. I'd like it to be just as easy to connect on Crossbeam as to connect on LinkedIn.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crossbeam helps me figure out which new integrations I should prioritize.

  ### 34. A great tool for those seeking to strengthen partnerships!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott H. | CRO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

It is easy to use and the layout is clean and simple. I can easily connect with known and unknown partners alike so that I can easily grow my partnership network.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

I have not found anything to complain about.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to have insights into the crossover between my organization and those of my partners or potential partners if a formal relationship is not in place.

  ### 35. Best tool there is for partnerships

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

Its a very smart tool where you connect your CRM and then connect with your partners and you share your customers and prospects. You can share whos account managers so its very helpful if you are partner manager.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

like all services it not perfect but there are no specific big thing that I dont like that need be poited out.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me to see wich customers my partners have so if I have a prospect that they have, I can ask for an introduction.

**Official Response from Clark Gronek:**

> Hey Simon, thanks for your review! We always appreciate feedback from users so that we can continuously improve.

  ### 36. One of most important tools

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tai A. | Founder and Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

Crossbeam offers so many tools that we wouldn't be able to find anywhere else. We rely on the data and insights we can gain through the platform to do our job well.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

It took our team a little while to come up to speed with the platform and ayatem, but after that, it was seamless.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Insights within our industry, connection to new markets and a deeper understanding of our partner's and how they interact in the marker

  ### 37. Fantastic account mapping tool for partners.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samuel M. | Partner Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

How easy it is to setup and get started is probably the best thing. Furthermore, the ability to take partnerships to the next level by activating both party's sales teams in an easy-to-use fashion is great.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

Not much a dislike but rather that it is quite a green field project, meaning it is entirely up to the users to get benefit from a tool like this. I had a chat with one of the crossbeam reps and they gave a good rundown

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trying to map accounts across two different businesses whilst staying GDPR compliant (i.e. to begin with, not sharing account names - just number of overlap).

We are still in the very early phases, but I reckon this will be super valuable to us t activate sales.

  ### 38. How to share Sales Pipelines in 1 Step

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Florian L. | Head of Sales, Marketing & Partnerships, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

Features for detecting overlapping opportunities with partners
Reports & alerts
Native connector with Dynamics 365
Very close to their customers

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

Convincing partner to use it ;-)
Could be great to have a feature to share more publicly Sales Pipelines

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing my Opportunities, Prospects and Customers with my partner without having to send Excel files every month.
Having reports & alerts about overlapping records

  ### 39. Best tool to show partnership value in seconds

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ravi V. | Marketplace Business Development, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

I'm a huge fan of how easy it is for our partners to get their customer/prospect populations up on crossbeam and be able to immediately show them how many of their current customers use our platform.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

I have no actual dislikes of the service itself, but if I'm being picky, it takes a while for the exported report to show up in my inbox regardless of how many overlaps there are. And the email just includes a link back to the website. It just feels clunky compared to other export experiences.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crossbeam is solving the mystery of whether or not a data provider will be successful in our Marketplace. They are able to see which of their customers and prospects are already using Snowflake for their data warehousing needs.

  ### 40. Easy to use tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tonya T. | Director, Partnerships, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

It makes mapping accounts with my partners very simple. The UI is easy, and the setup with SalesForce was super simple for me.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

As a subscribing customer I wish I could have data update in my CRM. There is a more expensive package that is a custom integration with SFDC, but it would be nice if there was some out-of-the-box mapping.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows me to have visibility into account overlap with partners so we can have very targeted rep-to-rep collaboration.

  ### 41. A must have tool for partnership organizations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David F. | Manager, Strategic Alliances, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

Native integration with Salesforce - saving countless hours of what would otherwise be a manual effort. Crossbeam allows us to quickly identify whether a partnership or integration has a large addressable market and the potential business impact. Easily helps us prioritize where to spend our time.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

Sometimes the output in CRM reporting can be a bit confusing, but that is mostly due to our CRM hygiene and not necessarily within Crossbeam's control. For example, parent accounts can show up more than once in the overlap report when in actuality, it's a subsidiary of the parent account, but you can't tell.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crossbeam helps us determine the potential business impact of a partnership and allows us to quickly determine the addressable market for a partnership or integration.

  ### 42. Great partner tool with many use cases!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** McKenzie J. | Senior Director, Partnerships, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

The most helpful thing about Crossbeam is its visibility into the overlapping joint customer journey. There are many use cases for Crossbeam, but the one I use most frequently is helping mutual customers understand the joint value prop between the various components of their tech stack. This ensures customers squeeze the most value out of their entire tech stack.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

Sometimes there are discrepancies in the data due to muddy CRM data or domain mismatches. This is not something that Crossbeam controls, but it can sometimes lead to confusion.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crossbeam is beneficial in identifying mutual customers, areas for improvement in the customer journey, and ways we can partner with our partner ecosystem to ensure customers are happy and aware of all that their tech stack can offer them.

  ### 43. Crossbeam Makes Your Job A Lot Easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Larry C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

Seeing opportunities, customers and shared prospects and being able to make and receive logical introductions. It's a huge timesaver and makes everyone look good.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

It's only as good as the data provided by either party. That's not Crossbeam's problem, but it will be yours. Also, there is a learning curve. Navigation sometimes feels cumbersome.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crossbeam unearths otherwise unknown connections that can lead to business deals that may have taken months, if not years, to generate organically. It shortens the business cycle 2-3 fold

  ### 44. Straight forward & secure

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren J. | Partner Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

Crossbeam makes account mapping simple. The ability to grant access on a granular basis allows for secure sharing of data and by integrating with multiple CRMs it helps sales teams collaborate more effectively with external partners.

The Crossbeam team is also approachable and very supportive.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

The Crossbeam UI can be a bit clunky and is not the most intuitive.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crossbeam helps assess whether a potential partner is a good fit from a commercial standpoint as the software gives a snapshot of whether a prospective partner targets the same type of customers and prospects.

It also helps the team plan G2M strategies with partners by showing up to date information without having to manually upload or check new leads and customers with each partner.

  ### 45. Innovation in partnerships collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle S. | VP, Global Partnerships, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

Crossbeam is the industry-leading platform for partnership professionals that combines the manual processes of account mapping into a centralized and automated UI. With Crossbeam, we can spend more time actioning on the data between partner companies and less time on administrative work. Crossbeam lives and breaths partnerships and is building a platform tailored to the profession.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

Reporting and filtering are behind par but understand investments are being made to change that as the platform evolves into the future. Crossbeam is setup with the "partner manager" role in mind but would love to see some alternative profiles to support different GTM models.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Account mapping, understanding partnerships opportunities, streamlining the way we collaborate with partners, pairing AEs together on mutual accounts and pipeline.

  ### 46. Easy to use tool that accelerates sales alignment

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel N. | Vice President Global Partners & Alliances, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

We have been able to quickly identify cross-sell accounts with our business partners and start our co-selling initiaites. It also keeps us updated on changes in account status: like when our Partners win a new-logo.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

Obviously the quality and accuracy of the data being used impacts the results. Some of our Partners describe targets and prospects differently that we do, but even so, a bit of data cleansing is better than the old spreadsheet process.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Who to target with our Partner eco-system. We focus on impactful business combination stories and we are looking for ways to segment the market and target our messaging.

  ### 47. Daxko, LLC appreciates Crossbeam for making it easier to work with our partners!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven W. | Partnership Manager, Daxko Exchange, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

I like that Crossbeam gives our partners a sense of security when sharing customer lists. It's easy to teach someone to use and as soon as they learn how secure it is, they generally don't have an issue sharing data sets. Customer overlap lists are imperative to my role as a partnership manager and I'm thankful the days of vlookups and sharing insecure data are over. I also very much appreciate the salesforce integration.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

The only thing I dislike is that sometimes our partners will only have a limited amount of data to share, for example, a CSV with account names, but no websites or addresses. This can cause some misfires and oversights in matches and causes some confusion. This is probably less of a Crossbeam issue and more of an issue with the data provided by our partners. We have our CRM hooked up to Crossbeam and I always encourage our partners to do the same when they're able.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crossbeam is saving me a lot of time by not having to manage account mapping via spreadsheet. It's also solving for the issue of data security. Emailing customer lists is a no go, Crossbeam solves for that.

  ### 48. One of those products that you see insane value with in 30 seconds

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin F. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

It's super easy to get up and running, and because a partner invited me, I had value out of it within seconds of signing up and connecting Hubspot.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

The only major downside is that some partners have internal procurement processes and are not able to use it right away. This means that for SOME partners, we use Crossbeam, and for some others, we need to do things the old fashioned way.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our go-to-market strategy heavily revolves around joint sales, and Crossbeam helps us instantly figure out hot spots in the market that we can tackle with certain partners. The Slack integration is excellent, and we have it in our external partner channels to spur discussion between our partners and us.

  ### 49. great software, easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie B. | Channel Partner Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

I love being able to use Crossbeam for account mapping with partners. It gives us a starting point to understand which introductions we should prioritize. The salesforce integration is powerful for getting sales/success teams to loop in partners when it makes sense.

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

Not many things I dislike. I wish it was a little easier to modify reports and highlight rows/add a column for notes because I generally have to export the data to google sheets so I can manipulate the format and collaborate with partners.

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crossbeam is helping me account map with partners so we can make introductions for each other. It helps me be more productive instead of having to dig into my CRM data.

  ### 50. Crossbeam is a MUST for Partnerships!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly G. | Partner Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Crossbeam?**

Crossbeam helps me go into conversations with my partners equipped with already understanding where we have overlaps - where can I help them, where can they help us? It's such a time-saver, no more account mapping with spreadsheets, territories and wasting everyone's time!

**What do you dislike about Crossbeam?**

I honestly don't really dislike anything about it, it has been so great to use! I've got a customer success rep, Jake, who I work with if I ever need assistance or want to expand my learning in the platform, he's awesome!

**What problems is Crossbeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crossbeam solves the problem of "hey is this a customer of yours?" "Which of my partners can help me get into XYZ account?" "Which rep at my partner account covers this account?".
