Creo is great software for viewing 2D drawings and 3D models. It's free, so non-engineers can use it without having to have an expensive seat of Creo, and it also allows them to make notes for the engineers. You can build assemblies and test them. Easy to use and fast to hang. Great models in 3D, and also in 2D. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The software is limited in feature set, but it has more than enough features to get you off the ground and running making your cad models.

For Designing in 3D I think the Creo program is very useful. It has been developed to the point that almost any shape can be represented, eventually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The complexity of Creo requires much training to be able to do the kind of work that sets this program apart from low range 3D modeling programs. Hours training and weeks of practice. It is best to learn on the job from colleagues who are experience. The normal training programs are to accelerated; you forget so much from a week of training, because you are not able to assimilate all those options as a new user. Easy to use once learned the basics and fundamental. You can build a complete product in the software before even making the prototype. Not too many bugs to it, it never crashed on me even when inputting a ton into it. I would say the best choice for people to use, especially for professionals in a company Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is very tough to learn for a beginner. Need proper guidance/help. It isn't for low end systems because it becomes slow. Pretty costly for personal use, using for a company is best. There are many options to use so it gets rather confusing and overwhelming because of the variety that you can have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It can be hard to remember where all the buttons are in the beginning. The set up could be a little more organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It has everything you need to make models once you know how to use it. Good drawing systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is not easy to learn, you have to know how to work with it and it is expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
