Top Rated CreativeLive Alternatives
CreativeLive is a unique online learning service in which the courses are taking place live with both studio audience and online viewers. The online audience can interact with the instructor and ask questions live via chat. The chat feature also allows you to interact with other viewers (either about the topic being learnt or in an off-topic chat room).
CreativeLive started as mostly photography centered with a single course over the weekend, and slowly grew and now offers many courses in a variety of subjects such as photo editing, design, music and self improvement.
The courses are free to watch when they are live and they are also re-broadcasted after the course is finished (of course no live questions via the chat during re-broadcast)
You can buy a course which gets you access to the course's video at any time and the course material (many courses have PDFs with summary and additional information)
Courses lengths vary and can be a single day, few days and even a month. Sometimes they hold a Photo-week or Photoshop-week during that week CreativeLive gathers an impressive collection of lecturers, many top of their field, each giving a short course in their area of expertise.
Course's price is dependent on its length, and are reasonable (there is usually a reduced price if you buy it before the course ends) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much to dislike about CreativeLive, it sometimes can be difficult to get your question answered on popular courses, but the moderators do their best and try to get the frequently asked questions answered (in some cases another viewer may answer your question in chat)
Courses hours are daytime in the west coast of USA which may not be optimal for viewers in other countries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how many different classes that Creative Live offers. They bring in big name professionals that are personable and have no problem sharing their wealth of information with people who are willing to learn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing that I personally don't like about it is that there is some adult material (creative nude posing/boudoir posing) that is available to anyone who is logged in to their account. I think that while it is still an art form, there should be some filtering available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
CreativeLive literally offers courses for anyone interested in expanding their creativity and unleashing their full potential as artists, photographers, entrepreneurs, business professionals, musicians or craftsmen. Moreover, individuals who aren't prepared to commit financially to a course can watch live, free workshops from professionals all over the globe. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
CreativeLive charges students per class, rather than per month. While this may benefit those who are looking to target a specific topic, this may be ideal; however, with classes starting at more than $20, taking multiple classes can get pretty pricy. Because CreativeLive charges by the class, rather than a monthly subscription, they offer no refunds on paid classes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My favorite part of Creative Live is the ability to watch content for free. This is amazingly useful for new and small businesses who do not have the budget to buy every class. Additionally, the classes are so in depth and cover to much material. Very well organized. And finally, having an audience that can ask questions (both in studio and online) is another great aspect to using Creative Live for education. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I feel like there have been less classes on Photography, and that's my main focus, but I do find the variety good as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The variety of courses and different categories of skills is something that is pretty impressive. Aside from the known speakers, it's a very good place to learn more about your favorite mentors and how they work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some courses don't really teach you anything. It's a lot of talking and no substance, no takeaway you can put into practice. Some courses are worth their purchase while others are better off just searching for videos on Youtube. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that they offer affordable online classes. Once you purchase a course it is yours to keep. They also offer a variety of classes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't really know if there is anything, in particular, I dislike about it. It is reasonably priced and available right away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The variety is great! So many different types of classes on many different topics with a range of pricing. I feel like I can always find what I'm looking for and find new things I'm interested in. There's also several channels with various live free content streaming all the time, so many times I can watch something for free. The classes are usually very comprehensive, hands on and really beneficial. They also have sales almost all the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the more in depth classes are priced fairly high and out of my price range. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lot's of great subjects with well-known instructors. I like that it is both live and there is a self-paced option also. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Can't think of anything not to like about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the fact that I can get access to the best of the best in whichever field you want to improve in. I'm in the photography field and have been able to learn from some of my favorite photographers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'd say the downside is that the classes take place during work hours, but I know there's a rebroadcast that I can catch most of once I'm off work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can purchase classes on line and watch them on my own time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the classes are quite expensive and force choosing between classes that are affordsble. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The website is very aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate. You can pick which category you want to study and go from there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They should add a technology section to their list of categories. Technology can be used in a lot of ways to foster creative/artistic ideas, which goes along with their brand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
