## CoverageBook Reviews
 ### 1. Updated review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon S. | Radio Host, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2022

**What do you like best about CoverageBook?**

Took a pause from coverage book for a few months and loved all of the updates since I've been gone! Again, having numbers is always a great thing when it comes to clients and understand PR traction. So thankful for how you break it down and make KPI's clear. The upgraded look gives a more modern feel, again, the best bang for your buck out there!

**What do you dislike about CoverageBook?**

I wish you had a monitoring tool that you could add on to alert us when press is written about a client. Sometimes as PR we don't know when people drop articles and it would be nice to have that. Even if it's simple and not as robust as some other's out there--I would not want this feature to be a $$ upgrade either.

**What problems is CoverageBook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows for measurement. Most business owners only understand ROI; with Coveragebook, I can give them REAL TIME data that helps measure success. It allows me to justify my work!

 ### 2. Coveragebook Saves Time with Easy, Automated Reporting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam V. | Account Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about CoverageBook?**

Coveragebook saves time. Agencies can spend so long reporting and creating clipbooks, this automates it and makes it easy.

**What do you dislike about CoverageBook?**

I have had the same issues with Coveragebook for 7 years now, they never been solved. Our team relies on Captions to tell our clients how a piece happened - we sent a sample, writer came on a press trip, result of an in person meeting, etc. When i make new reports (biannual, annual etc) oor recaps, the captions don't move with the clips in the new book, and have to be manually -- time consuming and annoying. Also, i often have multiple clients in the same story, and when the clip is in multiple books it is hard to edit it for each one with a different screenshot, changes are made across books.

**What problems is CoverageBook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CB is better at clipping social coverage across platforms, which is great. Screenshots are better with less paywall issues. The coverage vault/archive seems way better than before. Custom outlets seem less buggy as well.

 ### 3. Love how easy CoverageBook is!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Susan v. | Principal, Public Relations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2023

**What do you like best about CoverageBook?**

It's such an easy way to report coverage AND get important metrics. You are really killing 2 birds with one stone.

**What do you dislike about CoverageBook?**

Wish the solo PR consultant price was a little less and that live help was more available in my Pacific Time zone.

**What problems is CoverageBook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When clients want to see their clips it's amazing of course, but it also can sometimes take the place of other reporting which is a huge timesaver. The books look fantastic and clients love that.

 ### 4. Comprehensive Reports, Easy Sharing, Needs Better Integration

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alvise R. | Communication Specialist Europe

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about CoverageBook?**

I like that CoverageBook is easy to share across different functions of my company. The data it provides is reliable and always useful for presenting comprehensive reports. I also appreciate the flexibility of the subscription, which allows us to upgrade and use the right amount of clippings effectively. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly, making the whole experience smooth.

**What do you dislike about CoverageBook?**

I don't like the lack of integration with SharePoint and the Office Suite. CoverageBook also has issues with missing or not capturing coverage preview images. There's a lack of differentiation between Instagram coverage and online stories, which is another area that could use improvement.

**What problems is CoverageBook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use CoverageBook to collect media coverage, create product reports, and present comprehensive data. It's easy to share links across my company, and the flexible subscription allows the right amount of clippings.

 ### 5. Time-saving, easy-to-use features and engaging reports

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole B. | PR & Marketing Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2022

**What do you like best about CoverageBook?**

I'm old enough to remember when we used scissors and glue sticks to create media coverage reports. There are too many things to love about this platform. It's super easy to use, customizable, and surprisingly affordable for our small agency. We no longer spend hours organizing press clips and digging through various platforms to calculate/covert metrics. We can create beautiful and engaging reports in just minutes and easily share them with clients or new business prospects.

**What do you dislike about CoverageBook?**

There's nothing I dislike about it. As a PR professional, it's always challenging to quantify and present results in a way that is easy for clients to understand. CoverageBook solved that problem for us, so it's worth the investment.

**What problems is CoverageBook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us to quantify results and present them in a meaningful way. It's a valuable tool for pitching new business and justifying budgets for paid and earned media. We also have more time to spend on higher-level tasks and have significantly increased productivity.

 ### 6. Coverage Book filled a hole in our clip report capability

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angie K. | Director, Client Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2025

**What do you like best about CoverageBook?**

The most helpful aspect of Coverage Book for me is the speed at which I can create a professional, comprehensive clip report for my clients. It is easy to use as there are so many helpful features that allow me to use Coverage Book often for all of my clients. Their customer support was quick to respond and helpful with the few questions that I had. For my clients, it is easy for them to integrate into their own company reports as well.

**What do you dislike about CoverageBook?**

Compared to our last software clip program, there is no downside as it is simple to use and it provides a professional product that I am happy to present to my clients.

**What problems is CoverageBook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to use another software for our clip reports for many years. That software went away and was unavailable and we needed to find a good alternative. Coverage Book provided the only alternative that gave us all the features and more of the last software. Coverage Book allows us to quickly and simply provide professional and comprehensive clips reports to my clients.

 ### 7. Streamlined Coverage Collection and Impressive Usability

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lily W.

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about CoverageBook?**

I really appreciate the user-friendly interface of CoverageBook, which makes it easy to learn and quick to pick up on its functionalities. The ability to input links, which then automatically captures graphics and photos, is incredibly efficient. I also love how simple it is to share coverage reports; even those without an account can easily view them. The streamlined process for gathering and organizing thousands of coverage pieces is invaluable for my work. Additionally, the data metrics and the appealing interface, both in editing and shareable formats, enhance my overall experience.

**What do you dislike about CoverageBook?**

I wish there was an option to select and move multiple pieces of coverage simultaneously, like you can in Google Docs or with images in other word processing applications. Currently, I have to move them one by one, which can be tedious. It would be more efficient to have the ability to rearrange multiple items at once in the grid or coverage book.

**What problems is CoverageBook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CoverageBook streamlines the collection of thousands of coverage pieces and simplifies sharing them with a user-friendly interface, eliminating the need for manual gathering and ensuring ease of access and presentation.

 ### 8. Easy coverage reports

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mita S. | Director, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2025

**What do you like best about CoverageBook?**

So easy to upload and create reports - share with clients.

**What do you dislike about CoverageBook?**

Not sure about dislike but would love to have an option to add Google alerts so we can pick up on coverage for our clients.

**What problems is CoverageBook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easier to find detail on our clippings and share with clients.

 ### 9. Straightforward Reliable, and Fair-Priced—Does Exactly What It Promises with no AVE :-)

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about CoverageBook?**

Simple, does what it states it will do - and does it at a fair price.

**What do you dislike about CoverageBook?**

Some of the limits seem a bit arbitrary but that's a minor issue.

**What problems is CoverageBook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making coverage look good.

 ### 10. A fantastic timesaver for PR

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2025

**What do you like best about CoverageBook?**

CoverageBook is easy to use and has only the number of features needed. It does what it does well and without feature bloat. It has most of the publications I target already in the coverage vault, so there is very little customising needed. The 'cutting' feature that pulls in the picture of the coverage generally works well - except of course for sites behind a payment wall. It allows me to present results to my manager and leadership team clearly and easily.

**What do you dislike about CoverageBook?**

CoverageBook would be better if it had an integration with LinkedIn.

**What problems is CoverageBook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves me time so I can prove that I am using my limited budget on getting awareness and visibility for my company. My ability to work as fast would be compromised if I was only working with an Excel spreadsheet and/or Powerpoint for reports. The ability to have a report finished a few days after the end of the month/quarter is a great advantage.

**Official Response from Gary Preston:**

> Hi just an update from August 2025. We now support LinkedIn posts/newsletters if you want to add them to your reports :)
