I dislike the fact that there is no live chat stupport. I wish Admins can get help on the go when needed apart from regular email support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am the program head of Coursera at my university and a professor. I’ve witnessed how Coursera has been transforming education. It offers a wide variety of courses that align with our academic goals by helping students develop skills for the modern workforce. The flexibility of learning helped our curriculum. Coursera’s professional certifications add a lot of value to students' portfolios. The collaborative features of the platform allow tracking students' progress and offer required guidance! Coursera can consider revising the pricing structure for educational institutions, especially considering the large groups of students. Tracking and analytics, at times, lack depth in areas such as engagement metrics, which are vital for customising support to students who may require extra guidance. What I dislike about Coursera for Business is that the platform can sometimes be overwhelming due to the sheer volume of courses available, making it challenging for employees to navigate and choose the most relevant options for their specific skill development goals. What I like best about Coursera is that it helps me to develop and improve my professional growth. It guides me to be a better team manager. It doesn't focus only on learning development but also suggest what training is applicable for you. It is easy to use, easy to search your topic of interest. I use it on a weekly basis since I have a lot of things to learn. Easy to implement and share any recommended topic with others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With Coursera, there are some courses or training that is took weeks to finish or even months. There are multiple sessions in which , at times, it makes me not to finish the course because it is too long. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is self-paced. Generally, in the business world you need to have more flexibility than usual, and I felt that here. Secondly, the courses have been relevant and up-yo-date with their information. I could also implement these at work because of the practical integration steps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While I loved the course, I think coursera could benefit from the variety in which they launch courses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The simple user interface of Coursera along with its vast number of courses avalibility just makes it really easy to implement and integrate into any corporate upskilling or specialization program. The intuitive style of courses makes it really enjoyable to learn or upgrade any skill. I also find myself using the platform a lot more for my day-to-day personal as well as professional development goals. The customer support is very prompt and helpful and quickly owned and solved all my issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a lack of short video contents in Coursera when compared to the likes of Udemy, percipio, etc. Also, we have to enroll in a course, and then only we can go through all the video that the course offer. This format is helpful only for course completing needs not really for a quick brushup or quick problem-solving needs. The deadlines also don't make much sense since we can always extend them. And it would have been better if Coursera left it to the user whether they want to finish a course or just want to hover through or want only watch a couple of relevant videos.
