There is a lot of capabilities and system connections that can be made with Coupa. **What do you dislike about Coupa?** We are still trying to figure out how to configures roles/users so that each user has access to what they need, but not too much. For example, Payment approver/releaser should be able to see the invoices, but not be an invoice approver (and get all those notifications). I know this is all configurable in Coupa, but adjusting these things is taking time. **What problems is Coupa solving and how is that benefiting you?** Payment batches, wires - streams line the payment process. The Coupa representative has been great and very accommodating. I also attended one of their live events in NY and was glad to see the variety of support forums they have for users. **What do you dislike about Coupa?** So far I have not come across anything major. I've implemented and used other major CLM's and milestones/tracking/reporting wasn't great so I was hoping it would be better in Coupa. Imagine each big milestone is entered to track individually and then you can pull a report by study #, or the user, or time period and see them all sequentially...this still seems to be lacking in Coupa and other CLM's **What problems is Coupa solving and how is that benefiting you?** Integrating the data between AP, Invoicing, and Contracts has been one of our biggest challenges and this will now become automated and more usable than it has been to date. ### 17. The Coupa community has helped me grow my own career in Finance and Procurement transformation. **What do you dislike about Coupa?** In order to really measure some of the metrics that prove out the value of the platform, you have to have all of your spend flowing through the tool, otherwise you find yourself blending data across systems. Our sourcing team can help drive cost on the supplies and commodities we consume at varying levels of purchasing volume. The approval workflows help us automatically route transactions so that the right people are brought into the process at the right time. E-invoicing is also helping us automate a large volume of Accounts Payable, which leads to Operating Leverage and the ability to grow in the face of labor market headwinds. ### 34. Coupa has simplified the procurement process and has almost eliminated our paper usage. This is the best system that I've used in my procurement career. **What do you dislike about Coupa?** Coupa does have some downsides. While Coupa has administrative properties, the supplier onboarding forms are not as customizable as we would like. **What problems is Coupa solving and how is that benefiting you?** This has definitely eliminated the majority of our paper usage. It took some learning to figure it all out.
