I like how the interface is really intuitive and we can access and filter data in many easy and different ways. For example, I like how we can filter the data by monthly or one time, add a date filter, and any other necessary filters. The interface is userfriendly and it's not hard to navigate through the available information using the system everyday. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A problem that we have with costar is that you cannot delete a stream line without selecting multiple charges, editing it, and deleting the needed one. The unnaprove, unselect and unexport the charges proccess is also a little complicated to manage. It takes a long time and it is not intuitive at all. Maybe enhancing this proccess could save time for us.
The system could be better integrate as well if we could download reports of the charges available for each real estate company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like most about Costar is that it is a very easy-to-use platform, which greatly facilitates daily work. I find it very interactive and practical. I have never had any difficulty finding what I needed, and I think everything is organized and clear, making it simple and quick. Even for those who are learning to use the system, I see that the way things are presented in Costar makes it much easier. I have had access to other systems, and by far, Costar is the most practical and has the best layout. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only problems I’ve had with Costar in 2 years of use were the times when the system was slow, but it soon returned to normal. Other than that, I have nothing to declare. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about CoStar Real Estate Manager is that it’s an all-in-one solution for contract administration. It excels in processing rent rolls, generating revenue, and lease data reports, and housing lease-relevant files in an easy-to-navigate interface. The dashboard is the most efficient I have ever seen in a real estate admin platform, and I appreciate the ability to customize it down to the smallest details. CoStar is integral to my job, which involves handling COIs in addition to contract administration tasks, and it’s excellent at tracking insurance compliance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some features could use a little bit of updating, but for the most part its just small things. For example, my company focuses on aviation real estate, and we use CoStar to maintain aircraft information, and there are plenty of aicraft models created after 2015 that do not exist as an option. There is no way for me or my team to update this - CoStar has to do it. Additionally, the user interface could use an update. I wish changes automatically applied as they were made. There have been multiple occasions where I fully complete a lease abstract and hit save, just to find out I've been logged out and none of the information I added was saved. I also wish that there was a seperate page specifically for insurance. It is a pain and very time consuming to have to go into each lease manually to update only the insurance information. The most helpful things in CoStar is: The automatic calculation for Sales Tax. Once all the data is correctly set, sales tax are calculated excluding the human mistake in the account. It is really simple to set the data, which don't take much of my time and gives me back a lot of time by not having to calculate everytime a charge in the lease is updated. What I dislike about CoStar, that makes the use of it very difficult is the amount of dates the plataform is really slow and takes a lot of time to do simple consultation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
CoStar is a good tool to work with since it's easy to implement when you have a portfolio of large accounts. Just like some of the data that has a lot of leases, we can use it on a daily basis knowing that the data that we input will be easy for the next person to work with if they're not familiar with the system. I don't think that the early versions of CoStar that I use on some of my work accounts are good. The change in data for contacts could be better compared to the new versions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The system saves us time and effort in preparing our monthly lease amortization journal entries. It has robust reporting for our lease footnote and it is easy to produce the reports according to the parameters I want. The knowledge base articles are extremely helpful. The interface can take time to learn and is not super intuitive. The implementation process was challenging in the sense that our main contact was not an accountant so it seemed there was a disconnect between what we were asking and the answers we received. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is great that we can automatically add a sales tax for specific percentage without having to update every single lease for the tax change. I work in a big account and have several sites that require tax update.
Costar also has several fields we can adjust to make things easier and have the support to implement features needed in our daily use. Sush as filters for the financial tab, we can filter monthly, one-time charges, filter by expense type.
And it is easy to create a new report for every filed you need data from.
My account passed through a system integration from a previous one, and all the data was easilly implemented into costar fields we paid for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to review the expense section per month, we do have the calendar view, however, if there is a one time thing expense there it gets in the way since it sums up to the same expense type if we have another one set as monthly.
Since I use the system regularly I would like to see this change so it can help my analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to pull up the reports and process the charges, and the quick add button helps a lot to save time and make faster inputs. I also like a lot the Stop/Change payments function with the option to create a One-Time Catch-up payment Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When you copy a charge by mistake and click on cancel the charge is saved and this can generate errors, I think this could be changed because even showing us a warning about it is easy to forget. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using CoStar Real Estate Managera few weeks, and I already must say that it has surprised me by the way we can manage properties. I think that it's super user-friendly, which makes it easier to analyze data. There's a feature that I like the most which is the KPi dashboards, that facilitates the process of analyze important data and make decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
On the other way, I find the reporting features a bit hard to customize. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how easy is to make custom reports and all options of filters to make it easier to see the information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I was used to the old interface and I'm still having problems finding some specific options. I would like a shortcut to get directly into the expenses when I choose a lease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
