## CoreMedia Reviews
  ### 1. Agile and reliable platform for customer communications

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel A. | Retention Operations Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2026

**What do you like best about CoreMedia?**

The customer support team really stands out — they are always available, quick to respond, and genuinely helpful. There’s a strong sense of proximity, which makes it easy to solve issues and move forward quickly.
The platform is also simple and easy to use, which makes onboarding fast and allows us to manage campaigns in an agile way. That flexibility is especially important in a retention context, where speed and adaptability make a big difference.

**What do you dislike about CoreMedia?**

One limitation is the lack of a native A/B testing feature. It makes testing and optimization more manual than it should be, which can slow things down.
Also, for some types of campaigns (like response-based ones), we still depend on the support team for setup. Even though they are very efficient, having more autonomy on our side would make the process smoother and faster.

**What problems is CoreMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CoreMedia helps us manage and execute customer communications in a quick and structured way, especially for retention and reactivation campaigns. It allows us to launch communications fast and adjust based on performance.
Having access to performance metrics and reporting is also a key benefit, as it helps us understand what’s working, make better decisions, and continuously improve our campaigns.
Overall, it supports a more agile and data-driven approach, which has a positive impact both on operational efficiency and on the customer experience.

  ### 2. Close and human support: always available and highly recommended

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jaime F. | DIGITAL SALES, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about CoreMedia?**

I greatly value your willingness to help at all times. They are very humane and approachable professionals, and that makes daily work much easier. It's clear that they truly care about the day-to-day and are always there when you need support. Highly recommended.

**What do you dislike about CoreMedia?**

As an improvement, I would recommend simplifying access to your interfaces, as having different profiles for each webcare is somewhat cumbersome. Unifying access under a single user would greatly facilitate management and make the process more agile.

**What problems is CoreMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us to group a lot of information from the different campaigns and to manage the numbers associated with each one. Additionally, it allows us to collect the information from these leads and analyze them more clearly.

  ### 3. Innovative, Stable Platform with an Always Available Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about CoreMedia?**

In addition to the platform presenting innovative solutions that facilitate our daily lives, the team is very professional and is always available to improve the workflows we already have in place or to suggest truly useful improvements. In terms of performance, the platform is quite stable and integrates very well with our systems.

**What do you dislike about CoreMedia?**

I think that, in terms of platform usability, there are still some improvements that could be made. Overall, with the latest update, some evolutions are already noticeable, but I believe it can go further and make the experience more fluid. Integrating AI as a solution for data analysis and platform information would also be very welcome.

**What problems is CoreMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coremedia is able to establish the connection between our public website and the operators' consoles in the contact center, routing calls in real-time and allowing end-to-end tracking of our initiatives in digital channels. It is an added value at a time when data is essential for decision-making.

  ### 4. Simple and flexible platform, with great integration and excellent support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gustavo F. | Executivo de Vendas, Telecommunications, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about CoreMedia?**

The platform is quite simple for daily use, which speeds up the entire service journey of the commercial team. The integration with our website is excellent and allows working with different campaigns and flows without compromising the customer experience.

The support team provides excellent service, always bringing ideas and proposing solutions for the day-to-day. Additionally, we have weekly meetings that are extremely productive.

I like the flexibility to use content items in the most appropriate way, including creating new structures that meet my needs, as well as the ability to retrieve only the necessary information when I need it. Extensibility is also a strong point, with a large number of integrations and plugins ready for use.

**What do you dislike about CoreMedia?**

Due to the time zone, we had difficulties contacting support after a certain time, which ended up being disruptive when we needed help outside of business hours.

**What problems is CoreMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CoreMedia helps us manage and execute customer communication quickly and in a well-structured manner. The platform allows us to launch communications with agility and make adjustments according to performance, which makes it easier to keep actions aligned with results.

Access to metrics and reports is another great advantage, as it allows us to better understand what is working, make more assertive decisions, and continuously improve campaigns.

Overall, this favors a more agile and data-driven approach, with a positive impact on both operational efficiency and customer experience.

**What do you like best about CoreMedia?**

What I like most about CoreMedia is the practicality in daily life, combined with excellent performance. It is a very intuitive tool, which greatly facilitates its use during work and makes processes faster and more efficient.

**What do you dislike about CoreMedia?**

As a disadvantage, I highlight the occurrence of some specific errors that, although they are resolved on the same day, sometimes may have a slightly longer response time.

**What problems is CoreMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a benefit, I highlight the practicality and efficiency of CoreMedia in the context of a call center. The platform greatly facilitates connecting to contacts and quickly viewing customer data, which helps reduce service time and make the process more agile. This simple and immediate access to information directly contributes to increasing productivity and providing a better experience during service.

Certainly, I like the close support, where the support team is willing and really understands our pains and difficulties, working to try to ensure the continuous improvement of the tool. Additionally, the tool is very intuitive.

**What do you dislike about CoreMedia?**

The difficulty with the time difference, as the teams operate in different time zones. This was particularly challenging in implementation. Another point is that the CoreMedia development team still needs to be expanded to create improvements that we see in other tools, but that are not present in CoreMedia.

**What problems is CoreMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CoreMedia helps us understand the operation with information traffic, capturing new clients and acting as Inbound and Outbound CRM. It facilitates data governance in the acquisition and communication processes between sales operations and clients.

I also love the capability to manage and publish content simultaneously on various platforms, such as websites and apps, without requiring any coding skills. This feature significantly streamlines our workflow and reduces the time and effort needed to update content across multiple outlets.

**What do you dislike about CoreMedia?**

Some workflows in CoreMedia are not smooth and require a lot of clicks, making tasks cumbersome. Additionally, there's an issue with the inability to move library windows outside the main screen, which poses a challenge especially for users with multiple monitors. The initial setup of CoreMedia was also not easy, primarily because the platform is not very user-friendly, and the system integrator lacked expertise in the platform.

**What problems is CoreMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use CoreMedia to manage content on websites and apps without coding, allowing simultaneous publishing across platforms, enhancing personalization, and streamlining our content delivery.

  ### 16. A highly customisable platform to support enterprise level businesses

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katy S. | Operations Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2025

**What do you like best about CoreMedia?**

CoreMedia DXP is a powerful and versatile platform that we regularly recommend and implement for our clients. Its scalability and flexibility make it ideal for managing complex websites and delivering seamless multi-channel digital experiences. With a wide range of built-in features, it’s quick to get started, while still offering extensive options for customisation and integration. This balance allows you to focus on advanced functionality, knowing that a strong set of core tools is ready to go from day one.

**What do you dislike about CoreMedia?**

The interface feels a little dated and could be more intuitive, making it easier for users to navigate and complete tasks efficiently. Publishing and unpublishing dependencies can also be challenging to manage. While these dependencies are important and make sense to have in place, figuring out what else needs to be published or unpublished can be time-consuming and sometimes frustrating.

At times, the support service doesn’t feel as collaborative as it could be. It can default to simply pointing us toward documentation, which we would usually review before reaching out for help. The challenge is that documentation often doesn’t take into account how a site has been customised. In these situations, we’re looking for more in-depth support and knowledge sharing to help us work through specific issues and find the best solutions.

**What problems is CoreMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CoreMedia helps us solve complex digital challenges for our clients by providing a robust, flexible platform that supports growth and innovation. With a wealth of built-in features ready to go from day one, we can launch projects quickly while focusing our development efforts on more advanced, custom functionality and integrations that drive real value for our clients.

While managing publishing dependencies can sometimes be tricky, CoreMedia’s structured approach ensures content is handled securely and accurately across different channels. This level of control is crucial for our clients who run complex websites with varied approval workflows.

The platform’s adaptability also means we can tailor solutions to each client’s unique requirements. By combining powerful out-of-the-box tools with custom development, CoreMedia helps us deliver digital experiences that are both efficient to manage and highly engaging for end users.

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about CoreMedia?**

I find CoreMedia to be an exceptionally reliable platform, particularly beneficial in its capacity to configure various templates accurately, which is crucial for my development work. Additionally, its user-friendliness stands out, effectively supporting a diverse range of users, including my colleagues who are specifically focused on website content, despite them not being developers. I appreciate how well CoreMedia integrates with the systems I work on, operating seamlessly as a headless CMS which highlights its versatility in accommodating complex environments. Furthermore, my positive experience is reinforced by the assurance that CoreMedia efficiently manages to hold and deliver content elements to our Salesforce Commerce Cloud instance, demonstrating its significant role in our content management framework.

**What do you dislike about CoreMedia?**

I find the GraphQL area of CoreMedia tricky to use. It takes considerable time and effort to fully understand it, making it a more difficult aspect of using the platform compared to other features. I am uncertain about what specific improvements could be made to enhance this functionality.

**What problems is CoreMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use CoreMedia for holding content elements, providing an easy-to-use platform for non-developer colleagues, and ensuring reliable content management. It's well integrated as a headless CMS, supporting various users and enabling configurable templates.

  ### 22. Handy Tool for Multilingual Websites

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristian D. | E-commerce content manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about CoreMedia?**

I appreciate how versatile and useful Coremedia is, especially for websites with multiple languages. The tool makes it incredibly easy to change locales, and it's seamless to translate while keeping the desired language. The interface, while initially confusing, becomes simple and minimalistic once you get the hang of it.

**What do you dislike about CoreMedia?**

In my experience, this software can be quite demanding on system resources. The performance really depends on the device you are using—while some devices handle it smoothly and run quickly, others tend to lag noticeably.

**What problems is CoreMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CoreMedia manages and delivers content across multiple languages and regions. It simplifies localization by enabling seamless content updates, and locale-specific adjustments. This is beneficial as it helps streamline workflows, improves content accuracy across different markets, and ensures a more tailored experience for users, ultimately saving time and reducing the complexity of maintaining a global digital presence.

**Official Response from CoreMedia Marketing:**

> Thank you for your thoughtful review! We're happy to hear that CoreMedia’s localization features and multilingual support are making content management easier for you. **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2025

**What do you like best about CoreMedia?**

CoreMedia is a versatile and flexible CMS that impresses with new AI-based features and the CoreMedia Engagement Cloud for personalization. These characteristics make CoreMedia a powerful product developed in Germany. The system allows for seamless connection and integration of numerous third-party systems. As a software partner, CoreMedia also stands out for its reliable customer support. Websites for different clients, channels, and languages can be easily implemented within a single system. Particularly noteworthy is the AI-based assistant for editors, which is designed to be very user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about CoreMedia?**

The editors initially need some training to navigate the system confidently. For this reason, online training on the CoreMedia Enablement Platform is recommended.

**What problems is CoreMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For many years, we have been implementing sophisticated projects for our clients with CoreMedia. These involve complex websites that combine multiple channels, different languages, and various tenants in a single system. Additionally, external systems are connected or integrated. Together with CoreMedia, we always find a suitable solution. CoreMedia proves to be a reliable partner, whose systems can be operated both in the cloud and on-premises. The delivery of content is possible both headless and headful.

**Official Response from CoreMedia Marketing:**

  ### 24. Customizable CMS with Flexible Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dario A. | IT Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2025

**What do you like best about CoreMedia?**

I truly appreciate CoreMedia for its flexibility in managing various types of content, which is a crucial aspect for our ever-evolving business requirements. The ability to customize the platform is incredibly beneficial as it allows us to tailor the system to accommodate 'non-standard' content and module requests from our business team. CoreMedia supports us in achieving these demands seamlessly. Additionally, I find the headless approach of CoreMedia extremely valuable; as we transition to PWA technology, this feature is indispensable for decoupling the front-end from back-end technologies, facilitating easier integration across different channels such as our website and apps. The availability and flexibility of the support team are commendable, providing reliable assistance whenever needed.

**What do you dislike about CoreMedia?**

I find some parts of CoreMedia's platform could be more user-friendly for operative users. Certain workflows require a lot of clicks, making tasks cumbersome. For instance, scheduling a single component involves setting up numerous configurations, which could be streamlined. Additionally, there's an issue with the library folder; it can't be moved to another screen, which restricts flexibility. The initial setup was challenging, largely due to the system integrator's limited knowledge of the platform at the time.

**What problems is CoreMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use CoreMedia to support our Digital Content team by creating and managing diverse content types with flexibility and customization options, facilitating our switch to PWA technology with its headless approach, enhancing integration with different platforms.

**Official Response from CoreMedia Marketing:**

> Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad CoreMedia’s flexibility, headless approach and customization options are supporting your content needs. We appreciate your notes on usability and workflows and are continuously working to make everyday tasks simpler and more intuitive.

**Reviewed by:** Thorsten L. | Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2025

**What do you like best about CoreMedia?**

CoreMedia perfectly unites technological and user requirements, offering an intuitive UI for day-to-day users and a solid technological base for your company's IT. It has been designed to allow easy customization and integration with other systems by offering developer-friendly APIs.
CoreMedia has been build to support a "create once and use everywhere" approach for content, allowing its business users to minimize effort required to create and manage their content.
CoreMedia excels in managing content in multi-language / multi-country environments making it easy for small content teams to manage content for large global companies.
CoreMedia offers platform support consisting of trained professionals. Support response times are usually short and problems are solved quickly.
CoreMedia is the perfect solution both for mid-size companies and large global brands who need a single solution for creating, managing and distributing their contents into different channels in different languages for different audiences.
Your business users will love it and your developers will love it, too!

**What do you dislike about CoreMedia?**

CoreMedia does not offer a full Software-as-a-Service solution yet. However, they offer their highly adaptable DXP as Platform-as-a-Service.
The learning curve to fully exploit all possibilities is steep, but once your business user have understood the basic concepts of CoreMedia, they will be able to create and manage content very efficiently.

**What problems is CoreMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CoreMedia streamlines content creation and management processes. It helps minimizing overall effort by focusing on reuse of contents especially for small content teams.
CoreMedia works as a central content platform distributing content to all systems which need it. This helps keeping the messages of our company consistent across all channels and touch points.
CoreMedia can be integrated seamlessly in any existing systems landscapes and just as easily be connected with almost any 3rd party system. This makes it a great fit for our composable architecture approach.
CoreMedia supports both central teams managing content globally and local content teams operating in certain countries or areas of a globally acting company. It even supports a mixture of both.

**Official Response from CoreMedia Marketing:**

  ### 26. Flexible and very stable Enterprise Content Management System

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Markus V. | DevOps-Ingenieur, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2025

**What do you like best about CoreMedia?**

CoreMedia is an enterprise content management system that can be customized to meet individual needs. Especially for high loads and fail-safety, the delivery component of the CMS can be very well scaled and expanded as needed. Within CoreMedia, a lot of open source is used, such as Apache Solr, Nginx, and Spring. Since CoreMedia is based on Java, a lot can be adapted and customized with skilled Java backend and frontend developers. Additionally, the collaboration with CoreMedia is very good and trustworthy. The support from CoreMedia is very competent and responds accordingly quickly.

**What do you dislike about CoreMedia?**

CoreMedia can be well operated on Kubernetes but still has a few weaknesses, especially in the editorial area where components cannot be duplicated because certain components are only allowed to run once.
As a result, unfortunately, complete Blue / Green Deployments cannot be carried out.
The communication between the individual components currently still takes place via the CORBA protocol, which is somewhat outdated. There is already an announcement that this will be removed in future versions.
Since CoreMedia is an Enterprise Content Management System that can be customized to one's own needs, it quickly becomes very complex and time-consuming in terms of familiarization and operation, especially in the administrative area.
Updates to newer versions are more complicated because so much can be adjusted and customized, as one's own changes must be ported accordingly. Here, the flexibility of the system is both a curse and a blessing.

**What problems is CoreMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CoreMedia can provide the content of the CMS both headful and headless without any problems, offering very good flexibility in architecture, structure, and application possibilities. This helps us to store central content elements only once in the CMS and provide them appropriately for various other systems. With a CoreMedia system, we provide different websites, which can also be done very easily. This has the great advantage that there can be a central editorial team that manages content centrally. We operate the CoreMedia Content Management System ourselves, allowing us to implement our security standards appropriately and operate according to our specifications.

**Official Response from CoreMedia Marketing:**

> Thank you for your detailed feedback! We’re glad to hear you value CoreMedia’s scalability, flexibility and open-source foundations. We appreciate your insights on areas like deployments, protocols and upgrades, and we’re committed to simplifying these further in future versions.

**What do you like best about CoreMedia?**

CoreMedia excels for its flexibility, stability, and ease of integration into complex IT landscapes. It combines powerful CMS and DXP capabilities, enabling fast deployment, scalability, and strong performance through an effective caching system. The platform supports diverse operating environments and offers extensive customization options for enterprise needs. Editors benefit from an intuitive interface, real-time previews that enhance efficiency, while developers appreciate its robust headless architecture and seamless integrations with e-commerce and marketing tools. Together, these strengths enable teams to deliver personalized, high-quality digital experiences efficiently and at scale.

**What do you dislike about CoreMedia?**

CoreMedia is a powerful and versatile platform, but its complexity can make it challenging to learn and navigate, especially for occasional users. The modular structure and depth of functionality require significant onboarding and expertise, and customization—particularly in CoreMedia Studio—can be demanding. Performance may slow with large content uploads, and occasional bugs can affect usability.

**What problems is CoreMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CoreMedia is the way used in our Company to manage any editorial content, for example homepages, magazines, campaigns etc.

**Official Response from CoreMedia Marketing:**

The dashboard UI feels old and can be tedious to use from time to time, depending on what you are doing.

  ### 33. Powerful and flexible platform with slight learning curve

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about CoreMedia?**

CoreMedia provides a powerful and flexible digital experience platform with strong features like hybrid headless CMS, personalization, and seamless integrations, which work well for managing complex content and delivering localized, omnichannel experiences. The user-friendly tools for content creators are also a highlight, as they simplify workflows and reduce reliance on technical teams.

**What do you dislike about CoreMedia?**

The downsides of CoreMedia is that its richness of features can make the platform feel complex and resource-intensive. The steep learning curve and need for ongoing technical expertise can slow down adoption, especially for smaller teams. In addition, the total cost of ownership can be high, which may limit its accessibility for organizations with simpler needs or tighter budgets.

**What problems is CoreMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CoreMedia is solving the challenge of delivering consistent, personalized content across multiple channels by offering a hybrid headless CMS, which benefits us by giving the content teams to easily manage and publish content on both desktop and mobile platforms at the same time.

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about CoreMedia?**

Coremedia is a robust system for creating website content and modules. It ensures consistency across our diverse landing pages and regions. Its versioning and content preview features are invaluable for reviewing changes pre-publication. Furthermore, its seamless integration with systems like SFCC and Global Link facilitates streamlined data flows.

**What do you dislike about CoreMedia?**

The interface initially lacks intuitiveness, requiring comprehensive onboarding for users to become autonomous and efficiently locate contributions. Publishing workflows can be slow, involving numerous clicks that could be streamlined. Additionally, new modules frequently entail extra costs on top of an already expensive license.

**What problems is CoreMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to Coremedia, we have the ability to publish our content independently of other contributions, such as e-merch and catalog topics. This offers significant flexibility in our processes.

**Official Response from CoreMedia Marketing:**

  ### 36. CoreMedia: A Powerful and Flexible CMS Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giovanni E. | Sviluppatore front end, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2025

**What do you like best about CoreMedia?**

For editors, the interface is intuitive, with real-time previews and smooth workflows that make managing content across multiple channels simple. For developers, the platform is flexible, with strong headless capabilities and seamless integration options with e-commerce and marketing systems. This combination allows both business teams and technical teams to collaborate effectively and deliver personalized, high-quality digital experiences at scale.

**What do you dislike about CoreMedia?**

Performance at scale: In very large projects, certain operations (like bulk publishing) can feel slower and need optimization.

User interface design: Although functional, parts of the UI could feel a bit outdated compared to more modern SaaS tools.

**What problems is CoreMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CoreMedia helps solve the challenge of managing and delivering content consistently across multiple channels and markets. Instead of relying on separate tools for web, mobile, and e-commerce, everything can be handled within a single platform. This centralization makes collaboration between editorial and technical teams much smoother and reduces the time needed to publish or update content.

The platform’s personalization and preview features also ensure that the right content reaches the right audience, improving customer engagement and conversion. For us, this translates into faster time-to-market, more efficient workflows, and a more consistent digital brand experience.

**Official Response from CoreMedia Marketing:**

> Thank you for your detailed review! We’re thrilled to hear how CoreMedia is helping both editors and developers collaborate effectively. We appreciate your feedback on performance at scale and UI design, and these are areas we continue to optimize to deliver an even smoother experience.

  ### 42. A beast with great customizability

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mikko T. | Senior Software Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2025

**What do you like best about CoreMedia?**

It's a framework, not just a product. It's built on the best modern technologies like Java, Spring Boot, Maven, TypeScript, pnpm and Docker. Almost everything is customizable. Scalability and performance are excellent. It's flexible to integrate to other systems. It's of very high quality. CoreMedia's support service is one of the world's best.

**What do you dislike about CoreMedia?**

Overall it's a rather complex system that takes a long time for anybody to master. Availability of CoreMedia developers and experts might be scarce (depending on country). Customizing some parts of the product e.g. CoreMedia Studio (the content editing tool) can be difficult simply due to the high level of complexity. Standard licensing model is based on number of CPUs, which is less useful when deploying to cloud.

**What problems is CoreMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**
