The DXP platform is flexible and offers a wide range of tools and features. Content access permissions are super helpful when developing for select audiences or for testing purposes. The hooks feature offers event based actions which is great for third-party integrations, error reporting and ecommerce post-purchase events. Development on CoreDNA provides extensive classes and functions allowing you to easily create custom scripts and templates for all aspects of the site. The platform speed is also fantastic on both the front and back ends.

Core dna is easy to use, and you can get the hang of it even if you aren't familiar with using content management systems. I've used my fair share of content management systems (WordPress, Sitecore, Joomla, Shopify, etc), and I was impressed by the user-friendliness, as well as the speed of Core dna. There are a ton of features, if you truly want to leverage the full capabilities of the system it does take some time. The particular business requirements we had were quite unique and thus prevented some challenges with integration to backend systems. Some things are unnecessarily repetitive i.e. being booted back to page 1 each time you make a change to something and having to go back to the page you were working on each time you want to make an update to a product, login, discount etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
