I really appreciate how intuitive and user-friendly the Coram AI online platform is. It was easy to learn, and I became proficient with it very quickly. The weapons detection system is an incredibly valuable addition, especially since our previous system didn’t offer this capability. Coram AI saves me a lot of time when it comes to locating or tracking students or incidents—it’s a major improvement. The Discover tab is one of my favorite features. I can find camera footage just by typing a few keywords, even if I don’t know the exact location. I find the Journeyman feature especially useful for tracking someone’s movements throughout the school building. I like that I can create custom walls and group cameras as needed. This level of flexibility is extremely helpful. Coram AI has significantly reduced the time and effort needed to ensure campus safety, and that’s something I truly value. We have been using Coram AI for several months, and I have yet to find a camera system that is easier to set up. The process is impressively simple: you log into the cloud account, add the IVR, and then either select cameras already on the network or add them by IP address, which is especially helpful when managing multiple subnets. The interface is both intuitive and user-friendly. After the initial setup, I met with our sales representative and their support engineer, who guided me through the interface and helped me fine-tune the settings. Their assistance made the setup process exceptionally smooth. The UI is well-designed, making navigation straightforward and efficient. All data is stored locally, and nothing is shared without our explicit consent. The permissions system is flexible, allowing for customizations such as setting expiration dates on shared videos. We put their gun detection system through thorough testing in a range of conditions—good and poor lighting, indoors and outdoors, and at various distances from the cameras. It consistently detected firearms from 30 to 40 feet away with our current 4MP cameras. False alerts are rare but do happen. Since we get notified directly on our cellphones this becomes a nonissue and allows us to react very quickly.

Since our initial purchase, the experience has only improved. When lives are on the line, every second is critical, and Coram clearly understands this. We have seen noticeable improvements in latency and overall connection speed; tasks that once took 10 seconds now take just 2. They have also recently added EMS to their offerings. Compared to products like Raptor, Coram stands out for its ease of integration, training, and support. From the beginning, they have simply done things better. The UI remains fast, and the settings are logically organized. Integration is smooth, with connections to major sync hosts like Clever.
