Our installation time to get nearly 150 cameras set up was essentially 2 days from unboxing the server to cameras online and organized. The plain text search significantly cuts down our time spent scrubbing video. The personal video walls makes layouts a breeze and the alerts add some comfort to those after-hours activities. Support has also been very responsive in helping us utilize the system to its fullest and any questions are often resolved same day if not within the hour. I haven't had a question go unanswered by the time my work day ends. **What do you dislike about Coram AI?** The only thing we've come across is the view customization of fisheye cameras on the all camera view or the personal wall. I can find camera footage just by typing a few keywords, even if I don’t know the exact location. I find the Journeyman feature especially useful for tracking someone’s movements throughout the school building. I like that I can create custom walls and group cameras as needed. This level of flexibility is extremely helpful. The process is impressively simple: you log into the cloud account, add the IVR, and then either select cameras already on the network or add them by IP address, which is especially helpful when managing multiple subnets. The interface is both intuitive and user-friendly. After the initial setup, I met with our sales representative and their support engineer, who guided me through the interface and helped me fine-tune the settings. Their assistance made the setup process exceptionally smooth. The UI is well-designed, making navigation straightforward and efficient. All data is stored locally, and nothing is shared without our explicit consent. The permissions system is flexible, allowing for customizations such as setting expiration dates on shared videos. We put their gun detection system through thorough testing in a range of conditions—good and poor lighting, indoors and outdoors, and at various distances from the cameras. It consistently detected firearms from 30 to 40 feet away with our current 4MP cameras. False alerts are rare but do happen. Since we get notified directly on our cellphones this becomes a nonissue and allows us to react very quickly. Since our initial purchase, the experience has only improved. When lives are on the line, every second is critical, and Coram clearly understands this. We have seen noticeable improvements in latency and overall connection speed; tasks that once took 10 seconds now take just 2. They have also recently added EMS to their offerings. Compared to products like Raptor, Coram stands out for its ease of integration, training, and support. From the beginning, they have simply done things better. The UI remains fast, and the settings are logically organized. Integration is smooth, with connections to major sync hosts like Clever. Additionally, they comply with Alyssa's Law and follow the Standard Response Protocol. **What do you dislike about Coram AI?** They are giving a very fresh look into the idea of EMS. As such they have a road map of additional items still to add. This company will look completely different in a years time and I am annoyed I have to wait. **What problems is Coram AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** Coram gives you a never tiring set of eyes that can watch all your cameras at the same time. This is huge. You have essentially employed a sudo Robocop overwatching your entire security camera blanket. The Coram app used on phones or tablets mimics the desktop site and is easily accessible while on the go. If you're adding Coram to an existing system, as long as you have all of the credentials for the IP cameras and your network, setup is a breeze and things get up and running very quickly.
