CORA is a great repository and source of truth for managing regular interval deliverables. It has saved time on processing, especially for the PEP, Handover and Closeout. Email notifications are also very useful! (But see below) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Latency --- why does CORA need to think that long? The three bars and the "Save" and "Submit" updates make me feel like I am using my old TRS80!
Also, the Email Notifications are quite helpful --- except why don't they take me more directly into the exact Task/Item I am being notified on instead of a less specific list?
Last, the Schedule Program could use some improvement; it is too rudimentary and not intuitive, especially for more experienced MSP andP6 Users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is user-friendly and self-explained. The interface and the dashboards are easy to read and relatively easy to edit. It makes fun to use it. Please continue to add additional functionalities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
To do the setup for Stage gate meetings is not that good due to many double questions. Furthermore, there should be fields to assign people to tasks. When putting in the Action and Lessons learned points, there are not the right groups to be chsen, f.e. issues in internal processes are missing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A central system so everything we input can be seen by all parties. The only other thing I like about it the large amount of data it can hold without issues. We have hundreds of projects on this site with no load issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
UI feels restrictive and clunky. I feel good excel sheets would be better. I thought Cora would be better for the loss of data, but we had an issue of losing half of the projects for a few days. I cannot see this replacing all documents, forecasts and scheduling. I do not think there is enough customization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Intuitive design and functionality that suits my day to day usage. Not cluttered, easy to look at. Easy search functions. It does not get slowed down like previous sites Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
To revise a file I have to delete the previous version, it would be better for document control if I could select a file, and choose to replace it, and give it a revision history Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the fact that it is much more than just a Gantt chart and scheduling tool. It makes it easy to report out to Management the important information and issues that are happening in the project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be great if the Task List part of the Gantt could be manipulated as easily as, say, an Excel spreadsheet. It can be quite cumbersome to navigate around the Gantt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Live Gantt, live financials, and live risk/issue registers allowing the project manager all the info they need to effectively steer the project towards success. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is an extensive tool that requires discipline from the project team to keep up to date. The tool is intuitive but requires more training and guidance to the wider team to realise its full potential Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Dashboard configurations. They are straightforward to set up and help with the workflow. I can add my labor time and then see the forecast updated instantaneously! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes there is just too much information on the screen. I have to focus on precisely what I am looking for. Perhaps allowing more customization with the fields might make it easier to read. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The most helpful aspect of using Cora is that all the information you need to manage a project is on one platform, including Financials, Risks, Timelines etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Gantt chart function is maybe not as intuitive to use as MSP, especially when adding resources or updating a block of tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
CORA is a fantastic EPMO platform due to its ease of use and the simplistic configuration options available. Most of all, it can easily easily manage portfolios to track status, budget and overall dashboard reporting capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Reporting setup & tracking can take a bit of getting used to but once users get used to it the output is very good... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Built in dashboards - my dashboards as well as portfolio dashboards. Easily configurable to provide details of Project and Schedule health check. Late tasks, late milstones etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the user functionality within the Gantt view could be improved. Inability to save user filters in drop-down menu or save different views in Gantt layout, with different columns shown depending on what you are looking at. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
