"Used Coolsis for grading and attendance at a charter school"

What do you like best about COOLSIS?

Attendance, grading, and messages to parents could all be done with one platform. Could send out mass email messages to all parents, or individual emails to parents to notify of late or missing assignments or events that happened in class. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about COOLSIS?

When creating assignments using the grading feature, assignment names were limited to abbreviations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering COOLSIS:

Benefits were combining attendance, grading, and communication into one platform. Weaknesses were that it took a lot of time to get to know all that it can do. Students could be marked tardy on Coolsis, but that was not enough to make it go through the process properly. Needs more attention to feedback to improve the usability of the product. What problems is COOLSIS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Solved the problem of having to go between windows for different needs. Benefit was having one platform to enter and/or reference all of the student data from attendance to grading. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about COOLSIS?

It has a variety of uses such as attendance, creating purchase requests, and tracking student behavior. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about COOLSIS?

It is not super user friendly. I wouldn't call it unfriendly though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering COOLSIS:

Staff members must be properly trained in using the software. Also, management should regularly check for updates and respond to requests in a timely manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is COOLSIS solving and how is that benefiting you?

It allows our staff members to request payment for purchase requests. This allows accounting to keep track of everything and promotes efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
