What do you like best about CookieScript?

The dashboard is absolutely impressive and easy to understand. This is impressive UX/UI.

The only bad point is the pricing model which is only yearly.

What do you like best about CookieScript?

Easy to implement and the guides are vast in their categorisation. I like that each setting has an explanation and an easy way to find out what each option means. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CookieScript?

The script doesn't play well with browsers at times, with the notification banner not staying hidden after accepting / denying. I also would like a way to exclude sub-domains from showing the banner, which currently isn't possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CookieScript solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are a design and communication agency with many clients (websites). We had the problem that Squarespace - our main platform for making websites, is not compliant with the GDPR regulations. We have been looking into many different Cookie-solutions, but many of them are either too expensive, or does not have the tools that we need. CookieScript is solving this problem for us by having a plan where we can extend the number of domains/websites when we need to, as well as having a plus subscription that is affordable for us and our clients. What do you like best about CookieScript?

CookieScript offers a much more affordable pricing plan compared to Cookiebot, especially for small websites and multi-domain setups, which is essential for us as a marketing agency managing multiple clients.

The bulk domain purchase option is great, with pricing that gets cheaper the more domains you buy, making it straightforward without complicated discounts or commission claims.

Setup is relatively quick—about 15 to 20 minutes per install via Google Tag Manager once you get familiar with it.

The AI help bot is useful for many common questions and issues, saving time on basic support.

When human support was needed, the responses were timely and helpful. Michael from support was especially helpful troubleshooting a tricky issue.

The support team demonstrated patience and good communication, including sending helpful videos and walking us through diagnosing problems.

What do you dislike about CookieScript?

The AI support bot, while helpful for most things, wasn’t sufficient for some specific tool integrations (e.g., LinkedIn Insight Tag), requiring wait time for a human response.

We had a persistent Chrome-specific issue where the consent banner repeatedly reappeared despite user interaction; although the issue wasn’t CookieScript’s fault, it caused some frustration.

Purchase increments for domain bundles are in steps of 10, which feels a bit rigid—offering increments of 5 would provide better flexibility.
