Continu Pros and Cons

A big plus is that Continu allowed us to integrate it with Slack. So every time the HR would post an assignment for us to watch or work through, I would get a Slack notification and would know to go and complete it. The organising of content was too messy. There are just tabs on the dashboard and I struggle to find content that I am looking for. Another challenge is that once you start watching a video for an assignment, the assignment is marked as completed. So the program doesn't really care if you actually finished the video. Continu has an awesome UI. Love how customizable everything is and how easy it is to implement all of your own personalizations to it. If your conmpany has a lot of information, its the perfect way to integrate that data and organize sections into learnable chunks. You can edit, change, create more whenever you need too with straightforward tools and actions. We use this every single day. Its the literal "bread to our butter" as a company that relies heavily on training and policy management!

The only downsides of Continu would be that instead of just the images for the UI (user interface) it would be nice to have a list of articles in the personal database vs just the images of the articles show up. I really like that sepcific programs can be accessable at all times so you can use your downtime to continue learning more about your position, company, or new ways of working.

I like that programs can be assigned for you to complete with a deadline attached.

I like that this creates a hub where people within the organization can go to seek more training when they have the time to allocate to that training.

Continu courses make sure that employees stay up to date on their training throughout the year. They're courses are user-friendly, great features, easy to navigate, and effectively track employee progress throughout the course. The courses are regularly updated to maintain relevant information. I found this to be one of the best corporate training programs available within our organization as we continue to use training courses monthly. Customer support is always available as needed. Continu courses provide valuable and relevant training, but some courses tend to be too long and content is repetitive. I would find it beneficial if our courses were tailored to our organization’s specific training needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The system is simple to maneuver through, yet it has a lot of functionality. It is very easy to upload content from LinkedIn Learning or a Scorm file. I love how we can have many different Creators adding content. I also like how the same course/learning path can be copied and used by our affiliate companies using the same platform. The lack of sort function on its analytics can be a disadvantage to admin users. And the removal of the customization of scores for multiple correct answers in the assessment is a turn off. If I assign a course or assessment to a list of people, it doesn't have an admin feature on who hasn't taken the course/assessment so I can easily follow up.
