There is also always plenty of work available, which is great if you want reliable income. Payments are also on time and sent every two weeks through PayPal. The system is easy to navigate (minus the comment board), and you get plenty of alerts any time work is offered to you. **What do you dislike about ContentWriters?** CW hasn't raised pay rates much in the six or so years I've worked there. Jobs are flat rate, but most jobs still pay equal out to $0.07 a word, which isn't competitive with standard rates and is best suited for writers just starting out. The editor/proofreader pay is just abysmal - I think it's $6/$4 an assignment? So I'd recommend that role to no one. Also, many clients have an extended approval period, but as writers, we aren't told about this upfront (or ever, unless we ask). This means it sometimes takes two months to get paid for work. **Recommendations to others considering ContentWriters:** ContentWriters is great for anyone looking to start out as a freelancer. Jobs are plentiful, pay is consistent, and you'll get a ton of experience working on different types of projects in different industries. If you're a seasoned writer who's used to making $0.15 a word or more or want a hourly rate, I'd probably avoid CW, as there aren't a lot of higher paying opportunities. **What problems is ContentWriters solving and how is that benefiting you?** ContentWriters offers writers consistent work with a variety of clients. They were all such lovely, good-natured people who did a great job of serving as "go-betweens" for me with their clients. I also appreciated that over time I was able to build a trusting relationship which made communication very easy and open. **What do you dislike about ContentWriters?** The main drawback I encountered with Content Writers was being given too many jobs that didn't pay enough for the time I put in--HOWEVER, I know for a fact that what I consider "not enough" is still much, much better pay than the hundreds of content mills and freelance jobs out there that work writers to the bone for very little compensation.
