**What do you like best about ContentWriters?**

Easy-to-use interface—very easy to put all of the information you want to share with the writer in one place. They do all of the work of pairing a writer based on the subject matter. The revisions are very flexible and can all be requested online through their portal.

**What do you dislike about ContentWriters?**

Nothing yet! So far I'm finding the quality of the writing to be great quality.

**Recommendations to others considering ContentWriters:**

Definitely talk to them about the subject matter and expectations to make sure it's the right fit for you. They do have a wide variety of subject matter writers, so I think you'll find they have the right fit for you.

**What problems is ContentWriters solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work primarily on SEO and am always looking for high-quality writers to support my work. I tried for many months leveraging AI and just about every AI content writer, but ultimately I'm finding their truly is no replacement for a human writer at this time. ContentWriters did a great job matching the right writers with my subject matter, quick turnaround, and reasonable prices.

The rapport, friendliness and timely communication!! Once we were on the same page about the process, our expectations, likes/dislikes, CW was a well-oiled machine that was pumping out content.

**What do you dislike about ContentWriters?**

You have no direct line of communication with the writer (over a call, for example), so that took some time getting used to but not a major issue if you have a good account person.

**Recommendations to others considering ContentWriters:**

I'd recommend CW to anyone looking for a reliable content provider, especially in the lifestyle category (cannot personally speak to others but I know they are well-staffed). What differentiated the CW team is that they remain curious and educate themselves on the novelties in the industry. I'm an SEO specialist and it's always a pleasure when writers ask questions proactively and want to know more about organic optimization of content. That certainly was the case with Emily and the CW team.

**What problems is ContentWriters solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The CW team helped us with content creation of various formats across industries but mostly lifestyle. Our requests were varied but they were always extremely accommodating & opened to feedback.

**What do you like best about ContentWriters?**

What I like best is when they give me steady work. However, this does not happen anywhere near as much as I would like.

**What do you dislike about ContentWriters?**

The main downside of using CopyWriters as a freelance writer employed by them is that they don't give me steady work. I was hoping to get a lot more work from them when they initially hired me. Regretably, that has not proven to be the case. Often, several weeks or more will go by without me hearing anything from the platform.

**Recommendations to others considering ContentWriters:**

There's nothing really objectionable about ContentWriters, except for the lack of steady work. If they hire you, that's fine, but don't expect to be able to support yourself solely through them. You might get hired by them and use them as an option along with several other platforms and clients. That's the method I've established that seems to work best for me.

**What problems is ContentWriters solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have worked as a freelance copywriter for ContentWriters for several months now. They sometimes give me assignments for clients. When I get an assignment from them, they tend to pay fairly well.

Different topics you can apply for, pays when they say they will. Pay is decent, better than Upwork or Fiverr's going rates.

**What do you dislike about ContentWriters?**

Often times it feels like no one's really paying attention to the writers. Getting OK'd for another niche gets put on hold for months, projects don't get approved unless you follow up weeks later.

**Recommendations to others considering ContentWriters:**

It seems like a better infrastructure or oversight on the current infrastructure is needed. Projects go silent for weeks without movement; no one seems to be approving or rejecting writers' applications for new niches. While everyone I've ever spoken with has been polite and friendly, there's very much a feeling of "oh, right. Sorry, we forgot!" every time I reach out.

I'm a freelance writer so it's great to be connected with a service like this that offers a variety of niches and pays better than a content mill.

I love that our account manager, Sarah, makes the process so easy! She is responsive and serves as a project manager for us, and we always get great content. We've had over 50+ blogs written by content writers, and only ONE had to be re-written a few times. The writers are talented and deliver exactly what we need.

Sometimes there are gaps in industry knowledge since we're a very niche market.

The rates available for projects are (at least to my eye) rather low, suitable for entry level writers or non-native English writers. They are not appropriate for an educated, experienced, professional English or American writier.

I like that making comments within the document is so easy.

I don't like that ContentWriters doesn't allow me to filter multiple types of documents at once. While I can filter certain categories, it won't let me do multiple categories to group a desired list of documents.

ContentWriters allows me to review several documents in an organized fashion, setting it up like a to-do list that I can knock out fairly quickly.

They pay much better than other content agencies I've worked with.

Sometimes the assignments get repetitive which makes it hard to be creative. There can also be long gaps between assignments. It's not really Content Writers's fault, but it's still a little annoying.

Have a good resume and make sure to upload your best writing samples!

Content Writers finds clients who need content and then match their needs to one of the writers they have on deck. This is helpful to me because it means I don't have to spend a lot of time pitching or marketing my services. I can just do the part I like best: the writing.

I like how CW does the scouting/prospecting work for you and provides a group of qualified writers to work with. It saves our small, in-house content team time from doing that.

In my experience, it can occiasionally feel like the writers do not take the time to learn about who they are writing for or their typical tone and style.

ContentWriters allows us to access a large group of qualified writers who are able to produce content much faster than we would be able to in-house.

I really don't have much to complain about when it comes to ContentWriters. All of our complaints/issues (with writers) along the way have always been addressed quickly and to our satisfaction.

ContentWriters is a great way to connect our business with knowledgeable, skilled writers without us having to go searching for contractors.

They met the deadlines as well as kept a vigilant lookout for key focuses our team had requested. Cyre was very instrumental in keeping our articles focused on key areas our team had requested.  Cody helped at the start of the 12 month contract providing direction, good expectations, and things to keep in mind during our time with them.

**What do you dislike about ContentWriters?**

I do wish they had an option for under a 12 month contract.  Even just a six month contract commitment would make it easier for our team to hire them again.

**Recommendations to others considering ContentWriters:**

Yes, I would recommend ContenWriters (CW) to anyone.  Keep in mind that setting aside time at the beginning is necessary for you and your team to work with CW in specifying the direction you'd like your articles to follow.

Cyre and Cody both helped provide solid blog article writers for our projects.

The editors respond quickly to questions and comments from their writers.

**What do you dislike about ContentWriters?**

Sometimes using a commonly used definition that you will see on many different websites (eg a universal definition or otherwise) may initially be considered plagiarism so writers have to be extremely cautious to change even generally accepted definitions to different wording.

**Recommendations to others considering ContentWriters:**

Always ask a question and assume nothing.  Also note that some clients have multiple in-house reviewers and their opinions may clash or not be consistent which makes editing your work a challenge and this needs to be pointed out.

**What problems is ContentWriters solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Some of their clients use alternative software that does not integrate well with Content Writer's site.

**What do you like best about ContentWriters?**

I love the niches I can choose and find they pay better than many other clients. The topics are by far my favorite aspect of CW and the flexibility in rejecting assignments.

**What do you dislike about ContentWriters?**

I wish assignments were given earlier, but this is a minor qualm. Some managers are not great at replying via email, but also only a small issue. I wish there was more work, but I know that depends on many factors.

**Recommendations to others considering ContentWriters:**

It's not enough to support you on its own, but they're one of my favorite companies to write for, and the pay is better than many other copywriting sites.

**What problems is ContentWriters solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many of my other clients send me a range of work, from boring technical stuff to wonderful lifestyle pieces. But CW only sends stuff I like which makes my work far more enjoyable.

They are easy to communicate with and have great customer support.

**What do you dislike about ContentWriters?**

Variability on projects. Sometimes a certain writer will write in one tone while another is in a different tone.

I love the remote nature of the work and its pseudo-on-demand projects. Personally, I loved the Codecademy projects that were offered to me. It was a great learning experience in comp. sci., a subject I'm deeply interested in. 
Due in-part to my work with ContentWriters, I have been able to find other freelance and full-time work. So, I am sincerely grateful for the opportunities provided to me by this service provider.

East coast deadlines were tough for me (residing in PST). Although looking back, I may have made the deadlines harder on myself because I wrote in a very formal style for casual blogs, resulting in a reduction to my workflow and pace. Also, I maybe had taken on projects that were a little out of my depth of expertise. 
The projects that were offered to me in my educational background (life sciences) did not interest me. For this area of writing, I am better suited for scientific reporting/peer-review versus B2B and B2C-styled writing.

The main upside of Content Writers compared to other content platforms is that they seem to attract quality clients who are willing to pay for good work, versus many other platforms where clients only want to pay the bare minimum. The editing is helpful and fair also.

The main downside for me right now is that they don't have a ton of work in my niche, which is automotive, but your mileage may vary. They might have a ton of work in other niches.

I love that I get to use my expertise to write for different companies and publications that would otherwise be difficult to reach as a newbie. Also, the pay is very reasonable.

There's not much to dislike so far. Maybe the changes with the website can be a little confusing at times but that's about it. And sometimes the drafts can lack information.

You never had to accept a writing task, which made working on my own schedule much easier. I travel a lot, so it allowed me to work without having to give that up.

I wish there had been an option to take on more work so that when I had the time I could write more. Having a vacation mode also would have been useful so that I could make it clear to editors when I was unavailable before they sent me work.

It's a great way to build your portfolio if you're just getting started or if you're looking to make some money on the side. I wouldn't recommend ContentWriters for writers looking for full-time work.

Contentwriters.com has helped us scale our blogs beyond what a one-person team can do. In the coming months, we'll be putting their writers to the test and see how deeply they can write on certain topics. Overall, I think this is a great service if you're looking to create solid high-level content.

**What do you like best about ContentWriters?**

They're responsive. Whenever I've had a question or planning a series of content, I've been able to reach out ahead of time to get feedback and know if there are any limitations to what I'm trying to achieve. Second, sometimes I'm in a brain fog and out of ideas. The "topic pitch" feature has allowed me to bring in other minds and get new topics pitched to me. And, more often then not, I end ordering my original piece plus what they've pitched to me. Most recently, they've made an upgrade which streamlines this process of allowing me to create a new job request from the pitches. This makes things much easier. It's a win-win!

**What do you dislike about ContentWriters?**

We have a very niche audience (said every marketer that has ever existed), but this happens to be very true in my case. My audience is already highly educated in their field, so trying to create engaging content can be a challenge since they already have more than a high level understanding of a lot of concepts. This poses a challenge for ContentWriters as they're best suited for a lot of high level/top of the funnel content. 

As a marketer, I've grown weary of the "X Top Tips for..." that now flood the internet. I'm not certain the writers have enough experience in computing research and technology to dive as deeply as I need them to. This will be a problem for any vertical that has a very technical component to them.

**Recommendations to others considering ContentWriters:**

Despite not always being able to go deep enough, I still appreciate and utilize the content created through ContentWriters. Knowing what I know now, I make adjustments and use this as a tool to move things off my plate so I can focus on the nitty gritty that can't be accomplished by someone who is outside of our company and audience. I'd keep that in mind for anyone that works in tech, healthcare, or anything that  lends itself to nuance.

**What problems is ContentWriters solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've been using ContentWriters for almost a year now and some of my top performing posts come from articles written by ContentWriters. This has allowed me to scale my blog content efforts and free up my time to focus on other inbound areas that need my attention.

Very low pay and sometimes the comments from editors were rude.

It's an OK place to get experience writing but the pay is low.

I wanted more opportunities to write and this gave me a place to do so. However, the pay was pretty low in comparison to other writing work I've had. In addition, I didn't know I was hired as a ghostwriter, so I never saw my work physically published anywhere.
