One point it could have improvements is the way object fields works as facets.

for example if I have different prices for different countries and I store this in a price object with the country code being the key, I would expect to send a facet like `price.US`, but we need to send just `US` and this could conflict with other metadata. Constructor excels at delivering personalized search results based on our user activity. It understands customer's intent rather than just terms, substantially simplifying our customers' product discovery process. I’ve been really impressed with how Constructor handles search and product recommendations. It actually learns from user behavior and adjusts results in real time, which has helped us boost both engagement and conversions...... The only real downside is that it takes a little time to get used to the platform. Some of the setup around ranking rules and reporting isn’t super intuitive at first, so there’s a bit of a learning curve..... But once you're in the flow, it’s pretty smooth. There are so many things I love about our Constructor partnership! Our Constructor team partners are always readily available to trouble shoot any issues that arise and help come up with solutions for our business. Constructor.io (CIO) allows us to retain full control within our team for merchandizing and operations of the site while providing an excellent baseline experience with in-session personalization. The consumption of the clickstream to train the model for Search is easy to integrate and drives powerful results. The support is responsive and partnering both during the implementation and during the day-to-day operations.

The SFCC integration via CIO-provided cartridge is actively-supported by the CIO team and allows us to both benefit from that ongoing maintenance as well as customize for our specific needs.

The API-first approach allows us to integrate the key functionality into the customer experience as we see fit and supports powerful reducing functionality to limit the transmission weight for clients.
