It is quick and simple to use, plus there is a large community and a tonne of plugins available. Enormous control over the characteristics the browser transfers to your created games is made possible by the visual language. I've created almost thirty games. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have no complaints other than those about mobile export. There is an opportunity for improvement with the drawing tools. When you initially start the program, it can be a little confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform is excellent and easy to create or edit 2D files, prototype and test new game mechanics and concepts. Setup is so simple , All you have to do is open the website, sign in with your account and start making games without any installation or programming. What I like the most in this application is its ability to allow you use animations and lots of integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Do not criticize Construct 3 because they are a tremendous help in developing various types of games. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It comes with an inbuilt power tool and an easy-to-use user interface which provides all the necessary features for game development. I can advertise my games on the Internet. The engine is cheaper than rival engines for developing video games. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The process of designing games will give you less flexibility to change things due to a built-in game editor. The feature is not very convenient for complex models of characters and has long runtimes. It was easy and fast except for these. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how easy it is to use Construct. It makes it extremely user-friendly to start a project quickly, and the programming through boxes instead of actual code is great for me who hates coding. I like the logic behind it, but not actually writing code. The visual aspect of this programming approach is great. There's good community support and a very active team of developers (for the engine itself), with regular updates and bug fixes. Very easy to keep the game structure organized/boxes/program. Great UX/UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The manual could be way more detailed, and some of the features could be improved (and new features could be included more often), however, I understand that the team is not huge and it still does a great job addressing the community's concerns. I wish there were even more tutorials online, but it's natural that engines with bigger communities are better at that (Unreal Engine and Unity, for example). I never used the recently developed 3D mode, but it's interesting to see they are developing it. I wish it was better performance-wise, particularly with some features and effects (some effects are extremely costly for CPU and GPU even if you use them carefully). a little difficult to apply complex logic, because it uses visual programming Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Construct has a great search engine and designing features. I think it is very good for learners of game development and is easy to catch up to. I really like that you don't need to have any initial coding knowledge to go ahead and generate games. It also has great documentation provided and examples for platformers too. I have had some issues with lags during the game development process, but the support team was very nice and helpful about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ease of use and deployability of builds across many devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the worst game engines out there for programmers. If you're a programmer you're going to hate it. Extremely limiting and has the absolute worst documentation on the planet. This is only for temporary projects or prototypes. Do not try to build anything large scale or important with this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I know that a lot of game development softwares require a complicated setup, and a lot of prerequisites and space. Construct.net has a very easy setup and you can also make the best use of steam. It has great drag and drop options through which you can customize your games and one of the best features is that it does not require you to write hundreds of lines of code to develop your game.
It works really well on different browsers and has a lot of pre-provided solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much to dislike; I have absolutely enjoyed creating games for my students as a form of arcade quiz, some therapeutic games etc. The quality is not the best and the options are a bit limiting for creating the games, but it definitely fulfills the purpose. Really easy to develop innovative drag and drop games through Construct. The biggest plus is that you don't need years and years of coding experience to make the best use of this. The range of the behaviors is great as well, and including it has definitely made the job easier. Overall, it's great for simple games. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Does not provide a lot of platforms on which you can release your games. Also, the in-game descriptions aren't descriptive enough. You will not be able to use it to create complex games. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Really good place to create 2D games, which are primarily non-code based. It is easily available on Steam and is fast to pick up and understand. The personal edition is well prices. One of the best things is that is that they have built-in solutions for certain problems you might encounter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You can't really create more than just simple and straightforward games. The graphics can be improved as well, and it is not very fast as compared to native code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
