  ### 1. Immediate Value Add: Scaled Job Matching with a Clean UI and Unmatched Support

**What do you like best about Consider?**

Consider is an immediate value add to an organization with a job placement strategy. We can apply our areas of expertise (knowledge of the potential hiring placements in our market and the job skills) to the tool and increase the roles presented to our membership dramatically - from 50 manual roles to 2500+ automated. 

The user interface is clean and easy to use and the back end analytics tools are exactly what we need to monitor performance. The use of scraping in the jobs field is necessary and Consider is able to actually access LinkedIn records. As an organization that was data rich but poor in scaled insights in talent matching, this tool is the only path we've found to realizing our strategy of matching our members to high impact roles in government and advocacy organizations. 

Most importantly, the customer support is outmatched. We are a new industry for Consider and they've worked with us to customize the algorithm, create easy data flows to our internal systems, and add features to the product. This more than pays for itself as the manual completion of this type of work (with far less scale) is a headcount. 

We like the product and the team so much, we are actually building an additional version for an even more tailored audience.

**What do you dislike about Consider?**

I don't have anything I dislike about the tool. It is built to learn industries so even when career matching is tricky due to the nuances of the government and non-profit sectors, the tool is well-built enough to learn and the Consider team is effective enough to make refinements that are immediately effective and meet our needs.

**What problems is Consider solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a whole team working on sourcing, adding, and matching roles within our old job board and we had separate processes that were inefficient for talent matching with a membership base clamoring for job support. Immediately, Consider has reduced the number of people we need working on the task of talent matching, produced a job board the meets the diverse needs of our membership base, and provides the infrastructure for a monetized talent matching service that we've needed for partners. It has both reduced costs and opened potential revenue streams.

**What do you like best about Consider?**

I appreciate Consider's real-time feedback on portfolio companies that are hiring, which updates to our website accordingly. It allows us to know who's hiring and what positions are available in real-time, so I can administer recommendations for hiring needs. Setup was super easy and very low lift.

**What do you dislike about Consider?**

I wish I could get more notifications versus me having to actively seek out who's hiring. It feels like it takes more of my initiative rather than reacting to something new. An email alert would be helpful to notify me of changes that I need to address internally since not everyone visits our website regularly.

**What problems is Consider solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Consider for job portfolio hosting on our website. It provides real-time feedback on which portfolio companies are hiring, allowing us to update our website easily and make recommendations without needing to ask founders directly.

**What do you like best about Consider?**

We like having a single point of contact to communicate with whenever we have issues (which is rare) or need changes to our job board. The Consider team is very responsive and helpful!

**What do you dislike about Consider?**

We find it awkward that the Job Board page on our website isn’t fully within our control. That said, the Consider Team responds quickly whenever we need changes or updates—especially for things we can’t figure out how to do ourselves.

**What problems is Consider solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’re a VC fund with many portfolio companies that are actively trying to fill roles, and Consider’s Job Board has been a great resource for them. We’re glad to be able to offer this service to our companies.

**What do you like best about Consider?**

Consider is a great landing page for anyone interested in our venture capital firm and our portfolio companies. It provides an accessible way for individuals to engage with our talent network and community and provide their information back to us for communication about new job opportunities. Then we can utilize the communication feature to make direct outreach with the candidates who indicated interest, and we have the insights that Consider generated about their profile to provide us with additional information. The customer success and technical support teams have been incredibly and helpful and flexible with our requests and modification requests.

**What do you dislike about Consider?**

There is some manual updating on the backend with jobs that are older that have to be reviewed and removed occasionally.

**What problems is Consider solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consider is saving our talent team time to engage with and identify the right candidates for our portfolio companies. Consider is providing our portfolio companies an opportunity to market themselves and increase awareness in the community.

I like the filters it has, helps us refine candidate searches fast.

**What do you dislike about Consider?**

Needs a semantic search feature. Would like to be able to enter specifics from the founder or a job description and get candidate matches back with no manual work.

**What problems is Consider solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consider is an easy-to-use platform and a good fit for us as a small fund. The job board is an essential part of our website and pieces together all positions available in the portfolio in a single page.

We help founders with searches but don't extend ourselves to run full recruiter services. Consider is useful to us as a data repository for candidates past and present, and the filters it has are comprehensive. I'll receive a job description from a founder and be able to navigate the platform to find eligible candidates based on skill, seniority, tenure, location and expecations.

The founder Ralph is also very active on customer support calls which we like. The rest of the customer support team has been responsive as well.

**What do you like best about Consider?**

I appreciate the convenience of Consider, particularly its clean UI/UX and ease of use. The simple interface makes it very intuitive, and it’s especially helpful for aggregating roles across our portfolio companies, as the platform automatically scrapes and consolidates job information.

Our account manager has also been great — responsive, proactive, and genuinely helpful in working with us to find solutions.

**What do you dislike about Consider?**

Nothing major overall, but one area that could be improved is Consider’s Talent Network.

While the Talent Network is conceptually strong, in practice we didn’t generate as many leads as expected. It may be helpful to explore additional ways to sync with other talent databases, or to increase its external visibility (e.g. through LinkedIn or other channels), to drive greater reach and engagement.

**What problems is Consider solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing real-time visibility into job opportunities across all 30+ of our portfolio companies, as well as roles at MHV itself, through a clean and intuitive UI/UX for candidates actively looking for opportunities.

The key benefit is the ease with which candidates can discover and apply for roles directly via our website, powered by Consider.

I find Consider fairly easy to use with a simple interface, which makes it convenient for aggregating jobs from my portfolio companies. The customer service is excellent, and they were very good at helping me set up by adding my list of companies to my instance. Their support team makes it easy for me to continue adding more companies through a ticketing system as I grow, which I really appreciate.

Initially, they were very responsive and worked to tweak their service to fit our needs.

**What do you dislike about Consider?**

We provided over 30 days notice before renewal (via email) to cease business relationship, but Consider ignored our request and eventually asked us for renewal payment.

Twice, we explained to them (via email) that we ended our business relationship and they should cease the scraping work. Both were ignored. Consider sent the bill to collections and continues to ghost us when we attempt to interact with them via email. Note: I am happy to provide email receipts to G2 moderators, if they are interested in verifying this information.

I've really enjoyed working with the Consider tool and team. It's super easy to use, plug and play from our end to keep management super low, and impact hight. I can easily see analytics, promote roles, and more. Also, the whole team is so friendly and really want to set their clients up for success.

**What do you like best about Consider?**

I leverage two primary features - aggregate job board internally and the LinkedIn Talent connections. While we do not post our job board externally, it is always up to date and easy to add new companies. Having a centralized place allows me to share roles quickly with candidates. 

My most used feature is the Talent connections. Everyone at our firm has synced their LinkedIn connections with Consider. I am then able to source from our own connections. We have used this for candidate introductions and due diligence on potential investments. I leverage this feature almost daily.

**What do you dislike about Consider?**

No real complaints. I wish the product automatically synced LinkedIn contacts but that is a nice to have.

Visibility into open jobs across portfolios and talent connections.

- Whenever I interact with the team, the response times are extremely quick and helpful
- Ability to "hide" companies from the public facing job board which comes in handy when you're tracking portfolio companies and not all have publicly announced their raise(s)
- We designed a custom board and were impressed with their engineering team's attention to detail to execute our design

There are a handful of features that I hope will soon become self serve instead of requiring me to contact customer support. While it's not instantenous via support, their support team has been fast to respond.

Consider's platform has been a game-changer for sharing open roles with our portfolio companies and others in our startup ecosystem. Automatically posting jobs to our board makes it easy for job seekers to learn about new opportunities and stay engaged.

Also, the team has been super helpful in getting our board up and running and open to feedback, changes and features that we think would be helpful.

I haven't experienced many negatives with Consider. I would like to have access to more robust and customizable analytics, but the team at Consider consistently rolls out updates and continues to improve and grow these features.

We are a VC firm and we use Consider to aggregate job postings from across our portfolio of companies. Every company has a slightly different way of publishing jobs, but Consider is very flexible and accomodates this without any issues. 

The best part of Consider is that allows me to focus on the core areas of my role and not haave to spend a lot of time on this area.

No real downsides encountered so far. All issues so far have been very minor and their customer support alleviates them almost immediately.

Consider.com has been a game-changer for our recruitment journey.

Software is intiutive and seamlessly integrates a job board and a talent network, making it incredibly easy to discover outstanding candidates. 

Design is awesome. 

The search feature is particularly impressive, more filters and option than linkedin recruiter. 

I also love the sequences feature makes it so easy to communicate with candidates, ensuring timely and personalized interactions that significantly enhance the recruitment experience. 

This platform has not only streamlined my workflow but also elevated the quality of my candidate pool. 

Lastly, shoutout to Shane and team on the customer sucess side. Answers to questions have been timely and top notch. 

Defintiely recommend Consider.com to anyone looking to optimize their hiring process with some great  tech and excellent customer support.

Hoping they keep developing the feature/product roadmap at a healthy pace. that was one of the resasons we went with them over getro.

Consider is a no brainer! It automatically aggregates open roles across our entire base of 200+ portfolio companies. The entire product is super easy to navigate as the UI is clean and intuitive. Furthermore, the Consider team made the migration seamless and they continue to support us in any adhoc requests. I couldn't say enough good things about their customer support. Consider is by far the best talent solution for any VC.

I do wish Consider had deeper / more customizeable reporting though I know this is something they're working on.

As the organizer of a large global tech startup community, I needed a solution for a job board that could offer our site visitors a 1-click job search across hundreds of our member companies. Consider does that perfectly, without any work on our part, and with a delightful user experience designed seamlessly into our site. The team, all the way up to the CEO, is very responsive and professional.

Only downside is that it is an expensive solution.

Consider is super easy to set up and their customer success team is great, meaning any issues are resolved quickly. The board looks good on our website with our style and we are aware of many candidates that have discovered roles via our page. It requires very little maintenance.

**What do you dislike about Consider?**

Very little. 

The white labelling works well within our existing stype but it's not quite perfectly in-keeping with our style plus the onboarding missed a couple of companies but this was quickly and easily resolved.

Easily tracking portfolio roles and providing a point of reference for community members in search of their next role.

Job seeker user experience is top notch; we get compliments about this all the time from users. There are comprehensive analytics on the back end as well.

**What do you dislike about Consider?**

By using Consider we're ultimately dependent on ATS organizations' and hiring companies' protocols, which can throw an unexpected wrench in the end results. But Consider has been quick to find the cause and resolve issues when this occurs.

**What do you like best about Consider?**

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with Consider: the product, the founder, the customer support team, and the sudden steep price increases.

**What do you dislike about Consider?**

The product does not work as advertised. Their founder overpromised and underdelivered on the original sales call in order to get our business. Once the product was setup for us there were errors from the start and all along the way which they failed to correct and then blamed on their lack of engineering resources. Further down the road, the company gave us a month's notice before wanting to increase our price by thousands of dollars. This is a poorly built software and a bad customer experience. When there are so many great options out there, it would be unwise to choose Consider your solution.

Unfortunately Consider didn't work as advertised and was a poorly built product - meaning they didn't provide us any solutions and actually added to our issues. The solution we received was once we switched over to Getro which is a superior product with a tremendous founding team and customer support team.

Through a personalized process, Consider helped us launch our job aggregator platform seamlessly. It was an effective method of allowing our firm aggregate all jobs across our portfolio, which was well received by our candidate population. Shane was always responsive and accomodating.

**What do you dislike about Consider?**

The Talent Network wasn't utilized as often, so it would be interesting to understand what worked well from companies whose networks performed well.

It efficiently condenses how we view jobs and how folks can apply to them.

It can get a little confusing sometimes with key word methodology applications we use to successfully post jobs to the right category.

**What do you like best about Consider?**

Consider is the most intuitive recruiting tool I've used in my career. The ability to aggregate data across LinkedIn/GitHub/Twitter and display it in such a great UI is a huge value-add to my workflow.

Being able to get super granular with the different fields (i.e. - want to find an infrastructure developer who's a veteran in San Francisco with 7+ years of experience that has been promoted quickly?) is an incredible feature while also being able to break down whether these are folks I'm connected to or someone in my org is connected to.

On the job board side, big fan of the options here. Consider can pull publicly-listed roles from our portfolio (if they have a careers page) but, since oftentimes they do not, the option to upload one-off roles is another fantastic feature.

Lastly, the customer support team is top notch and incredibly responsive. Have always had a great experience with the team as a whole.

**What do you dislike about Consider?**

The only downside with Consider v. some other platforms is that the skillset/features/fields are fixed. If there is a technology or company not currently in Consider's database, the team must approve it first (which they do quickly) but it can hinder specific searches

**What problems is Consider solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consider helps us build a pipeline for our entire portfolio while also letting us get specific enough to create projects for individual companies. It helps us solve problems that would arise maintaining various spreadsheets and/or one gigantic database by parsing candidates into different buckets to move through the workflow.

On the job board side, Consider helps us aggregate all our portfolio's open roles and hosts it in a great-looking UI that links directly to our main page. The search feature allows us to see what roles are open and we can point folks directly to the Consider board to join our Talent Network.

**What do you like best about Consider?**

Consider's platform is designed to service clients efficiently and proactively. Their support team has been extremely helpful in managing our onboarding. Their product is a definite improvement on our past service provider.

**What do you dislike about Consider?**

Consider functions properly and has improved our internal Jobs Board infrastructure. Our only (small) reservation is the aesthetic quality of the interface for users. A greater degree of customization in that regard would be very welcome.

**What problems is Consider solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consider has allowed us to integrate a massive portfolio of companies and talent into a robust dashboard, seamlessly. Our companies use it, our talent network uses it, and we believe that our Jobs Board is a key part of our organization's mission-driven work.

Consider made it extremely easy to set up a job bord for all the compnaies in our portfolio. It saved us hours of work and basically runs itself! The team at Consider is wonderful, they are always extremly helpful and ready to answer any question.

There are no downsides to using Consider!

Consider populates the jobs within our portfolko companies and gets them posted to our jobs board in record time! Consder saves us hours of maunal work.

**What do you like best about Consider?**

I needed a job board that could aggregate all of the open jobs within my firm's ecosystem of portfolio companies. I looked at a dizzying amount of job board solutions and most were either antiquated, really inflexible, or cost an arm and a leg. Consider not only provided the exact solution we needed to showcase the open jobs within our ecosystem, but they also did it at a very reasonable price. The Consider team is very attentive and helpful and worked with us to accommodate our workflows. The end result is a job board that saves my team significantly in time spent.

**What do you dislike about Consider?**

No real complaints. The job board could look a little fancier, but it's minimalist layout is just fine.

More flexible and accommodating than Getro

**What problems is Consider solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem we needed solved was how to display jobs from across our portfolio of companies with different ATS's and in some cases, no ATS at all. We needed something that could work with any ATS, scrape company job sites that weren't fed by an ATS, and accommodate some unique workflows. Consider does all of that and does it well. We are considering purchasing additional products from Consider.

Easy to use product. Incredible flexibility from the Consider team on adjusting where needed for complicated projects. The final product looks fantastic.

**What do you dislike about Consider?**

Our company structure is incredibly complicated for building out this type of job board and talent network, so there are a few things that don't work as well, but no other competitor could have even built this (We checked).

**What problems is Consider solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to provide resources to our portfolio companies, and after months of searching, this was the best one to use for job boards and talent network. We realized incredible marketing utility in addition.

Consider was very helpful for us to integrate the job platform into our website. They were really supportive and flexible with our desired adjustments. The platform itself is very user-friendly and updated very fast.

By now i don't have something that i would dislike about the service or the platform.
