What do you like best about Consensus?

We were sending the same demo (live) to every new contact at every account, which is an inefficient use of everyone's time. Consensus allows us to send one demo experience that all stakeholders can view independently, therefore by the time we get on the phone, they have already viewed the demo. It also solves the "I don't know if they even took a look at what I sent" issue as the analytics track who viewed the demo and where in the demo experience they viewed. For multi-decision maker deals this is particularly helpful as you are not reliant on the primary contact to explain the demo to the rest of the purchasing group. What do you dislike about Consensus?

Sometimes the demo experience does not match our brand and aesthetic as well as we would like, and that bothers me more than it probably should. Getting new reps to consistently use Consensus takes some effort to push them to do so; the setup is not difficult, but there is a learning curve when creating demo experiences. What do you like best about Consensus?

I find it very helpful to be able to send demos and information via Consensus, which allows us to scale a lot of our time in getting information to customers. It's been particularly beneficial to send demos asynchronously, allowing customers to watch those videos on their own schedule. It's just a helpful resource in that way. The initial setup was relatively easy from a sales rep perspective, even though it was more challenging for the solutions engineering team that had to create the videos. What do you like best about Consensus?

What makes Consensus best to me is the fact that it enhances the initial interaction between our product and prospects. The primary negative that I observed is the work to maintain demo content fresh. I have been working in my company that has been continuously updating our SaaS product to support e-commerce customers, thus, we have to re-record parts of the demo library. It takes product and sales coordination to prepare such updates. The platform will have a huge number of features, and it may still require effort to adjust existing demo journeys. What do you like best about Consensus?

I really like that I can create an overall journey with several videos while giving the end user flexibility to choose and prioritize what they want to learn. Consensus tells me where to focus later discussions and helps me ask questions about important topics. It provides a central location for housing demo videos, which is great for tracking who looked at what material, so we know what to cover or share in future discussions. The initial setup of Consensus was pretty easy; I just sat with an admin for about 20 minutes and understood it well. System navigation was very straightforward. What do you dislike about Consensus?

Some sections of the upload process are clear and easy, but others are a bit limiting. It might be due to our current configuration, but I sometimes need to create a video without a designated list of contacts. I would love clarity on how to make a single dashboard or view specifically for my product videos that I can share with sales reps. What do you like best about Consensus?

I think the most appealing aspect of the Consensus to me is that it is possible to provide individual demo experiences without arranging live calls. I have been working in a B2B software firm and we utilize it regularly in supporting our sales reps. The process of implementation was simplified, and the integration with Salesforce and HubSpot allows connecting the data on the demo activity with pipeline data easily. What do you dislike about Consensus?

The only thing that I dislike about Consensus is that the process of customizing demos may take more time than anticipated. At the time we rolled it out initially it took us longer than anticipated to prepare all the internal content. There are also some higher features that seem walled off by higher prices. Since we will be using it frequently, delay in updating demos will slow down our sales team. It has at times affected our response time in roll out of new product updates. What do you like best about Consensus?

I use Consensus for sending informative videos, demos, and trainings on Asana's multiple products and it has been great for convincing potential customers of how good our product is. It helps me get numerous meetings, close deals, and build rapport with customers. I love that it lets me know when customers have watched the videos I sent over, which is a key insight for following up, especially if I'm trying to sell someone an AI package. What do you dislike about Consensus?

I want to be able to bulk send to multiple people at the same time in a simpler way. Also, I wish that the video library was easier to navigate and that it was in sections. The video library could be made easier to navigate, in sections. It is great once you find things but being able to see a short clip of the video before you click in etc. For example, if you hovered over the video it started playing like on YouTube home page. When inviting people from different companies I need to do it separately and can't do it all in one go. It should be easier to send the same link to 20 different people and not be so manual.
