What do you like best about ConnectWise SIEM?

In addition to providing SOC services and endpoint administration and monitoring, Connectwise has put in countless hours to develop a solid solution. Security information and event management (SIEM) solutions provide us with an extra degree of protection, but the majority of SIEM solutions are expensive to implement, frequently hard to operate, and demand a high level of in-house cybersecurity knowledge.

An effective substitute to broaden your security perspective to include both prevention and detection is ConnectWise SIEM. Comprehensive and adaptable SIEM software is part of the solution, which simplifies network safety and security without requiring costly full-time staffing or challenging installs. What do you like best about ConnectWise SIEM?

Support has been extremely helpful in resolving issues in a timely manner. They are effective and responsive with appropriate solutions.

The number of integrations with 3rd party products is encouraging.

The application can ingest a great deal of data and recall it with decent performance capabilities.

IDS sensors are generally resilient and function well when setup properly.

The SIEM agent installs and uninstalls without a restart and is generally unobtrusive in its default configuration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ConnectWise SIEM?

The solution is not quite there for MSP use, especially in terms of global control of parameters for items that can affect all organizations, such as alerts/event notifications.

There are only 3 access levels to the portal – providing limited granularity and control of changes. This applies to MSP and Client access to the platform.

Users are tied to object permissions, making shared administration of the platform difficult at best. This causes service problems when administrators leave the provider as well. Features around integrations with ticketing systems are lacking.

Building, generating, and delivering reports can be a hassle.

No ability to easily export log data.

The interface is well organized, but it is difficult for new individuals to navigate without training.

Documentation is wide in breadth, but training on how to use the product is seemingly non-existent.

The slack channel was removed and not replaced with some other chat function.

Creating Perchybana KLC statements can be cumbersome.

The Shared Marketplace collections are somewhat difficult to navigate. Creating custom event notifications is not very intuitive.

Finding evidence related to a support incident is cumbersome at times.

The IDS sensors can be a pain to setup for the uninitiated and the status of those can be difficult to track and maintain when there are 100s to monitor.

Unresolved alerts won’t re-trigger a ticket.

The ConnectWise integration page is slow to load for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ConnectWise SIEM?

Multiple tabs helps with multitasking and being able to reference past tickets in going about work. The search function work and is useful to when looking up past tickets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ConnectWise SIEM?

Keeping configurations, as in devices, software, BDR and hosting solutions, organized is somewhat lacking. We have to use 3rd party sync for a better and more intuitive layout. Still, in a pinch, what ConnectWise offers is helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ConnectWise SIEM?

We have tried this tool as our security tools to manage and have a real time threat protection in the environment. It has few first in segment features which helps admins to block outside attacks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ConnectWise SIEM?

The most helpful thing I've found since using CW SIEM is the dashboard views that it provides. At a glance, you can see everything one would need in order to respond to threats in a timely fashion or investigate potential threats. 5 Stars for ease of use! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ConnectWise SIEM?

While it's much more difficult to find a flaw, the only thing that comes to mind is the difficulty one can have at times when searching through logs. Some of the filters are a bit hard to navigate when using the Discover portion of PerchyBana. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ConnectWise SIEM?

ConnectWise SIEM is best tool for monitoring and creating automations and reports for our customers. Their support team is also great and is very responsive. We never had a disappointment with the support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ConnectWise SIEM?

What do you like best about ConnectWise SIEM?

ConnectWise SIEM makes our lives in IT easier by simplifying the processes needed to do our job efficiently. As I'm sure most know, IT is no easy job. Anything that can cut down on bloat and needless complication is a huge win. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
