**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I like Connecteam for its ease of use, which makes managing tasks like rostering and timesheets straightforward for my business. I appreciate the good interface of the Scheduler and Clock/timesheets features. I also find the customer support to be helpful.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I find Connecteam buggy, as some features have bugs or don't function properly in full-on business scenarios. The pricing isn't competitive, and there's a lack of payroll support. It's also difficult to easily connect with Microsoft Excel to export data, and the accounting software integration is bad. Additionally, due to the lack of connectivity and interoperability of Connecteam with other software, I don't use it with other tools.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecteam helps me with rostering and timesheets.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I love that it is free for up to 10 members, this definitely gives the chance to really try things out before making a long term commitment. 

So far I have enjoyed the features I have used and will be trying the private integrations soon.

Over all very simple to use, still more features to explore but this is a great place for businesses starting out to get a handle on communication and hr related stuff.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

The only down side right now is that in order to do a majority of the admin stuff I have to be on the laptop or computer.  Would love to see the options available for mobile.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping things in one place! I also love that there is the option to automate the entire onboarding process.  The fact that you can set up the process for each position and when you add a member it has them run through everything needed.

I love that it’s free to use for smaller startups! I think it’s pretty smart to get businesses familiar with your platform so when it’s actually something that’s paid for there is almost no learning curve to maximize its use.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

UI is a little clunky.it could be more intuitive. It’s especially challenging to describe how to use it to new hires.

It’s helping me to best on-board independent contractors.

I love that the app has helped us get everything to manage our team in one place. I especially like that I can create group chats, schedule templates and even have the time clock connected for our team.  It has brought clarity and ease to what once was a chaotic mess.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I have nothing I think the app has all the functionality we need currently.  The only critic I would have is being able to make changes to the schedule without a thousand notifications being sent out to the team it might get a little confusing.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling and team messaging where a nightmare before we started using the app.  This has made it more clear and given us the ability to hold our team accountable.

I appreciate Connecteam because it is very easy to use, especially when dealing with payroll management and collating hours, which makes my daily tasks much simpler to handle. The clock feature within Connecteam stands out to me as it is also intuitive and easy to use, enhancing my overall experience and streamlining time management efficiently. The initial setup of Connecteam was straightforward and easy, which was a great relief. The combination of these user-friendly features makes Connecteam a valuable tool for my team and workflow.

I find some features in Connecteam too complex, which often leads to confusion, particularly with aspects like reporting.

We use Connecteam to manage payroll by collating hours efficiently, and I find it easy to use despite some complex features that can cause confusion.

Itis solving our scheduling problems and time management. It makes it alot easier than the manual systems we were using before. It is very easy to use and communicate schedule to employees with.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

What I really like about Connecteam is the overall look and feel. Compared to the other platforms we’ve used, it’s much more visually appealing and user-friendly. It feels more like scrolling through a social media page than just using a basic clock-in system, which makes it way more engaging for the team.

Some of my favorite things:

Communication is quick — updates, chats, and announcements are all clear.

Scheduling and tasks are straightforward, and I always know what’s coming up.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

One thing I don’t like about Connecteam is that it’s not very friendly for people who aren’t tech-savvy. It often feels like there are too many clicks to get to what you actually need, which can be frustrating when you just want to get something done quickly.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecteam helps solve the challenge of keeping everyone in the loop and organized, especially when working with larger teams or different departments. Before, communication and scheduling could get messy — people missed updates, shifts were confusing, and important information didn’t always reach everyone on time.

With Connecteam, everything is in one place: schedules, tasks, updates, and communication. For me, the biggest benefit is the clarity — I always know what’s happening, what I need to do, and where to find the information I need. It keeps the team more connected and makes day-to-day work run smoother.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

It's super simple to get up to speed with Connecteam. Scheduling is intuitive and quick, and form creation is also very easy - the conditional logic being a highlight. The iOS app is also quick, well-designed and reliable.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I do hope they implement the option for forms to pull information from shifts/scheduling, and also from designated lists (e.g. current clients etc.). Currently you have to manually update every single form if you need to add anything to a drop -down list.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecteam has solved an issue of client sign-off on project completion with signature capture on-site. The client representative's name, signature and time and location are captured, acknowledging that all works have been completed to the client's requirements. Massively helpful if any future issues arise.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

Honestly, nothing. There is nothing about CT that I liked. Too many alerts, the notification sound was irritating.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

We tried out CT as an organization, and  we all reached a consensus that we hated it. We were using the basic version  (to start) and if we liked it, we would upgrade. The basic version  was so terrible that no one even wanted to upgrade.  Its bulky, hard to message an individual person, or create a chat without going through several steps. As an organization who runs programs thought the city, we utilize these types of platforms all day everyday. We were with Workplace (RIP) until it went away.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were that it would solve the need for an inter -organization  communication tool. It is not a benefit and honestly never was. I am so sorry for sounding so harsh. As an organization we utilize feedback for improvements and opportunities, I am assuming you are doing the same.

I like that you can add your absence request, or break request. It makes it easier than having to send an email.

It dont always refresh to the newest pay period. It takes a day or so for it to reflect

A great way to keep staff communication fun.  It has many useful features that allow you to customize your own intranet for your staff to find information and manage time spent on projects.  Connecteam works well to track time spent on projects, too.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

Like with any product, mastering all the nuances and figuring out the most effective ways to use it can be challenging. I haven't taken the time to watch the available tutorials, mainly because I need to get things done and don't want to pause my work to watch videos while I'm building something.

I do not have any issues that need Connecteam to resolve at this moment.

I really appreciate Connecteam's communication tools; they make interacting with my team seamless and effective. The clock-in and clock-out feature is incredibly useful for tracking employees' hours accurately. I also enjoy the integration capabilities with other software like QuickBooks for a smoother workflow.

I find it challenging to fully understand and navigate the app, especially when trying to locate specific time sheets or hours for certain employees. The interface feels somewhat 'clicky,' and it would be helpful to have an option to view schedules in advance or retrospectively. The current setup does not easily allow me to examine the hours applied to specific jobs, which is a feature I haven't figured out yet.

I like Connecteam's very simple dashboards that are easy to understand and easy to operate. It works very effectively for the needs that I require. The initial setup was very easy and very smooth. The tutorial videos help massively, and when I've needed help, the support has been very supportive and helpful. The app makes my life easier and employees prefer it as they can see things in a much better format.

I use Connecteam for rotas, marking absences, and managing holidays. It solves paperwork issues and saves time on the computer by making it easier to post rotas in advance based on the information provided by others.

As a limited user, it’s easy to navigate and generally works as expected for these simple functions. It’s convenient to have these tools in one app, especially for checking updates and submitting time-off requests on the go.

The appearance and employee interface either aren’t being used to their full potential by my organization or the app itself is limited. I have been with my current company for over 20 years now. We have always had manual time cards that office staff would write on with a pen to track their time. Our field workers had an old time clock to manually punch in/out each day, and they had gotten into a bad habit of clocking each other in/out at incorrect times. We are very small, with a very small budget to match. We can't afford some big, high-tech, "no way to bypass the system" solution to our needs. When I came across Connecteam, I was very excited to learn it is no cost to employers with under 10 employees. That absolutely fits in our budget! 

I was afraid that our "non-tech" employees would struggle with it at first, and our office staff would have to help them learn how to install/set up their account. I was surprised to hear that everyone downloaded the app and had access to it almost immediately after we launched it. It was so easy to integrate into our daily routine, once everyone got into the habit of remembering to clock in/out each day.

My favorite feature is the geofence, so employees cannot clock in/out unless they are physically on site. I also love being able to track their movements during the day, to see where they are when we need them. Connecteam is so very robust in all its features.... I can't even imagine paying hundreds of dollars a year for anything else! This does everything we need it to do - and more!

I can't think of anything I dislike about Connecteam. My employees and I have all been very pleased with it so far.

It is definitely helping with the theft of time problem we were having when field employees were clocking in/out for each other. They can't do that anymore. The addition of Geofencing and location tagging for work sites has provided us with greater peace of mind, as it allows us to easily identify which team members were present at each site.

Connecteam is a huge upgrade from the paper timesheets we were using.  The set up was relatively easy.  We have multiple locations.  Connecteam tracks who is working at each location.  This is very helpful for allocating payroll costs among the locations.  Connecteam makes it easy for employees to clock in and out on their phones.  Even our older employees were able to adapt with minimal assistance.  I love that there is geofencing to ensure employees are where they are supposed to be.  Employees can only clock in when they are within the geofence.  The timesheets are easily exported and modified within Excel.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

We would love for the free version to include at least one more employee.  Connecteam doesn't always clock employees out quickly after they have left the geofence.  We have a couple of people who habitually forget to clock out.  It would be helpful if it would clock them out faster.

I really like the ability to see employees hours and location in real time. I like being able to a correct, add notes easily and quickly. It's great to be able to communicate with the employee via chats to ask them questions about their hours. It's also great to be able to get messages and notices out to everyone or a specific group of people easily.

I'd like to be able to alter the time sheet in it's PDF view a little bit more. To be able to add columns that I'd like to see. We also have a lot of different types of time keeping. Different Rates, piece work, prevailing wage, per diem, mileage etc. and it isn't easy/almost impossible to get these on a time sheet in way that we can use. I have to do almost everything through notes. And when I do that, the other rates etc. do not total on their own, I still have to do the math by hand. Customer service was able to add columns for mileage and per diem for us, however they will not show up on the PDF timesheet, only on the screen on my desktop. So we have some employees that this will simply not work for and we have not been able to integrate them into having digital timesheets through Connecteam.

It has been excellent in our scheduling department. It has made scheduling and communication a lot easier and more efficient. It also enables us to see how many hours have been worked on a job in real time rather than waiting for time sheets to be turned in at the end of the payroll cycle. It's also a lot faster to get the info needed for me to do the payroll. I can just download timesheets and get their total hours instantly. (as long as they have worked only regular hours and have had no special cases, rates, or reimbursements)

It definitely had capacity limitations to be able to integrate fully into Gusto, and offer the array of time off policies we were hoping for.  Only a couple of the most basic time off policies were able to be synced to Connecteam, and the rest, like Parental Leave, either couldn't be connected or couldn't be replicated at all in Connecteam (like with people who needed have the option of either time-and-a-half for holidays they worked or a paid holiday off if they didn't work that day). The management team that was handling the implementation said there were glitches as well, that even though the system was easy to use on the front end, it would bug out often enough that it wasn't worth using for our team.

I'm extremely particular with the softwares I use.
It needs to be clean, easy, minimal and give me a feel of peace and not overwhelm when I use it.
connectteams ticks all these boxes and more.
Yes, there are definitely some improvements that I would like to see but the fact you can use the platform without paying a single penny (unless you need more features but we haven't outgrown these yet as a small business) is mind blowing.
Customer support is amazing, it's so easy to set up.
We use the platform every single day and our staff pick it up really quickly which saves a lot of time on training them.
Previous platforms were a nightmare. But this has been so simple.
Bonus, we just have to get up the application and our staff can show environment health all our documents.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I would say one of the downsides of using connect team is that everyone on the team can use it so sometimes there is a lot of messages you have to respond to or read to make sure they are not addressed to you.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Call outs scheduling agendas connect team allows the schedule to be put on an app where everyone can access it easily. It also allows employees to ask other employees to cover their shifts so that the business is not left without enough workers.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

Tracking location, communication and scheduling employees. Even our older non tech employees have not issue with the app. It was easy to switch to using. Our staff appreciate the chat options. we use connect team for both companies daily.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

after upgrading it's frustrating the amount of different levels you have to pay for to use basic functions. It would be better to have it more clearly broken down into three or four option, or an option to pick the functions your company needs. I spoke with customer support about this, they were friendly and heard my concerns.
Another issue if the it doesn't report hours correctly into QuickBooks when exporting using the integration option. so overtime shows as regular time.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can see where are people are clocking in and out at. As well as reporting certified payroll that is 100% accurate.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

The best part of Connecteam is their support and dedication to growth and understanding. Every support member I've ever spoken to was beyond helpful, going out of their way to solve any issue I had. The wealth of knowledge that the team shares also is tremendously helpful for all on my team. Very easy to use, implement, and integrate. We use Connecteam daily.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I would appreciate better connectivity across all kinds of devices, as many of our team members use the time clock feature and many others on a daily basis across different devices, and connectivity is not always the best with lower models of devices, causing lots of glitches and crashes where there isn't on other high performance platforms on the same device.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had tremendous issues with our time sheet and scheduling systems, which Connecteam has not only solved for us, but also helping our team have a better understanding of their own schedules and expectations. The vast amount of features on Connecteam also allows us to keep things organized and structured for easy use by our team members.
