**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I appreciate how customizable the app is, allowing us to tailor it to our specific needs. Connecteam is also extremely user-friendly, making the setup process straightforward and hassle-free. The app offers many features that help keep our team connected in one central place, rather than having to use multiple apps or websites. I am truly grateful to have discovered Connecteam.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I wish there were templated customizable to-do checklists available in Connectteam for certain recurring projects. Aside from that, I am really enjoying using it at the moment.

It enables us to keep all of our internal SOPs and communications organized in a single place.

I like the way it makes it easy for all associates to be updated and communicate through all  store locations.

You are not able to turn off the main chat thread.

It allows us to update all associates with information at once and it also makes it easier to schedule and know who is working where and when.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

Time clocks and GPS are always an issue at our company, until we found Connecteam. Now, our staff's time is accurate; we instantly see when someone fails to clock in or out, and the GPS tracks our staff who travel to jobsites. This has increased productivity and efficiency in payroll. Our staff understood the app instantly and needed very little training. All employees are required to use Connecteam daily to clock in and out and to allow GPS to track them when traveling to a job site. Our HR staff finds  Connecteam to work efficiently with payroll when issuing weekly paychecks. They pull hours straight from Connecteam. When we encounter issues with the GPS and need help finding what we are looking for, customer support has always been able to answer all our questions. As well, when we first set up the Connecteam program, Customer Support provided answers to all of our questions. Finally, we have been able to integrate our time clock and payroll system into Connecteam, allowing for payroll to flow smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

The only area for improvement I could see is with the GPS details. It would be helpful if the GPS displayed the locations where vehicles stop and the duration of their stays at each property. It makes it challenging to work with cell tower pings.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing our staff to easily clock in and out from the ease of their cell phones.  Pulling timecard reports straight from one source, with the hours already calculated.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I find Connecteam incredibly beneficial for managing staff holiday entitlements and annual leave, plus a clocking system for our various employees and sub-contractors allowing us to track hours worked and pay. It's intuitive and simplifies the complicated process of tracking leave, ensuring that employees from the same team don't take time off simultaneously, preventing operational issues. This has dramatically improved our workflow. I appreciate how easy the setup was, with excellent guidance from the support team. The support that Connecteam provides is fantastic, making me feel supported throughout the entire setup process. The clock-in and clock-out functionality using the iPad app is another feature I find highly useful, providing our employees with a seamless and efficient way to track their time. Furthermore, I value the reliability of both the platform and the iPad app; they have proven to be extremely dependable in our daily operations. Overall, I like everything about Connecteam—its ease of use, support, and reliability make it an outstanding choice for our needs.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I'm currently in the set up phase of Connecteam and haven't rolled out yet, however so far it's requiring me to really think about our recruitment, offer, onboarding, training, and maintenance of employee records and data. I can see that it's going to be an incredibly useful tool if I can get it configured correctly.

I've been finding the AI chatbot incredibly helpful for finding answers quickly or getting advice on how to configure something. 

The few team members I have invited have been impressed at how easy it is to sign up.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

It's not always easy to find administrative options, the back end UI isn't as intuitive as the front facing UI. 

For example configuring the invite links. I have to remember to be in the Users area, then click Add users, and from the small menu select Manage Invite Link. When the menu pops up it's a very narrow pop up and it is hard to see the questions I want to configure as they are full of text that is wider than the narrow pop up. In addition if I forget to add a question I cannot re-arrange the questions, I have to delete anything that would be after that user question, add the one I forgot, then add the ones I just deleted. 

It would also be great to be able to make user fields required but only for certain cohorts at the user settings level not just when you send a custom invite link.

Some features available to users like forms are hidden under Assets which isn't a very descriptive category in my opinion.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecteam is going to solve us being across multiple platforms to have employee data. Currently we use a combo of
- Google Drive for forms/documents
- Monday to manage personal and banking details
- Jira to manage recruitment and contracting
- Xero for timesheeting but only for some employees
- Telegram and Slack for messaging
- Atlassian for knowledge bases
- in person for training 

We're going to roll everything into Connecteam and start to create online training modules and add tasks to shifts.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

Out of all the employee time tracking and scheduling services we've tried out in the past, connecteam has been the easiest to learn and use daily. Our employees have not reported any issues like we have heard in the past using other apps for our clock in/out. I love having everything in one spot. I know when theres requests off while making the schedule. I know if someone has been late or forgot to clock out. It's like having a second manager built in for me.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I do not have any complaints. This has been the greatest app we've used.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me a chance to set it and forget it basically. On weeks when the schedule is the same, I don't have to make any changes. It remembers the previous week for me and I can auto add it in. It also reminds me of requests off's for my employees. The geofencing has saved us multiple times when employees were stealing time, claiming to be clocked in and they were not even at work. This feature helps protect us

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

Connecteam makes it easy to add new users and I like the way you can qualify each user in a specific department and job role. It was very helpful that a representative from Connecteam met with us 3 or 4 times for almost an hour each time to help fine-tune our user interface and learn the ropes of the app.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I really do not like the fact that you can't point at any place on the schedule screen without something popping up. Sometimes, the thing that pops up gets stuck and you have to look for the shift that's causing the pop-up so you can get rid of it. Also, every time I use the Job Scheduler, I filter it so I'm only seeing the people in my department but the next time I go back into the schedule, it has reset to the original settings and I have to filter again.

It's beneficial to have one central way of communicating with our staff as a whole and not just the individuals in my department.

I am really satisfied with the basic plan. It is an application or software that allows you to manage your business, even if it lacks some more advanced features. It remains a true tool for running your company, especially when used in conjunction with other solutions, for example, for file storage or managing orders and invoices.

Nothing to report. Let them simply continue their innovation efforts and keep adding new tools.

Connecteam allows us to better organize task scheduling, employee time tracking, knowledge base management, and staff training. It also facilitates leave request management and tracking, agenda maintenance, task assignment, and the quick sending of forms, among other features.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

It has everything you need to connect with your team through chat, get feedback through surveys, schedule and timekeeping, etc. There are a ton of features available and it's easy to use and implement. We use it every day to make our lives easier. Of the other products out there, this is one of the best ones we have used.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I don't like that certain features in each element you have to upgrade to use, making it an expensive product if you want them all. The cost vs value isn't there if you were to use everything. For example, in the time clock if there are conflicts you have to upgrade to be able to use the feature. One could do without, but it is annoying to the management team. You should get all features in any purchased element versus partial features in each one - it doesn't make sense other than to get more money from the users. It also makes it confusing on the side of figuring out what you need. I could see people abandoning carts just solely due to this confusion.

Every thing in one place to reduce app bloat.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I have been using Connecteam for three years to keep track of all my employees' time and locations during the day. I love how easy it is to set up Connecteam; just a few prompts and it’s ready to go in no time. The software is incredibly user-friendly, so there’s zero confusion when I need to set things up or look up information. It’s extremely intuitive, ensuring there’s nothing that I can't do on the platform. Connecteam also simplifies the task of tracking my employees' time off, making the typically complex process of managing vacation time much easier. Overall, Connecteam offers the quality I need, and it integrates seamlessly with other software like Housecall Pro, making my work more efficient.

I find that Connecteam could improve the tracking of employees while they're clocked in.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I love how easy it is to use Connecteam, which is a key factor for continuing to use the service. I appreciate its intuitive interface, which made the setup process quick and hassle-free. Additionally, the Connecteam team provided us with great help during the setup. I find the tracking system for on-site workers' schedules to be very effective, and we have been successfully using it to keep track of employees' check-ins and check-outs. I also like the 'knowledge paste' and forms functionality, as they are tools we use quite a lot. Finally, the clock for blocking check-ins and check-outs along with the 'knowledge space' are other features I find extremely useful and convenient.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I like that it has a various range of action to do, both from the management and the employee sides. I can literally manage a team without every speaking to them because it gives us so many options to share and upload content, you can share tasks/events/schedule easily and your team can interact with it.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

The only thing I would need is a reminder notification when the planned shift is about to end to the employee, like right on time or a few minutes after to let them know to clock out. It happens quite a lot that employee forget to clock out and they are automatically clocked out when they reached the daily limit.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The interface to planned the schedules and shifts of everyone saves me the time and trouble of using excel and sharing it with the employee. It is hard to view it and update it. With the Connecteam experience, it makes it easy for me to make the schedule as I can see my full week and all my employee at once so I can easily manage to have the full day covered, also I can duplicate weeks, that saves me some time. The employee can easily check and approve or refute shifts, ask for changes and clarification through the app. But mostly, when I'm not at the office, with the clock in service I can make sure our office was opened on time.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

Connecteam has helped us keep track of shifts and the hours of our staff, That was utter chaos before and took alot of time.
We have also been putting in there extra assignments that sometimes fell between the cracks and got forgotten before, But since we started everything has been taken care of.

It was easy to learn and integrate and is now used on the daily.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

Our staff complain about the passcodes and not being able to set they're own codes or passwords

We had some smaller assignments fall in the cracks and got forgotten, But now we can assign them to a team when they are received and we haven't had a hiccup since we started.
We also used to use google sheets to keep track of working hours but connecteam has help us a lot and saved  of time in that regard

I like that Connecteam is free. It's helpful that each team member has their own login and can submit things they want. We appreciate that they are able to send in a form with the job write-up they did. Setting it up for the team was easy.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I find it could be improved if clicking on a job in the calendar had a direct link to submit the form, carrying over the information inside to the form so the team member doesn't need to switch back and forth. Also, better and easier forms and scheduling links would be beneficial.

Connecteam makes scheduling and work order write-ups easy for our team. Each member has their own login and can submit job write-ups, simplifying our processes.

I find Connecteam incredibly easy to set up and navigate, which made the initial transition seamless. The platform excels at managing team tasks and shifts, particularly with its organization of hard shifts and the ability to track hours from multiple team members efficiently. These features significantly enhance my team's management processes. Additionally, the comprehensive team management skills offered by Connecteam make it a great tool for my needs, and the overall experience with these functionalities is excellent. I would like to see improvements in the way Connecteam handles categories, specifically regarding time shifts. I feel that being able to dive deeper into the categories of time shifts would be beneficial. Adding subcategories to enhance the categorization of time shifts is something I find lacking in the current setup.

the best part is how the app brings everything into one place and works perfectly on a mobile phone. At Winmar ,  technicians are always out at job sites, and Connecteam gives them one simple place to clock in, see their schedule, and fill out job forms.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

the Reports could be more advanced. It would be helpful to have better, more detailed ways to look at labor costs for each job, not just the basic timesheet reports.

The main problem Connecteam solves is the lack of communication and connection between our crews on the job and the office staff.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

Love that employees can take their schedule into their own hands and give up and pick up shifts as they need. I like that the admin users are able to track and approve the requests within the app.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I would really like the option to assign particular breaks to certain roles, rather than having to apply them to everyone or to no one at all.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to send off time sheets efficiently and effectively.  Automatically deducting unpaid breaks is great for staff, but do wish you could select which members to assign the breaks to as not everyone has the same breaks,  still easier to remove breaks from 2 people, than adding it individually to 5
Staff being responsible for editing their own times if they forget to clock in is really beneficial and saves us admin time in adjusting all their hours.

It is the most easy app for my team. My favorite feature is that they can clock in from anywhere and I can see that they are actually at the venue they’re supposed to be.

There is nothing that I dislike about Connecteam.

A lot of my team works hourly and they are all remote. It’s hard to keep track of where everybody is at the same time so the location feature really helps.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I appreciate that Connecteam serves as our primary communication tool and has streamlined our internal communications, allowing any employee to reach out to others across the organization effortlessly. This solves management frustrations and drives accountability, which is especially beneficial for managers. I find its setup process incredibly simple; we just imported our employees' information and sent invitation links, getting almost everyone using the tool within the first week. Connecteam allows us to quickly and easily schedule and trade our EMT shifts. We also use the Forms feature to complete our daily ambulance 'rig checks,' logging what is missing, current mileage, etc., which is even more convenient via the mobile app. It's easy to both set up and use, and there are a bunch of tutorial videos and articles to help new users get started. I contacted support once with a specific use case and quickly received the help that I needed.

It is very easy and user friendly, each of our employees have it downloaded on their phone and when they need to request a vacation time/sick time they use the app. Immediately the request gets submitted for approval and after the approval the vacation/sick time balance gets automatically updated! There are so many other great features like chat between employees, creating and RSVP for events, timesheets, clock in and clock out, GPS tracking. This app is amazing and it's free if you have under 10 employees!

Connecteam has been absolutely life-changing for my business. From the way I used to do things, to now, I honestly have no idea how I did it. I would text each staff member their hours individually, taking up precious extra time from my already non-stop life. However, with Connecteam, and its ease of implementation into my businesses operations, it was the perfect software. My team and I use the software every day, with its large numbers of features, whether it be time-off requests, or time clocks, the software never stops being used. With its easy integration into my business, I couldn't have asked for anything more! Additionally, their Customer Support are superstars, always answering any of my requests at the click of a button, in a timely manner, no matter the questions complexity.

The only downside of using Connecteam is moving anything that you used to write on paper, to online! Although it may take some time to get used to this change in processes, I cannot fault Connecteam in any way - they have saved my business and I so much time. 
Even though it took time to get used to, it cannot be faulted in any other way, and now, I can easily pull up any information I need about my staff at the click of a button, rather than previously having to go home and look through paper records - life changing!

Connecteam has helped my business and I in a multitude of ways, with the main one being staff rostering. I used to write down the roster on a piece of paper, then send out individual texts messages to each staff member - a waste of precious time, and an increased possibility of mistakes due to double handling! Further, with the roster constantly changing, my management team were never on the same page as myself in terms availability and who was working in what section. However, with Connecteam, this is no longer an issue, as those who I want to give access to the roster can easily access it whenever they need to, at the click of a few buttons. Inevitably someone will forget to clock in or out but the app allows them to edit their times and I can go in to approve those changes. There is nothing I have found that dislike about Connecteam however it does feel a bit overwhelming at first glance. Connecteam has been a lifesaver in terms of rostering, storing staff information, and managing staff overall. With its easy-to-use user interface and an extremely easy-to-integrate system with my current workflow, by simply adding employee phone numbers or emails, I couldn't have asked for better employee management software. All of my staff use Connecteam to receive their rosters each week, as well as view and be reminded of their shifts each and every day, as well as the Management Team, all being on the same page, in terms of unavailability and schedule changes. Further, when I first started with Connecteam, their Customer Support Team was amazing at assisting me in implementing their solution to replace my old paper rostering system and make rostering easier and more efficient! Finally, the customisation abilities that you have with Connecteam are endless - from adding your company's logo to the app, to adding or removing sections you don't want/need to use, we as Managers have total control.

I wish Connecteam had more ways to write notes regarding staff - for example, in terms of a Human Resources point of view, I wish I could track attendance and add confidential notes about employees, such as medical conditions that other Managers may need to be aware of, or punishment logs - such as suspension, demotion, promotion, or termination logs. This would also allow us to log communications with staff, whether it be by phone or email in a centralised place to ensure the Management Team stay on the same page, at all times.

Connecteam is helping me, as a small buisness, to manage my staff in an effective and compliant way. I used to keep all staff details and rostering on paper, and send individual messages to staff with the roster. Using this platform has made my life so much easier when it comes to employee management and payroll is such a breeze now. Our business uses this daily, from tasks that need to be completed, to employee scheduling, to recognitions and celebrating each other. We were using a platform before Connecteam that wasn't the easiest to use, so it was a little nerve wracking when switching. It was super easy to get everyone to move over and start using the app though. All of my employees like this platform so much better than our last. You can tell they are always looking to improve with the new features they are releasing, and they frequently reach out to ask what features are working and what could be better. That makes me feel a lot better knowing that they are looking out for their customer's needs.

I will say that initially when we were deciding if we wanted to switch platforms, it was a little confusing with how the plans were laid out. I had to do some extensive research into it to figure out which plan(s) would fit the needs of my business. It does get a little pricey depending on what features you are needing and wanting to use, and it does seem like they're still in early stages with a lot of them, but they are working on it which is a plus.

The biggest issue I had before moving over to Connecteam was payroll. Before it was taking me way too long to get everything figured out just to get my employees paid. That has saved me so much time and that alone is probably one of the things I'm most grateful for.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I find Connecteam to be one of the easier, user-friendly apps available. Its ease of use was a significant factor in my decision to choose it over other vendors, and the setup process was incredibly straightforward, requiring only basic information like first and last name, and phone number—after which, everything was smooth sailing. Connecteam has been invaluable in helping us track time accurately, effectively preventing time theft and significantly reducing our payroll costs. The timesheets and time clock features are particularly useful and integral to our operations. Its user friendliness is a major reason I would choose to purchase it again.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I am disappointed that Connecteam doesn't integrate with other software like Patriot Software.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Connecteam to prevent time theft, significantly reducing payroll costs. It’s user-friendly and features like timesheets and the time clock streamline operations.

I like that Connecteam keeps everything in one place. It saves me from having to switch between WhatsApp, Excel sheets, and paper schedules. With Connecteam, I have my work schedule, tasks, messages, and time tracking all within one app.

The app slows sometimes.

I use Connecteam to schedule shifts and set up work time for my team. It consolidates work schedules, tasks, messages, and time tracking in one app, eliminating the need to switch between WhatsApp, Excel sheets, and paper schedules.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

Connecteam has been a great solution for improving communication between our technicians and office staff. We use it mainly for internal messaging, sharing updates and announcements, and managing weekend shift sign-ups. It’s also helped streamline PTO requests, which used to be a hassle to track manually. One of the unexpected benefits has been how it brings our office staff closer to the work our technicians do in the field. Our techs often share photos from their day — like bee hives found inside walls, termite damage, before-and-after shots from jobs, and even surprise wildlife encounters like snakes or baby opossums. It’s created a fun and informative way for everyone to stay connected and involved, even if they’re not physically on-site.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

While we love the communication features, there are a few things we wish Connecteam offered or made more accessible:

Desktop pop-up/chat notifications: Since we rely heavily on it for communication, having push-style desktop alerts or a more chat-forward interface would help ensure that urgent messages don’t get overlooked — especially by office staff working on computers.

Video chat capability: A built-in option for quick video calls would help streamline internal conversations without having to switch platforms.

Basic features behind higher-tier plans: Some features that feel like they should be standard — like scheduled announcements or the ability to personalize birthday messages — are only available on higher-tier plans.

Small features behind paywalls: At times, it feels like even minor or seemingly simple features are part of upgrades. It would be nice for Connecteam to review what’s included in each plan, especially for small teams who rely on the basics and don’t need the full enterprise-level package.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communications overall.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I like that Connecteam is easy and convenient for all employees to download, log in, and log out, and use at different sites with our clients. The AI chat support is also helpful whenever I have questions, and setting up was pretty easy, despite the initial chaos due to my vacation.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

Since I'm still learning, it's more of so where I need to just use it more and, any questions that arise, I always ask the AI chat.

I use Connecteam for clocking in and out, and it's easy and convenient for all employees to download, log in, log out, and use at different sites with our clients.

Connecteam has truly transformed the way I manage my team. It keeps everyone connected in real time, ensuring that no update ever slips through the cracks. I love how effortlessly I can assign shifts, notify staff of open opportunities, and stay on top of important dates like birthdays and work anniversaries. The platform makes communication seamless and scheduling incredibly efficient. For any business looking to streamline operations and strengthen team engagement, Connecteam is, without a doubt, the best choice.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

The ability to have repeated events and also if your an event business, having the ability to add your workers to events from the shifts tab.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the biggest benefits I've seen is the boost in team moral. Everyone feels more connected, informed, and appreciated. Important updates, birthdays, and work anniversaries are never missed, which helps build a stronger sense of community. It’s also greatly improved our efficiency. Scheduling shifts, filling open positions, and sharing important information takes just minutes now, saving time and reducing confusion. Overall, Connecteam has made our day-to-day operations smoother and our team more engaged and productive.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I like that Connecteam can be used as a one-stop shop for all things HR, onboarding, and training. The initial setup was fairly simple, which made getting started easier.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

The courses, if you accidentally delete it after publishing, you cannot bring it back. I had someone complete a course and accidentally deleted it and now I cannot recover it. In addition, when you tell it to find videos 99% of the time the links to the videos are not good.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecteam structures courses, finds videos, and integrates HR, onboarding, and training into one platform. It streamlines new employee training, although there are issues with video links not working and courses being unrecoverable once deleted.
