**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

Really enjoy the gps log-in it helps keep the guys honest. Time theft is something of the past with this. I makes payroll a lot easier too. I also like that it keeps track off all time off requests. We use it everyday and have had next to no issues except when the server was down so I had to manually clock in the team. This only happened one time so in the serveal months of using it we have had no issues. The interface is easy to use and getting the guys intergated was really simple. They are now able to clock in and out on their own and adjust their times if they forget to clock out, if they do time adjustments I get a message to confirm or adjust which is great.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I would love a quick add function for guys who forget to clock out for lunch like a 30 min deduction button to make my life easier. Otherwise I really enjoy it.

Helps Keep timecards fair and honest, helps keep time off requests all in one space.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

Great HR, Payroll, Timesheeting, onboarding system that it really easy to use for employees, visually appealing, and has easy to implement features for the operations team to use. It also integrates with the accounting system.
On top of this, customer support from the team via chat is responsive!

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

It is still a relatively new product in the network, however, they are constantly improving it and adding features on a month to month basis.
I.e Job management, and integrations with new systems

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecteam is helping me manage time and attendence with employees in different locations. It also acts as a employee intranet for onboarding programs, training and form submissions.

Connecteam has made a significant difference in how we handle scheduling and employee time tracking. It has also made managing timesheets and invoicing much simpler for us.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

Some of the features we would like to use require us to pay more, but ultimately we understand that it’s an us problem, not a them problem and will likely upgrade in the future.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to using Connecteam we had no real way of tracking vacation time. Also, all timesheets were completed on paper, by hand. Connecteam allows us to do everything digitally.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

The scheduling feature.  Allows ease of creating schedules,  Very easy for you to assign employees to shifts and allows you to create open shifts so other employees can request the shifts. 
Chat feature makes it easy to communicate to all team members and create groups for easy communication.   We have not utilized it yet but the AI function to answer employee questions seems very appealing.  This was all easy to set up.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

Certain simple functions are behind a pay wall or upgraded feature.  For example, in knowledge base - I cannot start a knowledge base document where I can save mid way through to review something else on connect team.  I either have to have to complete it all in one go or pay for the additional upgrade just to save a template or state.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clear and easy scheduling process.  Ease of communication amongst teams.  Easy way to communicate information and tools for employees.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I find Connecteam incredibly beneficial for time tracking our hourly employees, as it saves us from the hassle of manual entry into spreadsheets and the need to follow up on timesheet submissions. It offers real-time tracking of the team’s working hours, which enhances our ability to track hours in real time therefore ensuring we stay within budget. The platform is super simple to use and is accessible both on the web and via an app, which adds to its convenience. I particularly appreciate the helpful notifications, which ensure we stay on top of shift tracking. The ability to extract timesheet data and seamlessly import it into our payroll software using the linking setup within Connecteam's website enhances our workflow efficiency. Overall, the initial setup of Connecteam was very easy, which made the transition smooth and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I find Connecteam's process for removing an employee a bit unintuitive, as it took me a while to figure out the correct steps on the website. Additionally, setting up specific jobs for employees to clock into was challenging during the initial setup.

I appreciate that Connecteam is super easy to use once you become familiar with the platform, which is incredibly helpful for managing our student staff in a career services department on campus. The scheduling and timesheets features make it simple to coordinate work shifts and track hours effectively. Additionally, having the ability to provide updates and easily add new users on the platform streamlines communication and team management. I think the overview or menu options in Connecteam could use some improvements. Additionally, during the initial setup, I found it necessary to read a lot of support guides and FAQs, which suggests that there could be more intuitive onboarding or clearer initial guidance.

I like that Connecteam is fully accessible by all of our team at the same time, allowing us to resolve any issues quickly and effectively. I find the scheduling in Connecteam a bit clunky. It sometimes requires unnecessary adjustments to dates and times, as it may not save changes correctly or could save incorrect times. Though I appreciate the feature that allows moving items to the next day, it can sometimes accidentally cause shifts, necessitating a second check on the scheduling to confirm accuracy.

I appreciate Connecteam for streamlining all our team’s needs into one single app, which eliminates the hassle of having to manage multiple platforms. I find the interface incredibly easy to use, which enhances overall usability significantly. One feature I particularly love is how it accurately tracks employees’ paid and unpaid days off effortlessly. This aspect is highly beneficial because it empowers my team members to keep track of their own available sick days, vacation, and personal days independently without needing to constantly consult me as their manager. Additionally, Connecteam's cost-effectiveness is a substantial factor; it offers a small business plan which is perfectly suitable for our tightly-knit team, unlike previous services. Furthermore, once past the initial setup, which was a bit complex due to various components, navigating the system has become straightforward, increasing our operational efficiency. Overall, the service has proven invaluable, as all other aspects work well for our team, offering an accommodating and manageable system.

I have an issue with the time clock feature. When team members clock back in from lunch, the interface emphasizes the 'return to shift' button instead of the 'end shift' button, which is a bit counterintuitive and could use improvement. Also, the initial setup was somewhat confusing due to the numerous components, although it has become easier to navigate over time.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

Connecteam covers everything my team needs in order to track their day to day work and considerations.
It's very hard to track holidays, day offs, sick days, and calculdate payroll easily - but Connecteam make it very friendly, accurate, and professional.
It makes the payroll much easier and help to track my employees working time.
The application is super friendly and convinent, and it provides advanced features that are really needed and followed by real-need use cases.
I find most of the features in Connecteam very useful.
For sn SMB - I believe this is a very unique platform that can not be found in other places.
Personally, as a business owner, I really adore your products and feel the value that it brings to me and my company. I can't see myself managing that part of the business without Connecteam.
Customer support is great as well as the AI bot which is giving amazing answer compared to others.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

- Lack of holidays feature which in those the employees are in a day-off under the law.
- Lack of option to add overtime to the payroll (or to timesheet). The overtime is going by the time the employee press clock in and clock out. However, some employers are providing overtime only with pre-authorization. Meaning that if a person working 8 hours, and the admin allowed him to have 1 additional overtime hour (once or repeatdly by time configuration and rate configuration), even if the employee will work 9:30 hours - the payroll will be calcualted by 9 hours only (1 hour OT).
- Promoting to admin- assigning the permissions by assets - as the list is long and greatly configurable - the dropdown view is really not comfortable to manage. Pop up with alrge window will be much comfortable.
- Roles of permissions can be nice to have.
- In order to keep the history of resigned employees, we archive them, but you still calculate it as "paid user". I believe that a business of 5 employees with 10 resigned should be counted as 5, not 15. Or either just add otion to "resign" employee but keep the history.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Link between work in the field to the actual salary.
Help to summaries employees work monthly and get very convinent reports for payroll and assement of performance.
Manage organizational information and share it.

The next questions is "Is Connecteam headed in the right direction?"
My answer is absolutly yes - but I still believe that you have a lot of areas to implement AI and make the platform even much more efficient and helpful.

I find Connecteam incredibly valuable for managing my team's schedule effectively. One of the standout features I appreciate is the ability to have all my teammates' schedules in one centralized place. This eliminates the need for me to toggle between different calendars like my iPhone calendar, providing a seamless and streamlined scheduling experience. I love that my subcontractors can confirm their shifts directly through the platform without the hassle of back-and-forth text messaging, saving me considerable time in coordinating schedules. This automation greatly reduces the amount of manual communication required, thus boosting my overall productivity.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I'm still trying to figure out how to add each client with details about the job. I would like to be able to add a client and the details of the job. I'm wondering if there's a way to first add the client with all of the job notes and then schedule their workdays. I want to be able to do everything on the app, not have to go to my computer. I'm looking in the app for a way to add a client and the client notes. And then when I'm scheduling the days, just be able to select that client that's attached to it.

The time tracking features often fail to work properly. The signup takes a bit of trial and error to set up. Sometimes OTP fails to come, and you have to try other methods to sign up and log in.

Connecteam helped to solve the time tracking problem. There was a problem with the time clock not showing up on the user side. The support team assisted in resolving it. This helps to streamline the management of work hours and payroll accuracy.

I like the location and hours tracking for employees, which helps us to reduce costs by getting the exact hours they worked. This feature places the responsibility of managing availability directly on the individual workers rather than a manager having to make individual contact. It's particularly beneficial for shift changes at short notice, as it allows the entire team to be notified of an available shift simultaneously, eliminating the need for managerial intervention. Additionally, Connecteam has increased our efficiency by allowing us to move away from using WhatsApp messaging and pen and paper for managing shifts. I also find the onboarding process to be very straightforward, even for our non-technical staff, making the transition smooth and manageable. Connecteam has lots of features you can turn on and off to customize what features you use.  I LOVE being able to turn on the few items we utilize right now and know that I can easily turn others on as our team grows.  The support team is very responsive and responds rapidly; even to silly questions. My team of 8 uses the app every single day for the time clock features and quick tasks.  It was very easy to transition from Atto to Connecteam; even our team members that are not great with tech were able to quickly get the hang of it.

The only feature I would like to see is the GPS location for the time clock to be accessible via the app.

A little annoying to not be able to go straight into each section, but have to click on the section (eg time clock) then click on it again to enter. Would also be better to have more functionality around breaks, to not have to split the shift any time they're added, but to also have an option to remind staff to take a break and have them log it - useful when there are loading rates for delayed breaks. Currently, there is only the option to have a set break time, or no break time which then relies on staff to select it when they start and finish breaks.

Keeping track of staff hours. I'm not here full time to keep track of staff, and we do also have days where some staff will start work at a job site. The AI customer support tool is helpful for simple questions and how-to's. I like the ease of use, the affordability, and the many features Connecteam offers. The geo-fencing is great, and it's really easy to request time-off or switch shifts. It's an affordable way to keep in constant contact with all staff, either on their desktop or mobile device. I appreciate that we have full control over Connecteam.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

We wish there was a way to better integrate Connecteam with our payroll functions. The accuracy of shifts, switches, etc. could be improved, and an easy-to-use staff interface that replaces the paper flow sheet would be beneficial.

I use Connecteam for team communication and scheduling. It's an affordable way to stay connected with staff on any device and offers features like geo-fencing, easy time-off requests, and shift swaps, making management easier.

Having a platform that i can schedule my staff and see if they accept or decline the shift and easily assign the shif to somebody else. Without having to send txts or emails or calls to  and from to get a schedul that works for everybody. Check list for every day opening and closing tasks

I appreciate the ease of clocking in through the app and how it automatically recognizes and clocks you out if you forget to do so. I like that it helps make the process of matching cleaners' invoices with their clock-in sheets smooth. The feature of tying up invoices and providing an overall summary is also really helpful. The initial setup process was really easy and simple.

Sometimes through the app I find it slightly more complex looking for each time.

I use Connecteam for clocking in, smoothing the process of matching invoices with clock-in sheets, and it provides an easy way to clock in and out. It also facilitates tying up invoices and gives a helpful overall summary.

I appreciate how Connecteam consolidated five different mobile apps our employees used into a single platform, streamlining our operations and making it easier for everyone to access what they need. The group chat feature has made communication significantly easier, allowing us to eliminate Slack and have a more customizable communication platform. This feature is incredibly valuable because it allows videos and information to be shared more easily, thus enhancing collaboration and information dissemination within the team.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

The AI assistant in Connecteam has room for improvement. It struggles to utilize data from the knowledge base effectively unless the phrasing is nearly verbatim. Additionally, the initial setup was daunting and took a few weeks to implement.

I use Connecteam to consolidate communication apps, reducing the need for multiple downloads. Its customizable platform eliminates Slack, making information sharing easier and more centralized.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

What I like most about Connecteam is how easy it makes managing a team, especially when employees are working remotely or out in the field. Everything is centralized—scheduling, time tracking, communication, and task management—so I don’t have to bounce between multiple tools. The mobile app is also very intuitive, which helps employees clock in, check their schedules, and receive updates with little to no training.

I also really value the communication features. Sending announcements, chats, and updates is fast, and I feel confident the message actually reaches everyone. It has reduced miscommunication and keeps the whole team aligned. Overall, Connecteam saves time, cuts down on confusion, and makes day-to-day team management much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

One thing I don’t like about Connecteam is that some features feel a bit limited unless you’re on a higher-priced plan. As your team grows, the cost can climb quickly, which can be tough for smaller businesses working with tight budgets. At times, it feels like you have to upgrade sooner than you expected just to unlock tools that seem pretty essential.

Another drawback is that the app can sometimes feel overwhelming because so many features are packed into it. Even though it’s powerful, the initial setup takes a decent amount of time, and certain settings aren’t very intuitive. More customization and simpler setup options would go a long way toward making the overall experience smoother.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecteam has helped solve many of the everyday headaches that come with managing a mobile or deskless workforce. Scheduling, for instance, used to be a constant back-and-forth over email or text, which often led to missed shifts and unnecessary confusion. With Connecteam, I can build schedules, share them instantly, and let employees swap shifts or request time off directly in the app. That change alone has saved me hours each week.

Time tracking is another major improvement. Before Connecteam, tracking hours manually felt stressful and was easy to get wrong. Now employees clock in and out through the app, which automatically records their hours and helps reduce payroll errors.

It’s also made communication and compliance much easier. I can send updates, forms, and training materials straight to the team, and I’m able to see who has read them. That keeps everyone aligned and lowers the chance that important information gets missed.

Overall, the biggest benefit is smoother operations with fewer mistakes and less wasted time. I spend far less energy chasing people down for updates or paperwork, and my team has a clear, simple way to stay organized and informed.

I like the forms aspect of Connecteam, as it allows us to receive incident reports or maintenance requests from staff in an inbox. It aids in understanding what our staff require and how we can get the best out of them. Connecteam had more features that appealed to us, and the ability to create a roster was easier. The initial setup was very easy.

I find the way that forms can be viewed a bit problematic. The user experience is a little tricky, and while an admin can view forms, the appearance is not the best. I would like maintenance requests to be easier to sift through.

Connecteam allows all staff updates to be sent in one place, facilitates easy rostering and pay estimations, and simplifies form submission.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I use Connecteam for time tracking, and I find its user interface extremely easy to use. The Kiosk capabilities are fantastic, allowing me to station them around worksites, and staff can clock in and out via their phones, reducing time theft risk. I love that Connecteam syncs timekeeping data with our payroll provider QuickBooks, making payroll a breeze, and it integrates with Zapier automation tools, which allows me to automate several functions related to timekeeping and payroll. These integrations reduce payroll time, and Zapier automations are very useful.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

The customer support is slow.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Connecteam for time tracking and payroll, benefiting from its easy interface, Kiosk capabilities, and mobile tracking. It syncs with QuickBooks and Zapier, reducing payroll time and automating tasks, solving timekeeping and payroll issues.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I like the chat feature and the update feature.  It's nice to be able to connect to my employees who are not computer-based, but still need to stay connected.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

Lack of reporting is very disappointing.  Why can't I get an attendance report?  The slide out interface for time off. The menu interface where to access time off full picture, takes two different menus (user and time off).  The repeated outages.  And mostly, the horrendous support.  We are leaving it after 1 year due to the lack of so much functionality and bugs.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is streamlining our PTO process in terms of employee self-input.  However, the reporting isn't there. It also solved the issue of lines waiting for the few clocks, and now people can just clock in on their phones. It made it where people can check their available PTO while at home.  However, it doesn't calculate time off accruals correctly, so you'll constantly have to be adjusting it.
