The Conga CPQ Sales team is truly excellent. During our purchase of Conga CPQ, we reached out to the Conga Sales team with our requirements, and they provided a concise demo while also clearly explaining some current limitations of CPQ with large cart, along with plans to address them in the future. All responses from the Sales team were quick, professional, and timely.

**What do you dislike about Conga Advantage CPQ?**

The Sales team promised that the large cart limitations would be resolved in the near future, but those limitations are still present and stopping us to close large deals on time.

**What problems is Conga Advantage CPQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Because of the help we got from Conga CPQ sales team we were able to choose a perfect product with necessary customizations on top of it for our end user. Sales team also trained our internal users with their CPQ knowledge making our team better at Conga CPQ. We utilize it for Quoting large carts for our important clients.

Conga CPQ has made quoting much more straightforward for our sales team. The system guides users through product choices and pricing so they don’t have to guess or calculate things on their own. It applies the right rules automatically, which keeps quotes consistent and avoids mistakes. Because it works inside Salesforce, everything stays in one place and is easy for reps to use. The support is very responsive since we have deployments frequently related to on going deployments every week we get the help we need from conga team 24/7

Setting up products, pricing, and rules takes time, especially when there are many variations. For administrators, it requires planning and testing before changes can be rolled out.

What I like about Conga CPQ is flexibility in handling complex configuration, pricing and approval workflows. Since it is built on salesforce platform , it helps sales team to work within a familiar environment while keeping data consistent.Once properly configured, it improves quote accuracy and reduces manual efforts. The customer support they provide is very good and they resolve complex issues in timely manner. Once user are familiar with product , its easy to use for day to day quoting. It can be easily integrated with other external systems as well.

While Conga CPQ is powerful solution, it does come with a learning curve.The initial set up and configuration can be complex and usually require experienced resources.Some part of the user interface could be more intuitive, and troubleshooting can be complex. However, once these challenges are addressed, the platform performs reliably and delivers strong value.

As a consultant at Align tech, I work extensively with Conga CPQ. I found it has realiable solutions for managing complex product configurations and pricng models. We use Conga CPQ on daily basis. from implementaion and suppoet perspective Conga CPQ provides strong configurability to adapt to evolving business requirements. Once implemented corrects it scales well and supports long-term growth. The toght integration with salesforce is a major plus point. It enables seamless data flow across Accounts, opportunities, quotes, orders, Assets and downstream processes which improves transparency and spees-up the Quote-To-Order lifecycle. Sales team gets benefits from generating faster and more accurate quote genartion while finance gain  confidence in pricing compliance. Through out our implementation and the on the going business whenever we are in need of assistance Conga Customer support is assisting us with all the queries and suggestions.

**What do you dislike about Conga Advantage CPQ?**

As a consultant, my main concern is that with Conga CPQ is it's steep learning curve and maintainance complexity. Advanced pricing rules and configurations requrie strong documentation and it's time consuming in troubleshooting and fixing the issues. From a user experience perspective, Conga CPQA feels functional but dated. NAvigation isn't intutive for sales users, it needs multiple clicks often requires training that natural usability.

Conga CPQ solves the problem of complex, error-prone quoting by automatic product configuration, pricing, and discount goveranace within salesforce. We love the way Conga handles their integration with other products. For example, to integrate DocuSign with Conga CPQ, they provide a UI named Configuration Home, where we can enter all integration details and complete the process with a single click. This is why we love Conga—they understand how to make processes simple.

**What do you dislike about Conga Advantage CPQ?**

We understand that Conga releases new features, but the initial documentation for these features is not good, and every time we need to understand how to use them, we are required to reach out to Conga Support. They need to improve their documentation.

**What problems is Conga Advantage CPQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Conga CPQ and the support we receive for this product from the Conga Technical Support team are really good. Conga is putting so much effort into releasing new updates three times a year for CPQ with new and cool features. Conga provides CPQ integration with CLM and other products such as DocuSign and Adobe for sending quote documents, and integration with drives such as Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox to store the accepted documents securely.

Conga CPQ documentation is very good, with a tree-like structure and useful filters. We can now filter the documentation based on product and known issue topics. The new documentation portal looks good from a UI perspective and also provides quick results.

**What do you dislike about Conga Advantage CPQ?**

Conga CPQ does not provide an action panel like the one it provides for CLM, and due to this, we needed to build our own custom action panel for Proposals, which took time.

**What problems is Conga Advantage CPQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Conga CPQ has all the basic features we need and supports multiple languages and currencies for different regions. We can use their custom labels for language support and their currency conversion feature to sell products in different regions. We can have a base price list containing all products and separate price lists for different regions with different currencies, taking products from the base price list and applying currency conversion.

We like how Conga keeps releasing new versions of their product. For example, we were previously using X-Author for Contracts 1.0, which was an installation file, and we were facing many issues. Now we use their cloud extension named X-Author for Contracts Advanced, which they manage from their end. Positives of the new version are that there is no machine dependency and automatic updates are available.

We do not like the time it takes for them to fix a simple product bug in Conga CPQ and expect the Conga Engineering team to fix it.

Previously, we were struggling with our quote generation, and our quote-to-customer process was slow. However, after using Conga, quote generation is now fast, as we use their API to automate the entire process from quote request to acceptance phase. Customers are happy because they receive their quotes on time with properly generated documents using Conga.

I mostly like Conga CPQ's user interface. With the CPQ admin, part of Conga CPQ, I can handle multiple tasks like configuring products, creating price list, setting constraint rules, and establishing price metrics and product attribute rules all in one single window. This setup saves significant time by eliminating the need to switch between different windows, which is really convenient.

**What do you dislike about Conga Advantage CPQ?**

Upgrading Conga CPQ to a new version was a major concern for us. One of our users mistakenly upgraded, and then when we wanted to revert back to the previous version, we found it impossible. We had to uninstall the current version, which led to losing our entire configuration and data. It required a lot of effort to reinstall and set things up again. Also, the initial setup of Conga CPQ wasn't easy because it was handed over from a third-party implementation. We're still facing challenges with the complex product structure and heavy pricing.

Conga Support now has the functionality to enable their managed package logs for us, so instead of connecting with them every time, we can simply ask them to enable the logs and debug the issue on our own.

The Conga case creation portal, which is built on force.com, is really slow and asks many questions. Even for raising an S1 case, we are required to fill in numerous details, taking around 15+ minutes just to raise a case.

**What problems is Conga Advantage CPQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been working with Conga Support on our issues for a very long time, and the support they provide is truly amazing. When we raise a Conga case, they reach out to us via Teams chat and connect with us. We explain the issue to them, and they note everything down and send us a meeting summary. Based on the urgency, they resolve the issue either on the same day or within a week and share a summary of the issue along with articles that help us understand how it was resolved.

I really like the product configuration functionalities in Conga CPQ. The pricing functionalities are also great, including pricing rules and custom pricing features. There are a lot of features available, and code generation is very helpful. I appreciate the order management and invoice generation as well. The main standout functionalities for me are the product configuration and pricing. Additionally, I like that Conga CPQ has introduced its own platform, which allows for scalability and high performance without limitations. It is particularly beneficial since it is API-driven, enabling customers to integrate and utilize the benefits of all the functionalities easily.

**What do you dislike about Conga Advantage CPQ?**

Conga CPQ is quite a complex product, and it takes some time to learn if you are getting started with your implementation. If you have detailed requirements about products, pricing, and everything, it may take more time to get accustomed. There are some issues, like if you find a bug, it may take some time to get it resolved. The documentation could be improved to be more helpful with more use cases, which would aid end users in defining their use cases. Also, the initial setup wasn't quite easy, as we had to go through required training to understand how it works.

After using a legacy CRM system with complex pricing and bundling for 25 years, our organization decided to modernize by migrating to Conga CPQ. We love their collaboration request feature, where we can have a single configuration but multiple people can collaborate, and at the end the configuration gets finalized and generated. The way Conga handles this with smoothness is truly amazing.

We don't like Conga's documentation around the features they have. They have good features, but their documentation lacks necessary configuration details with good examples.

Conga CPQ doesn't help with code creations or modifications when the customer wants changes midterm. It's very difficult to modify an order once a quote is converted to an order. **What do you like best about Conga Advantage CPQ?**

In BSC, we are able to achieve the desired business use case with Conga CPQ. Specifically, CPQ is very flexible and can be integrated easily with our internal database and Conga's own platform. All the custom code is stored easily in one place on the platform.

**What do you dislike about Conga Advantage CPQ?**

Overall, we are very happy. Sometimes, we have seen outages in services which can be improved proactively by the Conga team.

**What problems is Conga Advantage CPQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are managing our offers/tenders using Conga CPQ. Since we went live, we have seen very few bugs in the system, our process has improved, and we are getting fixes for every issue in a timely manner from the Conga team.

I like the promotions and incentives feature in Conga CPQ. It allows our customers or businesses to select products for a particular time, getting better benefits or profits from them. This feature helps improve or increase our overall revenue.

While we were implementing Conga CPQ's promotions and incentives, the UI sometimes isn't very useful, and users get confused. They often need to refer to the documentation, which sometimes isn't that helpful.

**What problems is Conga Advantage CPQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Conga CPQ helps us create product price lists, manage product attribute and constraint rules, and handle promotions and incentives. We expect it to resolve our seasonal selling issues, improve revenue, and increase efficiency and customer retention.

**What do you like best about Conga Advantage CPQ?**

I have recently worked on both Salesforce and Conga CPQ for different use cases in my organisation. Conga CPQ stands out in almost all the areas like ease of implementation, number of OOB features, easy to integrate with different external tools and very easy to use and understandbale. It offers great UI to set up complex products and its attributes, and easy CART UI that give you a clear understanding on discounting and final pricing.

**What do you dislike about Conga Advantage CPQ?**

The only big disadvantage is the time taken by Conga to fix the product bugs.

**What problems is Conga Advantage CPQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our major road blocker was to go for a full revenue solution that Conga resolved for us. We are now using the whole revenue solution from CPQ to CLM to Order managements integrated with their conga SIgn. This has reduced the overall cost and efforts for us.

I used conga CPQ during my FICO end to end implementation here i found very good thing about conga CPQ that we can customize pricing model base on our use cases using their configuration like price rule price ruleset, matrix and just in case if not achieve use-case case then conga given very good feature to customize using Pricing call back class.
also Right now I am using CONGA platform which is really good and fast in processing
