**What do you like best about ComplyAdvantage?**

I like that ComplyAdvantage is easy to use and allows searching using additional information like date of birth and country, which saves us time by ruling out unnecessary matches. The fuzziness function works well, and the layout is user-friendly. The filter options are helpful for finding specific cases, and it's convenient that it can be referred directly to a team member in a different department.

**What do you dislike about ComplyAdvantage?**

Sometimes the articles or links linked to the matches don't work, which can be frustrating as you have to try and find it on open sources to rule it out. Maybe it should include more sources because sometimes there may only be one article link on ComplyAdvantage, but when you Google part of a sentence, you find more articles related to that same case. Another thing is that the link to a specific case doesn't always take you to that case; it just takes you to the general page, and you have to research using the number.

**What problems is ComplyAdvantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ComplyAdvantage for screening potential clients, which puts our minds at ease about onboarding. The platform's easy search with date of birth and country saves time by reducing unnecessary matches.

**What do you like best about ComplyAdvantage?**

Comply Advantage was able to come-up with an easy to use and bright interface that anyone in the industry or learning about the AML industry can easily grasp and understand. The snappiness of the menus and the straightforward results which will help you identify your matches quickly is an amazing feature to begin with.

Furthermore, the customer support that team and I have been receiving are nothing but spectacular, cause we are being updated from time-to-time with relevant updates with our queries and requests. This is in the form of email and even via video calls to communicate effectively the discussion.

**What do you dislike about ComplyAdvantage?**

What I would love to see more in the platform is a more flexible usage of extraction of reports that are commonly used for reporting to the company stakeholders. This is to make sure that the users can do it on-the-go rather than seeking assistance to the Comply team which might take some time. Flexibility is adding more critical details and menus apart from the basic columns that you might see when opening the system.

**What problems is ComplyAdvantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It rule out the issues of having to run a risk with our clients that might be a potential PEP or anything that has crimes committed in the past or present. This ensures that we are mitigating the risks that we have for the business and keeping it safe.

**What do you like best about ComplyAdvantage?**

I use ComplyAdvantage for transaction monitoring and sanctions/PEP/adverse media screening, and I appreciate how it provides a more efficient and user-friendly platform for these tasks. I like how simple it makes implementation and continued tuning. The relationship managers are really hands-on and helpful in making changes to continuously improve usage and data. ComplyAdvantage fixes problems I experienced with my previous software, like outdated data collection and user experience. It was very easy to set up on our end, aside from some challenges with our API development; ComplyAdvantage made everything else very easy.

**What do you dislike about ComplyAdvantage?**

I would like a QC process that adds another review layer within the platform. I don't like that this isn't a feature in the platform now.

**What problems is ComplyAdvantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ComplyAdvantage provides an efficient and user-friendly platform for transaction monitoring and screening. It solves data collection, rule creation/tuning, and user experience issues that were outdated and non-scalable.

**What do you like best about ComplyAdvantage?**

It makes due diligence much easier because I can upload a full list of companies (such as subsidiaries and related entities), along with a list of employees and directors, and then screen everything very quickly.

**What do you dislike about ComplyAdvantage?**

There’s sometimes a lot of random noise in the adverse media section. I often find that items being flagged as adverse media aren’t actually adverse media at all. For example, it might just be a company missing targets in its latest press release, and I wouldn’t consider that adverse media.

**What problems is ComplyAdvantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me perform due diligence on both private and public investment opportunities. AML and sanctions risks can affect any investment, and ComplyAdvantage helps me spot those risks by screening key executives and related entities.

I love using ComplyAdvantage for Sanctions, PEP, and Adverse Media screening, as it seamlessly integrates with Notabene. The platform improves our efficiency by taking care of tasks automatically, reducing the need for manual handling. I really appreciate the simple layout of their user interface, which is easy to navigate. Their support staff and account managers meet with us regularly, ensuring any issues or concerns are addressed personally. ComplyAdvantage's account manager has built a great working relationship with our team through monthly meetings, adding real value to our collaboration. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, and the platform aids the entire company by mitigating risks during client onboarding, which benefits everyone.

The UI in ComplyAdvantage is definitely not the best and could use improvement - although I understand that this has been addressed in the Mesh platform update (which our team has not migrated to yet)

ComplyAdvantage is a game-changer because it actually understands context. Instead of just doing basic name-matching that flags every person with a common name, it uses AI to filter out the noise and only show you relevant hits. It’s a huge time-saver because it cuts down on those annoying "false alarms," letting you focus on real risks without having to dig through hundreds of useless search results. It’s reliable, fast, and does a great job of keeping things accurate.

**What do you dislike about ComplyAdvantage?**

ComplyAdvantage is great for accuracy because it filters out the noise and only shows hits that actually matter, which saves a ton of time on false alarms. However, the review process can be a pain. The interface forces you to write all your notes in one single paragraph without any line breaks or spacing. It’s annoying because you can't clearly separate different hits unless you use entirely different boxes, which just makes the whole review look cluttered and harder to read.

The biggest benefit is that it stops you from drowning in thousands of useless search results. In older systems, if you search for a common name, you’d get every person on earth with that name. ComplyAdvantage uses AI to only show you relevant hits—the ones that actually match the risk profile you're looking for.

**What do you like best about ComplyAdvantage?**

I find ComplyAdvantage to be a really great solution for screening our customers and we've been using it for more than five years. The support from the ComplyAdvantage team has been crucial, especially during our data migration to the Mesh platform. They were always ready to help, providing efficient instructions and were extremely polite. I am extremely excited and happy with the screening outcomes we're receiving, especially with the new platform implemented. I particularly appreciate the flexibility of the screening configuration, which can be adjusted for specific screenings like sanction screenings with wider fuzziness levels. The efficiency of the screening that's returned to us for review is something I like the most. The initial setup was very easy, and the migration of data to the new mesh platform was easy to perform as well. The interaction with the team stands out as the best compared to other vendors.

**What do you like best about ComplyAdvantage?**

ComplyAdvantage has been an invaluable partner for us for many years, and it’s genuinely a tool we like working with. 
The interface after the migration to the new technological set-up was quite new for us, but we are getting used to it really quickly. The most widespread use case for us is customer screening and monitoring, and ComplyAdvantage perfectly meets our needs in that domain on a day-to-day basis. 

From the technical side, the integration process is smooth and predictable, and the solution scales very well, whether you are integrating with a large institution with hundreds of thousands of customers or a small startup with hundreds of customers. 

Account management and customer support often exceed expectations

**What do you dislike about ComplyAdvantage?**

Couldn't really name any of the major drawbacks. Like with any other system, you can occasionally get into duplicate or very similar profiles for the same individual, which means some extra manual review.

ComplyAdvantage helps us solve the very real problem of identifying and managing AML, sanctions, PEP, and adverse media risk at scale. ComplyAdvantage is an AI-driven platform for KYC/AML that helps institutions with transaction monitoring in regulated environments. Above all, it’s SaaS-based, which makes it cost-effective. It gives organizations the operational efficiency, faster onboarding of customers and better risk assessment and last not the least better compliance

**What do you dislike about ComplyAdvantage?**

One of the main things organisations always look at is cost and ROI, and this is where it falls short, because the cost compared to the competition is very high. Another major concern is support, which is critical for any organisation, especially when choosing a product that has regulatory requirements. Some organisations also find the product difficult to use due to user interface issues, and this may be largely tied to gaps in training and support. Last but not least, the high false-positive ratio can force organisations to work overtime, even though it’s an AI-driven SaaS product.

In particular, the product adopted within our organisation is used for AML, and it helps the organisation across geographies by enabling us to access data at the global HO level.

Design of Governance Reports and Analytics can be sometimes challenging and not fit for purpose. However, working with Comply team who have been positive about helping with improvements

Implementation of Agentic AI for productivity gain. Some governance reporting. Development of screening tools and keeping up with new industry and regulatory changes. I use ComplyAdvantage for sanction screening and rescoring of individual and corporate clients. I value the risk scoring and consumption screening features, especially when it comes to screening for potential issues like theft. ComplyAdvantage effectively detects negative associations abroad, such as corruption and money laundering, which is crucial for our work.

I think the rescoring could be improved. Actually, to be honest, the initial setup is not that easy. It's quite, I don't know, difficult.

ComplyAdvantage impressed me with its seamless implementation process and the flexibility it offers, allowing users to either tailor rules to their needs or utilize the pre-built library. The case management features are strong, and being able to view alerts by entity gives a thorough perspective on customer behavior, which is extremely helpful for effective risk monitoring. Additionally, users have reported that the platform is intuitive and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about ComplyAdvantage?**

It would be beneficial to have notification triggers for escalated cases and the ability to tag users within the system for follow-up actions. While this isn’t a major drawback, it would be a valuable addition to improve workflow and collaboration.

It is helping us improve our ML/TF mitigation by providing an automated solution for transaction monitoring. We see it as a tool that is scalable and will support the business in achieving a stronger AML/CTF posture.

**What do you like best about ComplyAdvantage?**

I like ComplyAdvantage for its understandable and user-friendly interface, which makes it easy to start working with it right away, even if it's your first time using it. The fast and well-optimized search for potential matches is very efficient, allowing me to create a searching profile with my own parameters. I appreciate the flexibility of setting the fuzziness interval percentage to suit my needs rather than being limited to predefined options like low, medium, or high.

**What do you dislike about ComplyAdvantage?**

For me, it's not very comfortable that it's logging out every time you end a session on your PC. For example, it would be good to add Google Authenticator to use it without logging in every session or day. And you need to be assigned on the screening - put the relevant status, and so on. You cannot leave a comment about true or false positive in the match so the client would be assigned to you automatically without additional actions.

I use ComplyAdvantage for AML, where it helps with downloading screening reports needed for client onboarding. The understandable interface and customizable search options allow me to start working quickly and efficiently.

**What do you like best about ComplyAdvantage?**

My firm uses ComplyAdvantage for customer screening and without doubt the most useful feature it has is the configurability available through the user interface. It saves so much time and enables for quick responses to issues identified as we are able to amend our own search profiles, the lists we screen against, our fuzziness matching percentage and notifications we wish to receive. There is also a range of configurations that the ComplyAdvantage team help you set up in order to strike the balance between having effective controls whilst reducing false positive rates such as name logic and PEP out of office timescales. Generally, the user interface is really easy to use and the tool is reliable which makes our teams jobs easier.

**What do you dislike about ComplyAdvantage?**

We have communicated with ComplyAdvantage previously about their responsiveness to our help tickets/emails. We have experienced times where it has taken them several days/up to a week to respond to a query. They have taken this feedback on board and we continue to see improvements which is positive.

**What problems is ComplyAdvantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main issue associated with screening is always going to be managing the volume of false positives whilst ensuring you are identifying true matches. As mentioned previously in my review, ComplyAdvantage provide many configurable options to assist in reducing the likelihood of false positives and we have been able to work with them to ensure our work queues are manageable. We have needed to conduct remedial work over the past year which posed a very large problem for us and Comply provided excellent assistance in helping us bulk close and tidy up alerts, ensuring our audit trails are clear.

The only comment I would have about the platform as a whole is the Search Certificate document that is created once a compliance check is made - this could more clearly show the result of the check so as to easily show that the entity has been approved. The real-time capabilities are impressive, and integration is quite straightforward. The rules logic is, allowing you to build according to your needs.

The procedure to release new rules, from the testing, simulation and deployment can be a bit challenging sometimes, and in many occasions we had to rely on ComplyAdvantage support which would defeat the purpose of a self-service platform and speed.

Also one other thing, the API integration to export data from the platform to other downstream systems is not that straight-forward and not close to real-time (it generates export, which are also available max for 90 days)

Takes a while to get to know but once there, ease of use is good.

The continual uplift of Anti Money Laundering obligations, sanctions obligations, regulatory expectations and global compliance requirements.

Alert quality can be inconsistent, main reason service was removed from API. Advanced tuning and customization could be more intuitive.
