Commvault Cloud Pros and Cons

I have been working on Commvault last 1 year.

My experience with Commvault was very impressive because of its data protection capabilities. Commvault provides backup, recovery, and data management for physical & Virtual environments. It supports different types of platforms like Windows, Linux, VMware, AWS, and Azure. it will have the ability to scale up. CommVault is suit.It has features like routine backup and recovery, making all tasks easier for IT teams to manage data protection. If we talk about performance then it provides very good performance in terms of backup speed, recovery time & resources utilization.able for all sizes of business. For smaller businesses, cost was a major barrier.

Commvault Complete Backup and Recovery can pretty much back up anything; it is like having a toolbox with lots of different tools to help with all sorts of different challenges. It is great at just doing the simple things like File server or VM backups but allows you to also solve complex backup issues with workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is fairly complex, so it is a steep learning curve if you want to use the more advanced features that it offers. The new HTML console helps to reduce the complexity but it would be great if there were even more wizards to help with the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I did not have any bad experiences with the software so far and everytime we needed to perform any function, it was working as expected Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Support for one. Recently, its become very difficult to get proper support. The reporting tools are extremely difficult to use, often resulting in just a "wall of text" with no context or what anything means. The aging of backups, if you misconfigure or walk into a pre-set CV can be extremely difficult to recover space or get rid of backups that are not needed. Not very intuitive. I like best about Commvault Cloud its strong security and comprehensive data management. The automated backups and detailed compliance features make it reliable and efficient for protecting our data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I dislike about Commvault Cloud is its complex interface, which can be difficult to navigate. It also sometimes has slower backup and restore speeds compared to other solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
