My team and I learned the hard way that virtual meetings were a complete disaster a few years ago during the pandemic. Some of the tools we tested were cut again and again, others were so intricate that it seemed like a computer science degree was needed to handle them and others did not achieve the results we expected. Well, that was until a colleague mentioned GoTo Meeting. I was surprised by the stability of the connection when we first used it. There were no interruptions, delays or frustrating slow motion. Everything was clear: the audio, video and screen sharing feature. Whenever I had to do a presentation or demonstration, screen sharing quickly became one of my favorite features. As incredible as it may seem, all I had to do was show my screen to simplify a really complicated concept. The most important thing is that everything went perfectly. It seems a bit outdated compared to other platforms, as the user interface lacks modernity and intuition. Sometimes you may think you’re using a tool from the last decade. I have 4 retail stores and the phones in 1 store quit working. I emailed GOTO to get "REPLACEMENT" NOT ADD ON phones. I called the cusotmer support team to get them installed. After 5+ hours the GOTO representative said everything was fixed. It was almost closing time for the store. I received a complaint from Corporate stating the phones were not working. Accutally it was ringing at one of my other stores. I then check all the stores and 3 of the 4 stores phone were routed to the wrong store. I called back the next day to customer service and after another 4 hours of my and my employees time at each store GOTO got it corrected. Then I received my CC bill where I pay my reoccuring payment each month and it went up nearly 100.00. I authorized no changes to my bill. There shoul d be no change to my bill for replacing exsiting phones. I was also told I would receive a credit for my and my employeess time lost for GOTO installing the phone wrong. I have now emailed and called multiple times and no one can or will help. GOTO representatives only say they have forwarded to Finance which you can not speak with. I have everything in email so I will be turning this over to an attorney. DO NOT DO BUSSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL REGRET IT. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

GotoConnect gives me a full-featured PBX, just like something a big company would have, for an excellent price. It makes no sense to go to any other carrier when you have such an extensive set of features. Being able to seamlessly integrated digital phones, computer headsets, and cell phones as part of my overall PBX gives me unlimited freedom in how to run my business. Theinitial setup was a breeze. And I can make changes on the fly and present whatever type of phone experience I'd like for my callers. I use this system every day mutliple times a day and it has a solid presence in my business. Probably the only downside is that I probably get more disconnected calls (mid call) with this system than with a traditional land line. But it's probably less than I get with a cell phone. And it's no telling if the problem is with me or with my caller. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The video and audio quality are usually solid, even with spotty internet connections. Screen sharing is smooth, and the interface is pretty intuitive, so even the less tech-savvy people in the group can hop on without too much trouble. However, it does feel a bit… plain. There’s no standout feature that really differentiates it from competitors like Zoom or Teams, especially now that everyone is jumping on the virtual meeting bandwagon. You can show your product online and have an interactive discussion during the demo and can do either one on one or one with a small group or a small group with a small group. One of the features we like best is you can switch the screen so you can see the other person's computer and let them drive and you can see exactly what they are doing and direct them accordingly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our GoTo Connect phone system will go down from time to time and reaching someone in their support center has it's challenges. While on hold, my calls often get dropped leaving me to call back again. Certain phones in my clinic disconnect from our other phones from time to time. When you connect with someone from support you are often speaking with someone from another country with a language barrier. Yesterday, our phones were down for an entire day which hurt our business and cost us a lot of money. The app feature wasn't working either. I tried calling their support number several times which had me on hold each time for 15 minutes and then my call would drop. I would highly recommend using a local vendor because with this company you are nothing but a number. I asked to be released from a contract they placed me in and they said the outage and all my concerns does not warrant me to be released from my contract which is why I'm taking time to write this review. Sadly, you won't find a Google review for this company which is strange and I can now see why. Unfortunately my services with them is no longer a good fit nor will they share a survey with me when asked to share my displeasure. I feel stuck in a bad agreement so I would recommend looking at a local telecommunications vendor for better phone services for your business.
