Dual pane window allow user to view 2 folders at the same time, easily select files that needs to be copy/move/delete, each pane can have multiple tabs as well, great tool for organizing files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lack of features like folder comparison/directory synchronization, multiple file rename. Additional features that only available in the paid PRO version, such as using ftp within the application, connect to Goolge Drive, OneDrive and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using CO for several months on my Mac. The reason I was looking for a handy dual-panel file manager was that for several years I have been an extensive user of Total Commander in Windows and got used to mange files that way. I have tested several dual-panel f.ms. until now and found CO very a user-friendly, easy to use, quick in action and veeeeery stable application :) that is why I would like to recommend Commander One to everyone that want to work quickly and efficiently with their files in a Mac environment :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is sometimes slow when deleting files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
After switching from windows to mac, I had trouble finding a suitable alternative to s3 browser, which introduced me to commander one. Apart from being a reliable file manager, i really enjoy its dual pane feature which lets me copy, edit, compare or move my files easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The one thing that I dislike about commander one is that users have to use the pro pack to unlock several features like command line, preview file contents etc.
Also, it would be better if users could search a file by directly giving the full file path similar to S3 browser. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The app comes with the default two-panel design so it's easier to move files between different folders. It can also connect to multiple cloud services and treat them as if they are local folders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For those who are used to the modern look of Finder, Commander One seems like old-school geeky applications and can be confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I prefer CommanderOne over Apple’s Finder. It is highly customizable and offers more advanced features. It is fast and easy to use and best of all it is free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It does cost $30 for the pro version but I think that it is reasonable given all the features that are offered. There really isn’t anything I dislike about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
