**What do you like best about Comcast Business VoiceEdge?**

I really like the business phone system features of Comcast Business VoiceEdge. When we have a share call, I can see my coworkers' lines and know when they answer it. It also has a busy lamp field that monitors phone activity in real-time. I love the automated attendant, which acts like a virtual receptionist, giving greetings and routing calls, and it really helps.

**What do you dislike about Comcast Business VoiceEdge?**

The integration into AppFolio is a little tedious. Sometimes it doesn't take down the information from the call like my usual e 8x8 system does. So I just have to find a way to incorporate it into AppFolio to where it actually filters out those calls the way 8x8 did.

**What problems is Comcast Business VoiceEdge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Comcast Business VoiceEdge to efficiently manage calls for my businesses. It helps me filter calls, identify the caller ID, and know if they're local or long distance. It also supports call waiting, call transferring, and directing clients to different communities.

possibility to have a lower cost, due to bundling of internet services

The UI was clunky/not intuitive, the service required physical deskphones (whether they were plugged in or not), and you aren't able to text from their service. It was hard to gather meaningful data about call volume, times, etc. There was also no integration for Zapier.

It allowed our employees to have a direct number and be able to answer calls on the go and not only at their physical desk phones.

**What do you like best about Comcast Business VoiceEdge?**

Has been easy to use for years, we implemented this into our infrastructure years ago when we upgraded customer support has been fair enough to deal with. This has been our main communication path for everyday use for sometime now, absolutely doesn't lack features again very easy integration. We have looked at other options as our business has changed and the convenience there are multiple alternatives all having a fair amount of pros and cons I can't say which is the best choice just that Business VoiceEdge has been great for us and might just be our continued provider however time will tell.

It's the convenience but a negative would be the cost at this point as the business is changing.

What I like the most is that I can forward my calls to my laptop and my cell phone when I'm out of the office.

My biggest dislike is that VoiceEdge loses its connection or drops calls when they are being answered.

I can't complain about the phone and customer service.

**What do you dislike about Comcast Business VoiceEdge?**

My issue is with the sales rep who promised something we did not qualify for based on our plan. To our surprise, the contract I signed is not the same as that of Comcast.
One of the biggest issues is that Comcast does not employ a sales force, and no one wants to be liable for it. Their excuse was that I might sign another Contract because it was rejected, and then the rep told me to sign a new one. This is not the situation because I received a copy of the document I signed from DocuSign. This is a fraud! BE AWARE of what you sign and do not believe about their bad sales practices; they want a commission and ask for everything in writing.

They want me to sign a new contract to receive what was promised to me in the first place, and I won't agree to a cover-up.
I want to know who signed the other contract!!!!!!

It works (I can make and receive calls). Voice mail to email works great.

The admin console to configure options and users is not user-friendly and inconsistent. It's not easy to make user changes when an employee leaves or need to change an extension.

For us it's just basic phone usage. We don't need advanced "unified communications."

I like how the sales and installation team played a detailed implementation play that allowed us to know what would happen and when.  This way, we could plan for any work stoppages.

**What do you dislike about Comcast Business VoiceEdge?**

I was not too fond of the sales negotiation process.  It made the process go relatively longer than we wanted.  We ended up going through 3 or 4 different proposals.

**What problems is Comcast Business VoiceEdge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mobility.  We could have our different departments in the field no longer have to come back into the office to check messages.  This saved us on expenses, helped increase daily productivity, and eliminated some over time costs.

The most helpful thing about Comcast Business was it was easy to work, I didn't really need to call the customer service department much because it was self-explanatory

The item that I disliked about Comcast Business was their customer service department. They are hard to get ahold of, they are hard to understand and most of the time, it would take 2-3 calls for them to fix the issue.

The biggest problem we had with Comcast Business was the connection. They always had the service dropped, I always had to call them about 2-3 times a month. Then most of the time it was their issue that we had to wait a while to get back up and when you are trying to run a business, that is not a good thing.

Not as user-friendly as other VOIP services. Also unreliable as it depended on Comast internet service which constantly has issues.

It provided more control than our old analog service provided, such as forwarding to other numbers when the service was down.

You are able to bundle it in with other services such as data and cable and can save going that route. The way it can be integrated with Microsoft Teams is also nice since everyone is mostly aware of Teams now and prefer using as well.

I don't really like the fact there isnt much unity there as some of the VoIP phone solutions or voice services offer one or two specific phones so everyone can be used to. Also if not bundling Comcast services I feel like it is more expensive than some solutions that can do a whole lot more feature wise.

**Recommendations to others considering Comcast Business VoiceEdge:**

I would certainly try it out if you use other Comcast services, are a small business and are yet to move to a VoIP system.

You are solving the problem of having a voice solution an entire business can share. Benefits from it include lower costs than some PRI systems and such and a whole new world of features those old systems didnt offer.

The software was pretty easy to use for the softphone. Customer service was typically easy to reach without super long hold times

Outages were a major issue, there were periods when we were unable to use phones for hours

There are useful features, but learning them and setting them up is overly difficult. Onsite Technicians are excellent.

Sales team does not return calls. Phone support is awful. We lost our 800 numbers multiple times. Once for 3 days. Reporting is non existent. Now both the desktop app and phone app stopped working when I work remotely.

**Recommendations to others considering Comcast Business VoiceEdge:**

Use anyone else. This has been a nightmare. I can't wait for our contract to come to an end.

The salespeople were well spoken, organized, and professional. Kind of like a good con artist.

**What do you dislike about Comcast Business VoiceEdge?**

Where are the conspiracy theorists on Comcast? Come on guys, give me a good reason behind why this company is systematically attempting to stress people to death. There is no way their service can be this bad on accident. Such a perfect example of a burning trash pile of ineptitude, bad design, diabolically unskilled customer service & glitchy interfaces that constantly crash & remove the illusion of control you have CANNOT just spontaneously occur. This is INTELLIGENT DESIGN.

1. Phones lose their settings without cause or action
2. Phone keys cannot be programmed remotely, meaning every staff change requires a manual change to each phone, process  of which is reminiscent of texting "War and Peace" on an archaic Nokia phone.
3. Portal for setting changes glitches and is commonly unusable which often requires a call to tech support.
4. "Tech support" leads you to one of their level 1 techs. Level 1 is an overstatement of their skill. Misinformation is more common that correct information and calls often take an hour after hold times just as long. 
5. No local support options. You will only physically see a salesperson until you sell your soul, and then you are released to above described (briefly and kindly described when compared to reality) portal and phone tech support.
6. System is not designed to support multiple locations easily.
7. Any "major" changes (read "add one person to this call flow") take the work of an upper level tech, which is similar to asking to speak to the Wizard of Oz, and takes weeks
8. Settings for call flow creation are convoluted and often there is no clarity on which settings override other settings.
9. The level of complexity SHOULD allow for a configuration to match every circumstance, but instead it simply adds complexity without sensical design built for real business use. They added features for the sake of features and few build into real usability
10. They are more expensive than smaller options.
11. The size of the company and their comfort in their position in the marketplace have bred a general sense of "we are big and you are small, deal with it. We care not"

Please, do not choose them. I honestly feel I am doing a good service to other business owners out there. I am technically inclined. I am experienced. And I implore you NOT to put yourselves, your employees, your business and your clients through the gambit of nonsense that signing up for Comcast BVE will put you through. Pick. Any. Other. Option. Their size does not translate into a better product. We have been with them for several years, doing our time until our contract expires. If it weren't for their expensive contracts, their business would tank.

None. See above. It created problems we didn't have, using an older system with fewer features. The inabilities that system created for us were much better problems to deal with than undergoing the Comcast nightmare.

Basically nothing anymore. This system is horrible and doesn't work well.

Customer support is never able to help with anything whenever you have problems - they always say to delete the software and redownload the software. Try signing out, try doing this and this, okay we will submit a ticket and you'll never hear from us again.

It's easy on administrators. Users can help themselves to almost anything, and the setup is a breeze. Remote staff can use their cell phones or computers and  keep continuity.

The modern phones are nice and the online availability of changing features without having to call someone is a huge plus.

Some of the features of the Polycom phone systems are not up to our standard and they seem to make simple tasks very difficult.

Internet down issues mean that phones are down too. We experience a lot of outages in our area so this was problematic for our practice.

Saving money, revolutionizing communication in the field and between satellite offices. Overall I feel that this new way of communicating improves staff relations which makes our practice better in general.

I like that I can easily forward phone calls from my work desk phone to my cell phone. "Be Anywhere" feature is great!

I'm not sure if this is a phone issue or an app issue - but I seem to have a lot of fingerprint recognition sign-in issues. I don't have this issue with other apps I use.

I like the option of having more traditional landline service as well as a cell phone. VoIP from Comcast, although not a traditional landline, gives one the feeling of having one. Purchased as a bundle, with other Comcast services, the cost comes out to approximately $19 monthly per line, for the VoIP service.

The call quality is not that clear and the volume is low. Calls are totally dependent on an internet connection, which is not always available, as Comcast users know all too well.

I am able to have dedicated lines for business while keeping cell phones private. I can pick up voice mail on line as well as on the phone, Voice messages are transcribed and available through email.

I like how I can easy take a call from my computer when I am working from home, and just as easily answer it on my cell phone when I am out running around.

Sometimes I get signed out of the app on my phone.  It will still ring when people call me but the main number will show up and not let me see who is calling on the caller ID.

It works great if you are looking for a phone you can easily use at home for business with out having to hook up a phone.  Its on your computer.  Just plug in headset and you are good to go.

I never have to worry about not having clear calls with Comcast VOIP.  The phone equipment that we use with our Comcast VOIP was so easy to use and learn.  VOIP gives us the ability to be a professional organization.

Haven't found out anything that I don't like yet!

Comcast has really come a long way with their customer service support and we have found that the switch was way less painless than we anticipated and it's been easy to troubleshoot and resolve any issues or questions we have had.

**What problems is Comcast Business VoiceEdge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Where we were previously located, we could not have phone systems that supported video conferencing or teleconference options but now that we are located in the middle of the city, the new system with Comcast has been awesome.  Calls are routed with ease and we can do video conferencing and photo sharing with ease.

feature to navigate the tv channel and online streaming . Speed can be maintained by single one call to customer care.

quality channel are limited in bundle of package and every time we need to call for internet speed.

**What do you like best about Comcast Business VoiceEdge?**

Its very good, full featured business phone for long distance call. We have been using this phone sine while in our day to day communication and it works perfect without any noise. This voip provides  few cool and nice features like unlimited international long distance call, Voicemail to email, Directory listening etc. 

**What do you dislike about Comcast Business VoiceEdge?**

Actually for this product there is nothing for dislike but for portable phone batter is an issue. If we continuously use this phone for long meetings then some time battery dies. So its only problem i have seen.

I would really recommend this VOIP phone for business meetings and business communications. This phone is really useful for companies which has geographically  located teams and requires daily meetings between those teams.

**What do you like best about Comcast Business VoiceEdge?**

This phone seems very good for business uses. It provides noise less communication. Audio quality is very good. It also provides some extra features which we are using in our client or staff meetings like  HD calling, Voice to email, Hunt group etc. For long distance call this is best phone. 

**What do you dislike about Comcast Business VoiceEdge?**

Price is bit more compare to other VOIP provider but it actually provides good quality of services for that. Appart form that i haven't seen any major issues with this phone

100% I would recommend this phone for business meetings.

**What do you like best about Comcast Business VoiceEdge?**

This is a great option for reasonable phone service, for personal or business use.  I work out of my home, so I use it for both.  The sound quality is great, and a good product.  When you need service, with out a lot of bells and whistles, multiple lines, video conferencing, etc., this is a good option.  You have the basics need for daily office work.  

**What do you dislike about Comcast Business VoiceEdge?**

Our area tends to have internet outages, since we don't have buried lines.  If your internet is down then you are stuck.  I have noticed when making a large upload over the internet it can cause some issues with the phone, the sound will cut in and out.  Part of this was solved by increasing our internet speed.  

**Recommendations to others considering Comcast Business VoiceEdge:**

If your looking for a reliable source for phone service, that will save your company some money, check out Comcast VoIP as an option.  There are a lot of options, but not all have the same excellent sound quality!

Our company was looking for a phone service that was reasonable, and our employees working from home could use.  This has been the perfect option!  It keeps business expenses reasonable, and makes sure we have dependable phone service for all the workers.

**What do you like best about Comcast Business VoiceEdge?**

The multi-conferencing, call forwarding, transferring calls, texting are easy to use. Meetings are easy to manage during conferencing and answering questions from participants. Those are my likes.

**What do you dislike about Comcast Business VoiceEdge?**

There are delays when participants are trying to join the conferencing most times. Drop calls happen many times during meetings. Those are some of my dislikes. The cost is too high for the service. Support representatives are not that helpful or knowledgeable with tech issues.

**What problems is Comcast Business VoiceEdge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it for meetings and conferencing calls. The benefit is that along with the Comcast VIOP service, I get other services: hard-wired phone service, cable, and the internet.

The best things about Comcast VOIP are how easy it is to use and the good voice quality.

The only issue that I have with this product is that it is a bit pricey. However, it works very well and has great support, so I don't mind paying the price.

If you already are a Comcast user then this is a great option, a little expensive but for the quality of the product the price is worth it.

It's great to be on a call that has good voice quality and not having to worry about the call being dropped.

**What do you like best about Comcast Business VoiceEdge?**

There was really no setup and the system worked fine.  Voice quality was good.  I liked that incoming calls would display on my TV.  I was able to use an inexpensive phone system with multiple stations that I purchased at target.

**What do you dislike about Comcast Business VoiceEdge?**

The cost.  Even with the bundles it turned out to be more expensive than alternatives.

If you are a Comcast customer and want VOIP it makes sense to try it.
