Top Rated Code Avengers Alternatives

I hate it with every inch of my body. This program is my 13th reason why. It doesn't teach you how to program and only makes you go bald from the amount of stress and hair you pull out. This educational tool is possibly the worst way you could learn to code in existence. Scratch tutorials are gods compared to this. I cannot recommend this product to anyone without getting paid a large amount of money and even then I will inform them that they will lose brain cells, want to never program again and will likely have PTSD from computers
Furthermore, this program will only teach you how to code exactly like code avengers and not develop your own style. You can't create your own creative code and have to follow code avengers example to the character or it will deduct points. If you figure out a way to make the program faster and better while getting the exact same output/result it will tell you that you can't continue and won't tell what you did wrong without first deducting points. They have a lot of content for each grade level and are quite engaging, especially for the lower grades. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
BUGS! Tons and tons of bugs. They are extremely unreliable when you need them to work. I will always have to contact their support team, just to have things rectified. Ever since moving to the new server, they promise it would load faster and work more smoothly, but it's still the same. They did 0 testing on their contents and are often bugged and wrong. There are times when my students and myself can't even log in when we need to for class. All this while my school is a paying customer and we're getting a faulty product. They have few different courses available (HTML/CSS, Javascript, Python, etc.) with video lessons and reference guides to use as resources throughout. The lessons are broken down into manageable modules. It's quick and easy to learn the basics, and the interface allows you to track your progress, motivating you to push through the course even if you only have smaller chunks of time available. They break down the concepts well and each lesson builds well upon previous ones. They also have lessons dedicated to fixing code and finding bugs which was a useful skill to work on. I would like to see them go more in depth with the content. The site is set up well and could easily lend itself to more advanced learning, but at present, targets very foundational concepts. Additionally, there were a few bugs within the lessons themselves, in that some of the lessons did not compile properly. The support team was friendly and helpful but took a while to respond. The quizzes should also tell you the correct answers, or have a way to check what the answers were so they can be used as a reference as well as a checkpoint. They were not always easy to follow or input. The interface itself sometimes had issues depending on the browser used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
