cut/paste with citation and Parallel Cites feature Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Parallel Cites is great - however, it needs to be updated to show when cases are non-published in their summaries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

CoCounsel Conquers: Our legal team's journey with this AI-powered virtuoso, blending Sherlock's wit and Google's speed, as we waltzed our way to legal mastery and case-crushing confidence. CaseText´s CoCounsel application is a legal ace!" Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our legal department´s once-beloved manual research, now pales in comparison. We no longer need to hire so many contract attorneys to review discovery documents, which is not good for the country´s GDP. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Westlaw and Lexis provide similar engines but at a much higher price.Although I continue to use the Lexis product, it's because I find that their Shepherd's system is easier to use. If I could only have one, it would be case text. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It sometimes takes an extra step or 2 that really shouldn't be necessary. As an example, I rarely need authority outside of Wisconsin and that should be the default. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The interface is user friendly, I don't get nickeled and dimed for every search that I do. I love that I can copy parts of cases and drop them directly in my document. I also love that the citation is correct. Customer service is outstanding! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would love there to be a feature where I could filter by subpart to a regulation within cases. Sometimes, some cases aren't in Casetext -- I can get a subsequent ruling, for example attorneys fees awarded but can't get the original decision. I wish there was an app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find that the most helpful things about Casetext are that it saves lots of valuable time and is very accurate with search results. The key difference makers for me are features such as CARA AI and Parallel search features. I also love the ability to cite check an entire brief and Casetext in seconds lets me know if the authority my adversary cited is bad law. I also like the ease of cutting and pasting caselaw excerpts with automatic citation. This feature alone saves tons of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is not much I dislike about Casetext at all. The learning curve is short and the experience is very intuitive. They make it really easy to use no matter your tech prowess. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Clean and easy to use interface, it gets the job done, search features are available, it shepherdizes good enough (none of the services are A+), and for the price it is a value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lack of customization and inability to access briefs from appellate cases as well I would through Westlaw. I think this would be much more valuable than the parallel search feature which is nice but not at an appellate lawyer's level. Each case should have the briefs linked. Casetext is simple and intuitive to use and really takes no knowledge other than search syntax, which is available from the search bar. Their customer service and research staff are responsive and have provided quality assistance when we needed to do some more advanced research. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some types of documents that are not usually available, specifically, briefs from appellate cases as one example, but it seems like additional materials are being added all the time. The briefs are more of a "nice to have" for us, so that isn't a deal-breaker. I would love to see more pleadings available though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is quick to search and allows for searches by citation, keyword or phrase. It allows me to obtain case law and statutes very quickly and can copy and paste citations for research. It also provides history for cases and subsequent matters that cite those matters. It is the complete research tool for lawyers. Additionally, its cost is not out of control. I am not able to find Pattern Jury Instructions on it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Casetext has the research resources that I need to win my cases. The searches are smart enough to catch relevant sources that I might not have found otherwise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When you search using a term and the results yield cases with the relevant passage displayed, you can't open the relevant passage in a new tab. I'm submitting a feature request and it should be easy to fix. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Having long been a user of Westlaw, Casetext offers a fast and accurate means of researching cases, with a speed that will shock you if you are used to waiting for the chugging away of prior services. And you are given the option of using to search mechanisms, either key word (bolean) or parallel search. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I miss having access to certain treatises. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that I can use a statement or a question as my "search" and Casetext provides relevant and accurate results. It's saves me so much time to research particular issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish I could narrow my search to specific terms in Black's Law Dictionary in Casetext but I haven't been able to figure this out or it isn't possible yet. I'll keep trying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
