**What do you like best about Clozd?**

My favorite thing about Clozd is the strong relationship our client partner (Chase Pendelton) has built with me and the rest of the team. His value in executing and delivering value is the single biggest reason why I want to keep the service.

**What do you dislike about Clozd?**

The product and tech teams feel like they are behind on the Clozd side. It has taken more effort than it really should to get basics right on the Clozd side. Basic features such as export took years to get right.

**Recommendations to others considering Clozd:**

Would strongly recommend Clozd, but would recommend getting a lot of the details solidified before diving into the program.

**What problems is Clozd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clozd is providing detailed feedback directly from the customer to understand the T-Mobile for Business value proposition and identifying the drivers for why we win and lose.

**What do you like best about Clozd?**

I like how Clozd allows you to segment data by business unit or product/solution. I also like how you can customize notification settings based on a specific competitor or BU that ultimately flows into a customizable alert flow through email.

**What do you dislike about Clozd?**

I think notification settings could be better. I've had trouble setting up specific notification parameters and the system is sending me less/more than what I initially set up the alert to track. I also wish the dashboard was more interactive and/or customizable.

**Recommendations to others considering Clozd:**

It does the job. Clozd has a user-friendly system with applicable filtering, notification flows, tagging, reporting and more. However, it can sometimes feed rudimentary and doesn't provide all the functionality one could want or need.

**What problems is Clozd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clozd provides Insightful data on Win Loss stories and the volume of wins/losses against competitors. It also provides insights into pain points or product/service-specific differentiators that are coming up most commonly across deals.

**What do you like best about Clozd?**

I love the way you are able to view analytics on decision factors, and filter it however you want. The way the data is presented in the platform is really easy to understand, and it's great for keeping track of specific feedback and insights to share internally.

**What do you dislike about Clozd?**

The Salesforce integration is incredibly useful, but has some limitations around filtering that can be frustrating. Same with the survey functionality. That said, they've been making a lot of progress since we signed on, and my CSM and the product team are highly responsive to feedback, so I'm very optimistic.

**Recommendations to others considering Clozd:**

We use Clozd's product as self service rather than as a managed service. If you're looking to manage win loss efforts internally, I'd recommend giving Clozd a shot.

**What problems is Clozd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to conduct win loss interviews in house, but the process of manually sourcing and reaching out to customers and prospects was incredibly time consuming, and after the interviews were conducted, we didn't have a good way of analyzing them for trends. Clozd makes the entire process so much easier, pulling in deals directly from salesforce and automating outreach.

Not Clozd's fault but it's hard to get some clients on the phone

**What do you like best about Clozd?**

They get the interviews we need. And in those interviews, we are able to get the insights we would have struggled to receive doing every aspect of the loss insight process in-house.

**What do you dislike about Clozd?**

As of last year, they did not have a great survey tool to try to get insights from customers or prospects that you don't want to try to interview. So that was a gap that may be fixed by now, or hopefully it will soon.

**What problems is Clozd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Clozd, we are able to dive into the reasons we lose deals. Often in VOC/Win-Loss programs, it's hard to get feedback on losses, as lost prospects often do not want to talk to the company. But with Clozd, we can get that feedback and focus on win and renewal interviews ourselves.

Clozd is helping us to better understand the drivers behind our sales outcomes. The interviews transcripts and survey responses alone are incredibly insightful with rich detail. Clozd primary value comes from the detailed reports/ documentation that they provide to us about their conversations with key decision-makers. Our team is able to take these insights and look for ways to capitalize on them.

I dont have any complaints, the results of working with them has been great. The team has been great to work with and has taken our requests and feedback in stride.

With a great and effective UI it's very easy to understand sales cycles data in an aggregated manner, while still being aware of the actual voice of each customer with relevant client quotes

**What do you like best about Clozd?**

I love Clozd for two reasons. One, they make my life easier by conducting the interviews for us. Our Product Marketing team finds it hard to make time for these. And secondly, the quick view of the trends on why we win and why we lose. This gives you ample guidance on steps you need to take to win more business.

**What do you dislike about Clozd?**

I wouldn't say that there is something that I don't like, but I do find it odd that the reason you win and lose are sometimes the same. But that is based on candid feedback, so there is not much Clozd can do there, except maybe if we could dig deeper and get more specific on what it is that they don't like about a "demo experience" for example.

**Recommendations to others considering Clozd:**

If you are a solo product marketer, you can't live without this tool. Make the budget for it! And if you are a team, make the budget too. With the results from Clozd, you can spend your time enabling your team to win more and close the gaps on why you lose, instead of being on these calls.

Clozd is conducting Win/Loss calls on our behalf to help us keep on top of the reasons why we win and the reasons why we lose. They then also consolidate the feedback from those interviews into very helpful data and reports that help Product Marketers keep an eye on trends.

I would like the automation to be more intuitive and allow me to do test runs before submitting accounts to a specific program.

its only as good as what you put in. therefore if the organization isn't continuously updating the intel it will not be helpful.

Actually being able to hear what customers think of us not just as a purveyor of software, but as a subjective problem-solving tool. Why the prospect elects not to choose us is not just functionality, and so this service helps us as salespeople understand the less 'tangible' reasons through intelligent interviewing.

**What do you like best about Clozd?**

I like the summary of key features/benefits that helped us to win/lose a deal.  The way they categorize information and pay attention to normalizing the experience has been good as a way to filter responses.  Additionally, the interviewers are adept at 'following the clues' during a conversation -- this is not always a strong competency of 'in-house' interviewers.  Clozd has hired and trained their staff really well on this dimension.

**What do you dislike about Clozd?**

Not really anything to mention here outside of carving out time to get into the analyses -- which is on us (the customer).  It would be good to have them do a readout quarterly of key themes they are seeing and to provide their near-term recommendations for areas that we need to improve.

**Recommendations to others considering Clozd:**

If you are trying to do win-loss analysis 'in-house', consider getting a 3rd party like Clozd to achieve an objective set of results. We have often found this to be true because when you take out the feelings/emotions that an 'in-house' analysis will undoubtedly surface (from product, marketing, sales, etc) , you will get actionable feedback from prospects and customers alike.  This result is harder to come by doing this 'in-house' when you are potentially 'leading the reviewer' in a particular way to make things look/feel better.

Clozd lets us know what's happening in our business in a concise, thorough, and (most importantly) consumable way, which helps us to engage other stakeholders across the organization to learn about our wins/losses.

Our Clozd consultant has been amazing - super high quality, thorough interviews. The platform makes it easy to view interviews in aggregate or at an individual level, and the interviews produce insights we otherwise wouldn't have access to.

Not a dislike but they are shipping product fast! So make sure to stay ontop of all the amazing updates.

Work closely with your consultant to indentify the goals of your program. The Clozd consultants are great, but not mind readers. You get out what you put into the program in terms of planning and direction.

We were pleased to find hidden gems in the content of the interview transcripts that enabled us to source testionials, social proof, and deeper case studies for our Advocacy program. The team is also WONDERFUL to work with!

That Clozd is relatively automatic from my perspective helps me get more done. It integrates with our CRM to avoid requiring more work from an operations professional.

**What do you dislike about Clozd?**

Clozd seems expensive, and I'm not convinced yet, that the value of this tool validates the cost. There are also limitations on what the Clozd platform can see in our CRM, history reports, for instance, which require us to create fields on standard objects.

If you have the money, and want unbiased reviews of your sales process, Clozd has been wonderful to work with.

We needed insights into what works and what doesn't for pipeline opportunities. It seems easier for prospects to give feedback to someone uninvolved in the process than to an internal representative. We are now able to see honest feedback, reasons for wins and losses, and these insights inform improvements.

The design and how the answers to the surveys are presented in text.  Gong calls get messy. Clozd provides an extra clean verison of collateral that is easily transferrable to other tools in my tech stack

Decision driver data. I like that we can filter the dashboard by wins and losses. The fact we can drill down into categories and see verbatim feedback that has been collected is hugely valuable. It makes the data really actionable

Tag duplication can sometimes cause an issue when you want to aggregrate data

It's a great tool but obviously the data can only be as good as what you put into it so it requires organisation/discipline from your feedback sources. Get it right and it can work wonders for your company and product strategy

Their online portal did a great job of providing the right level of data depending on what you were looking for. They had the entire transcript, quotes related to key categories as well as an executive summary.

They had a little trouble finding the number of respondents so the recruitment took a little longer than anticipated. But they did a good job of communicating throughout the process so I understood their updated timelines.

It was a great experience working with Clozd to understand our prospecting process from the prospects' points of view.

What is most helpful about Clozd is that they are simple & easy to work with. They do not overcomplicate the research process & get bogged down. They are able to execute.

Our Clozd rep's dedication to our account has been the best part of my experience. She takes the time to understand my goals before conducting each quarter's interviews. Additionally, she is willing to jump on calls with our Product Team to dive into the insights reports she creates.

One of our challenges is that some customers/prospects don't understand that we've partnered with Clozd to collect feedback, so they are hesitant to respond. While I see the benefit of using a third party - helping us remove bias from the interviews - we've run into situations in which the buyer says, "I don’t  know you. The vendor didn't mention there would be an outside entity making an inquiry. So, I don't know if I should speak with you."

Ensure you have clean data in your CRM before you integrate with Clozd. To get a complete picture of your win/loss data, the fields must properly mapped.

The categorization that Clozd helps to employ - it allows us to group a ton of deal feedback into actionable areas for prioritization. These are not blanket "costs are too high" categories, either - they are more specific than that.

The SSO process had a bit of friction - it was tough as an end user to get access within my organization because of a few bugs in that process. We worked through it, though, and things are working as they should.

Clozd is a great analysis tool focused on a specific type of feedback - deals won/lost and associated customer feedback. I love that focus, and it allows the tool to be way more useful (vs. bundling too many things into one platform and diluting the true value / use case).

Platform is really easy to understand and the call out of decision drivers makes it simple to digest what factors influenced their decision. The ability to share makes it easy to spread this across our organization as well.

I think this has more to do with our specific implementation but the limited number of filters makes it harder to find deals in a certain industry or other segments

Clozd has been very valuable for our organization as we enter new markets and industries. Knowing how we performed against competitors, what the client was expecting, what we delivered on, or where we fell short makes prioritizing much easier. Getting enough responses from customers is difficult and we haven't quite figured out how to increase participation. Clozd as a platform is getting better all the time. Analysis is somewhat limited but has given us insight that we've never had before.

Disconnects between our sales, tech sales, product, and other teams make it difficult to understand why we won or lost an opportunity. Clozd has been very valuable in getting candid feedback and allowing us to celebrate things that went well and improving in areas that didn't.

I think I see internally that not everyone uses Clozd as effectively as they could. This isn't Clozd's fault, but I wonder if there is thought leadership Clozd provides that we are not applying to make sure more people get value out of this.

Think about your internal processes and how you will digest and use this information. It's not as simple as including people on email chains - there should be a regular internal review process for key stakeholders of these insights and someone who owns preparing that.

Understanding the difference between what we think buyers see from our sales efforts and product and what buyers (and those who don't choose you) actually think is critical. Clozd provides this by giving us two things: 1. an impartial 3rd party to talk to the client and get honest feedback 2. a portal to see how all the insights from these customer conversations tell a story about what we offer in the market. We make critical business decisions based on this feedback.

I've used similar services in the past. What I like about Clozd is that I can talk with the person who is doing the outreach prior to engaging with each account. The consultant is very adept at finding information about the buying process that we did not know about, regardless of whether we've won or lost the deal.

It would be nice to capture feedback on every deal we send to Clozd; however, I know that's not possible. They are reaching out to contacts who are busy and must opt-in to spend their time and engage in a conversation.

Clozd is great. We have had the most success obtaining interviews by doing a warm hand-off immediately after our deals close between Clozd and our key account contact.

Clozd was instrumental in not just understanding where we lost out on bids but also in reconnecting and identifying our strenghts with current clients. The feedback was invaluable as was the prompt and couteous manner in which they attended to every aspect of this project. In particular,special mention to Cam England and Jonathan Stevens - they were so nice to deal with as well as excellent attention to detil and efficiency in getting this done.

The personable experience applied from the staff as well as the organised and efficient approach in which all client and or prospect feedback was provided. Their portal was super user friendly too.

Perhaps at times a bit too many communciations and maybe just maybe too many calls.! I knwo the team was just being thorough but I had confidence they had it all in hand.

Understanding our weaknesses better. At first, we always thought price was the reason for lsoing a bid - through the Clozd process we quickly discovered that this was not necessarily always the case - in fact, often we had not fully understood the prospects requirements - this was a game changer for us and we have changed much of our sales process to address such deficiencies.
