They are very easy to work with. They can also turn around interviews very quickly and are great at getting responses from prospects.

I think their account managers, who also do the interviewing, could have a bit more in-depth interview training and experience.

Clozd is helpful for us to really get transparent feedback from prospects about everything related to our product. It helps us as we define the product roadmap and identify sales training gaps.

**What do you like best about Clozd?**

I like that we can use a third party to get unbiased feedback on our product and services. The participants seem to be more honest with Clozd than they are to our internal teams.

**What do you dislike about Clozd?**

We have a hard time figuring out the best way and time to send our clients over to Clozd to get the most out of the interaction. It's taken our team a bit of time to get used to the process and be more open to external feedback.

Work on your internal teams to make sure that when the feedback comes in they are ready to act.

**What problems is Clozd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clozd has helped us get feedback from accounts that chose a competitor during the sales process or that have left us for one reason or another. We've gotten a lot of great insights about how we can improve our process and offereings to be more competitive for our future clients and prevent churn of our existing clients.

Clozd can have more robust filters e.g. more details about the customers

I've been using Clozd to review our customers' data, filtering them by parameters that matter to our business. Clozd saved us a ton of time by with their smart filter functionality.

**What do you like best about Clozd?**

My CSM is awesome! Great post sale experience. Super intuitive tool. I'm just getting into the report building capabilities, but it's awesome to create the slideware right out of the tool.

**What do you dislike about Clozd?**

Survey tool has some qwerks to it, the way certain things are hard coded, but they're fixing or have recently fixed. Product is very agile in applying feedback and enhancing current and deploying new features.

**Recommendations to others considering Clozd:**

Best tool on the market. Others have better communities, but you can use those thought leadership items for compete network and get a more user friendly tool that does all the same stuff and provides better post sale customer service, for less!

**What problems is Clozd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to using Clozd we had another vendor supporting our win loss interviews and insights distribution. Their team consistently struggled to secure interviews and the details they did get never made it to the team. Since implementing Clozd, we have scaled our program capturing customer/prospect/and rep surveys and interviews at nearly 20 per quarter and are able to enable our entire organization to self-serve on these insights with useful filters and even more useful strucutring of the data and customer/prospect quotes.

Proof of value was seen when our CEO started quoting Clozd insights on our all hands call and being able to navigate the system intuitively with just a 4 minute walkthrough I recorded for them!

**What do you like best about Clozd?**

They have tools to connect crm so grabbing "leads" for interviews is efficient. Not a terrible conversion rate either.

Resulting interviews are good, and have interesting distribution - the email function works well to drive exec interest in the reports they generate

They help us extend win-loss capabilities

**What do you dislike about Clozd?**

Personally I think DIY win loss is missing with clozd - any interviews you conduct outside the platform requires you manage a different data set elsewhere. Since we conduct many buyer interviews ourselves it's perhaps a challenge specific to us

We run our own interviews to get more depth and specifics from buyers

As a result we tend to not use the manual tagging capabilities in clozd

Interviews are expensive, so make sure the lead lists you share and deal criteria are tightly aligned to your program goals

Compare their interviews other others and you own to make sure you're getting the depth of insights that matter

It's more self serve for tagging and analysis so keep that in mind

Clozd provides a platform that is easy-to-use when analyzing prospect and customer details. This platform can be used by anyone across our organization to quickly find relevant details for analysis. Additionally, the search functionality is very helpful.

The reporting functionality is also useful for exporting data to different types of users.

**What do you dislike about Clozd?**

I can not share any specifics about details our team dislikes.

**Recommendations to others considering Clozd:**

I would highly recommend Clozd. Their customer success and account management teams are top tier in gathering the relevant insights, communicating feedback, and constantly augmenting the process and outputs. The platform is also a great way to bring together all relevant Win / Loss data.

Clozd helps our GTM and Product Teams better understand specifics for Wins and Losses globally. This includes direct feedback from prospects and customers on our sales process, technical differentiators, and competitive details.

I felt like customers were more honest talking to a 3rd party rather than us running the interviews.  I felt like we got to the real heart of win/loss decisions.

**What do you dislike about Clozd?**

Didn't really have any downsides.  I found the quality of the interviewers was really good.   This wasn't standard "templated interviews", they really knew how to probe and dig into responses from prospects and customers.

**Recommendations to others considering Clozd:**

If you aren't really sure why you are winning and more importantly losing deals, then I highly recommend Clozd.   Compared to brain-dead "Opportunity Lost" reports... there is no comparison.   Having a smart interviewer that can listen, adapt and probe... means you really do get to the real reasons behind the decisions.

**What problems is Clozd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to get a better understanding of why we were winning and losing some deals in our new business funnel, and also why some customers were churning.   The detailed Clozd interviews really gave us some insights on things we could work on to improve our sales process and also our account management function.

Thanks to Clozd, we are able to gather valuable feedback from customers that we may have otherwise missed. The team at Clozd is extremely helpful and responsive and always supportive no matter the size of our ask. Their platform is easy to use and I love that the pricing isn't based on users, so anyone in our company can see customer feedback.

Lack of success.  The overall success rate is low, but based on the nature of our business, we can't provide them with as many accounts as they would like in order to have a better response rate.

- salesforce and gong integration 
- The team is very open to feedback and has implemented several features we requested
- The dashboards and filtering make it easy to use
- recently they added the ability to add custom fields to the competitor pages giving us the ability to add our battlecards into clozd for one central repository.

I wish pricing weren't per interview. More data would give us a better picture but we have to be mindful of how many interviews we do.

Great enterprise tool. If you do not have a win/loss process in place you may benefit from starting internally before engaging with a 3rd party.

Clozd conducts win/loss interviews for our business and all the data is put in our clozd dashboard. We chose Clozd to replace our existing win/loss solution which was entirely manual. Because we already had a process in place it made the transition very easy.

Everyone I have interacted with at Clozd, including our account manager, have been wonderful. They've taken the time to understand our business needs and are very receptive to continuous changes as we adjust the scope of the program. The Clozd platform is also very intuitive to use and does not require any training for new users.

I haven't encountered any downsides to Clozd yet. I am excited to see how they continue to develop their product, provide new features, and set up new integrations with other insights tools.

As we are continually striving to improve and gain a better understanding of why we may have lost potential business partnerships, we engage Clozd to deeply understand our clients/prospects' perspectives regarding our sales process, product offering, and value proposition.

What I really love about the Clozd Platform is that despite the fact the Clozd Team delivered a great Executive summary at the end of the research this is not the end because through the platform we have been able to conduct other powerful analyses to deeply understand where we are to focus our efforts to bridge the gaps. Also, I love to have access to real-time data with an impressive level of detail that you can also download to a spreadsheet to share.

Sometimes is difficult to manage access permissions since there is no option for a role based setup

The precision in choosing the correct people to reach out to, and the quality of the responses received. Having done this myself in the past, I can say Clozd has done a much better job overall.

Not much to dislike, it's a great tool to put this type of win/loss analysis on auto-pilot.

**Recommendations to others considering Clozd:**

Don't sleep on the value of a win/loss analysis -- the objective interview process avoids opinion and only derives true facts. Those are elements of gold in your sales process and what adjustments may need to be made to yield better results. We're very big fans of Clozd here at FloQast.

We use Clozd to conduct win and loss analysis across a variety of our segments. Reps will seldom get true, honest responses as to why a deal lost whereas Clozd steps in, acts as an unbiased third party and walks through a detailed interview process with the client to know their reasoning as to purchase or not. The detail that we've received in these interviews is outstanding -- much of which we'll use during our enablement sessions and at kick-off to further educate our teams.

We rely on Clozd to conduct our ongoing Win/Loss interviews and, just recently, Win/Loss surveys. Clozd contacts our prospects following deal conclusion, schedules interviews, transcribes the conversation, provides incentives and thank yous to our prospects, and delivers the findings back to us promptly with further analysis that allows us to look across discussions at scale.

**What do you like best about Clozd?**

Clozd checks all the boxes to store, filter, analyze, and share Win/Loss findings at scale. Better yet, their team members are true consultative partners that have helped us up-level our Win/Loss program. Getting started with Clozd was a breeze thanks to the best practices they bring, and I've been impressed by the listening and lean-in I've seen as our needs and their platform evolve. Our Win/Loss program would not be nearly as successful or efficient without Clozd.

Clozd's win/loss surveys are good in theory, but we have stuggled to actually gather enough data points from them to prove useful for analysis.

We use Clozd to better understand our prospects/customers in the context of the market. What are their perceptions, how are they going about their evaluations, what is their POV on our business and others', how can we improve. Insights from Clozd have helped validate hypotheses on how we can improve our product, marketing, and go to market strategy.

Being able to filter & sort by specific decision drivers within wins & loss, to identify strengths & weaknesses of our solutions..

It is not necessarily a tool issue but more a data issue that Clozd looks at every feedback at the same face value. In the sense that some feedback may be incomplete / given on the fly / without so much care, compared to others. Clozd could do a "usability index" on the feedback and allow to minimize noise.

Clozd helps with identifying the key decision drivers for customers or prospects when they are choosing (or otherwise) our solution. This helps a lot in knowing what to build on the roadmap and what is most important for customers, especially what makes a customer pay for a solution.

The insights we week on why we are winning or losing isn't available from anyone else with the level of accuract and depth that Clozd provides.

**What do you dislike about Clozd?**

The intake form summaries are a lot to digest and could be cleaned up with a bettter executive summary before the full interview questions.

**Recommendations to others considering Clozd:**

If you don't have an objective and in depth account of why you are winning or losing, you are going to be hard pressed to find many higher priorities than closing that gap.

**What problems is Clozd solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Why do you think you are losing deals? You can ask your reps to submit that information in your CRM.

But why do your customers thinking you are losing? That is a very different question. You can't confidently answer it with AE inputs in the CRM.

Clozd provides that insight. And everyone in your company should want to know. Sales wants to know how to sell more. Product should be itching to get their hands on it. Marketing is going to spend a lot of money. Doing so without critical feedback is folly.

Our CSM is excellent, and the interface is clean and easy to follow. Lots of customisation and plenty of flexibility around how the project was approached

Nothing comes to mind. They delivered on everything that they had promised

Don't keep the feedback secret. We had 20+ users with access to everything, spanning sales, CS, Marketing and product

Clozd approached us to offer win/loss analysis services. We had been doing this in-house but struggled to obtain the depth of questioning and impartiality that they can offer. Amazing interface and Saas product underpinning the client interviews themselves.

Certain interviewers may miss the mark on asking the questions & getting down to the point we want to hear from a customer. This only happens during onboarding and interviewers improve significantly over time.

Be clear about what outcomes you want to achieve out of your program & what your current process for gathering win/loss information is and what you'd like to see it evolve to in the future.

Making it easy to keep track of win/loss interview findings in order to analyze trends over times, segment data to your choosing, and pull valuable customer feedback quotes to highlight points for specific stakeholders.

Finding the patterns in our close rate, hearing first hand from a prospect why they did or did not buy. We learn more from deals we lost and can change our tacticts and ICP to win more.

Clozd really has helped us understand what we are good at and what we are not, we are able to review information that prospects don't usually give to vendors, this helps us and the sellers do a better job.

**What do you like best about Clozd?**

What I like most of all is that it's very hands-off once we finalize the lists of customers we'd like to interview. Everything from the outreach to the customers to the publication of the interviews is handled by Clozd once we send over data from our CRM.
The platform is intuitive, easy-to-use, and we can add as many users as we want. You can filter data in different ways for a high-level snapshot or view more granular data, like loss reasons by competitor.
I also really like the integrations with Slack and Gong. The Slack integration automatically notifies stakeholders when interviews are published and the Gong integration provides transcripts to calls associated with the opportunity and one-click access to view the calls within Gong.
Lastly, I love the tagging functionality. We can highlight text and tag a person or tag it within a category for reference later and to provide visibility into certain topics that stakeholders care about.

**What do you dislike about Clozd?**

There is nothing I dislike about Clozd. When any minor issues have come up, they are extremely responsive and promptly resolved them. They also welcome any ideas from customers,  and they continue to innovate and launch new features on a continuous basis.

**Recommendations to others considering Clozd:**

If you're starting a new win/loss program or upgrading your current program, Clozd has been the ideal partner in delivering direct feedback from our prospects and customers instead of relying solely on CRM data. Buyers are indeed liars. Our CRM "win/loss" reasons are consistently very different and light in detail vs the rich, accurate, objective reports we receive via our Clozd program. It is an apples to solid gold oranges comparison. Clozd has an excellent methodology for developing a valuable win/loss interview, getting disengaged buyers to participate and presenting intelligence back in a very consumable platform.

I genuinely struggle to find a flaw in the offering from Clozd. I suppose it is a relatively expensive program but I stack that up against the insanity of running a SaaS business without a consistent win/loss program and the expense seems insignificant.

**Recommendations to others considering Clozd:**

Clozd will surprize you. I would recommend starting with a very small program...a small pilot of a handul of deal review interviews. Whatever a small sampling seems like at the scale of your business. Focus that on something you already believe to be true (eg, we are losing to XX competitor because their product does XX and we can't do that). I think you will find that upon reading the results of this pilot, you will get a very good sense for what to explore next as you scale and evolve the program to illuminate new areas. You will be surprized to learn why you win and why you lose, why customers churn.

The win/loss intelligence provided by our Clozd program solves some of the most painful, most common problems we're facing as a SaaS company. These are the problems our senior-most, most influential executives would traditionally have guessed at, followed hunches, acted on one or two particularly compelling data points. While it has highlighted tactical patterns in our sales process that have helped us improved processes and drive up win rates, I think the greatest value Clozd has delivered is insight into our pricing and packaging strategy. It has helped us illuminate gaps in the value/price equasion in a way we simply could not have understood on our own. All those "no decision", "it costs too much per user", "they ghosted me" deals are now plainly flavors of a mismatch between how we package/price and how those buyers wanted to buy. We review Clozd reports at the C-level and even board-level of our company and make material corrections based on the patterns Clozd exposes for us.
