File storage has never been easier since we started using cloudian storage because it uses object-storing technology for all the data storage and transfers from one place on the network to another. This is great because we have a very large amount of data and before that; we were unable to store them properly. I don't know why but I find that it does not support the speed with a large number of people working at the same time. The interface is very poor and quite complicated for the new users. While it stores files efficiently but, we cannot able to lock them for privacy. The interface is also very poor. Sharing files always need the permission of owners. Synchronization with other software is very complex. Auto-saving is very quick but always it needs internet access with good speed as well. I find Cloudian to be a great data storage server that provides access over my computer network. Sometimes I face the problem with synchronization of shared files through mobile and desktop app and re synchronization is then is in order. Some features and options of the UI make it less intuitive. The file cannot be shared to the third party unless permitted by the owner of the document. Though I find Cloudian to be of great advantage the price tag is definitely gold. Customization is quite limited in this version and the support response is just terrible. From functionality point features I like the most: 1. Great S3 compatibility, 2. Fantastic flexibility - I can use different storage policies on the same installation, for example Erasure Coding 5+3 fand Replica 3 (first is good for bigger files and backup customers and other is good for smaller files and high request load). This is efficient from economy and perfomance points of view; - I can use any HW vendor, so no HW vendor lock; - Can be different HW specification in the same DC, so it is easy to grow. 3. QoS management 4. Multitenancy. This and previous are important for us as cloud provider 5.
