Top Rated Cloudera Data Science Alternatives

Model management is easy, and collaboration with others in a notebook environment is fantastic. Another amazing thing is support from the Cloudera team on documentation and learning resources. Great partnership. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's very complex to customize and take advantage of all features. I believe this can be worked on and made more user-friendly. Sometimes it becomes very hard to debug the error. Not beginner friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only platform to analyze and process big data. It is useful for me for creating, channeling, and visualizing all types of structured and unstructured data. It is customizable and easy to use for anyone having little experience with cloud services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Having its competitors like Kaggle and google collab pro, they all offer some attractive packages compared to Cloudera. Still, Cloudera has its benefits that others don't have like managing big data clusters directly from the browser etc.
Another disadvantage is Installation is a little difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are doing a POC with Cloudera. From a technical implementation, upgrade, and administration of the platform is much easier than other technologies I have had to support. After our initial installation we have upgraded 3 times and the documentation provide almost brings you step by step and have not had any post upgrade issues. So far during our POC I do not have any glaring dislikes from a technical administration perspective. Maybe additional free online training and resources would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to use. Supports multiple languages and frameworks like R, python, scala, Apache Spark etc. It's quite easy to download libraries and supporting packages. One of the most important feature that I like is the availability of data from any storage - cloud, data warehouse Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am not particularly fond of the User Interface, but that's the only bad point that I could find. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Running collaborative notebooks on you Cloudera Hadoop cluster is a big boon to a data science team. Pairs well with a previous investment in Hadoop specifically from Cloudera. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish this would install to the cluster and run in a container on the cluster instead of requiring an external application server(s). Spark support was not as good as some of the other notebook solutions out there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
