It is easy to clock in and out and it integrates seamlessly with our payroll. The cost is reasonable and most of the time it works great! (We live in an area with little cell phone coverage, so there are times when the Shark misses clockouts --but it is usually something I can take care of and see on the back end.) --so not a program problem --more a connectivity problem. **What do you dislike about ClockShark?** I can't think of anything that is not helpful or that i dislike about Shark! (the only thing i would love is on the website view --if the dates could have a grid around them separating out the dates, that would make identifying the date a little easier for people who have many entries in a week --the way it is now, i have to scroll up and down to check the date --a border defined grid would solve the problem; that or have the dates freeze like you can in a spreadsheet if that's possible? **What problems is ClockShark solving and how is that benefiting you?** TLM is made so much easier --from clocking in and out to requesting PTO and even just checking to see where people are during the day. It all makes things much more seamless on the management end! ### 2. Overall, we really appreciate how easy the app makes it to clock in and clock out. That said, I’m not sure the reminders work as well as they could, because there have been several times when the crew forgets to clock out at night or clock back in after lunch. The ability to clean up the timesheets as we go along in the week, get reports on projects and/or employees. The ease of entering holiday time or vacation time. **What do you dislike about ClockShark?** One thing that could possibly be better is when reviewing/approving timesheets for one employee I have to back out and 'start' again to get to the next employee. Also, in the app I have found when it is 'break' time that I'll hit the button and the screen resets and I have to hit it again before it registers "break". That seems a little glitchy **What problems is ClockShark solving and how is that benefiting you?** Accuracy with timesheets, GPS tracking. It makes things easier. ### 3. I also appreciate the reports that can be generated for current and past employees, as well as project-specific reports. This is especially helpful when I’m responding to requests from State and Federal agencies. **What do you dislike about ClockShark?** Rounding up or rounding down, as well as strict exact timekeeping, doesn’t always accommodate certain laws about when an employee clocks in early to be “on-time.” In those cases, the company could be required to pay for the convenience of clocking in early, even if the employee waits to begin working until their scheduled start time. A hybrid approach—combining exact clock-in/clock-out with appropriate rounding rules—may help. **What problems is ClockShark solving and how is that benefiting you?** ClockShark exceeds our problem-solving needs in many areas, especially because the reports can be either very specific or more expansive, covering a broad span of history. ### 4. The mobile app makes it simple for field employees to clock in and out, while the administrative dashboard gives us real-time visibility into employee hours, job locations, and timesheets. The GPS tracking, seamless payroll export, and streamlined approval process have significantly reduced our administrative work and improved the accuracy of our payroll. Overall, ClockShark has made managing our workforce much more efficient, saving us time each pay period. **What do you dislike about ClockShark?** Overall, we've had a positive experience with ClockShark, but there are a few areas that could be improved. I would like to see more flexibility in reporting and the ability to create more customized reports without exporting data. The mobile app can occasionally be slow to sync in areas with poor cell service, which can be frustrating for field employees. It would also be helpful to have more advanced notifications options and greater customization for approvals and user permissions. While these issues aren't major, addressing them would make an already strong platform even better. **What problems is ClockShark solving and how is that benefiting you?** We eliminated paper timesheets and manual time entry, reducing payroll errors and saving time. GPS tracking improves accountability. It provides project labor visibility, streamlines timesheet approvals, and improves communication. ### 5. Saves a lot of time of manually entering time data. **What do you dislike about ClockShark?** The confirmation of clocking in or switching tasks is an extra step that isn't really needed. Many times some of my employees aren't clocked in because they just overlooked that last step. **What problems is ClockShark solving and how is that benefiting you?** Prior to Clockshark, each employee was hand written time on paper that was turned in weekly. Now, they have an app that takes 15 seconds for them to clock in/out. As admin, I can see their time on a specific job which helps with job costing. Then being able to export the time data into Quickbooks makes processing payroll a breeze. Saves me hours of manually entering data into QB. ### 6. I can clearly see when they arrive at the job site and when they leave, which helps me stay on top of their time in the field. **What do you dislike about ClockShark?** There are some communication issues. We have staff log off for the day, and there are times when the log off does not process correctly. The next day they show as working for 23-24 hours. We have the same issue with clocking in on some locations. **What problems is ClockShark solving and how is that benefiting you?** No problems to be solved right now. ### 10.
