**What do you like best about Clio Manage?**

I could not operate King Law Offices without Clio. We turned our entire operation over to Clio beginning in January 2019, and have not looked back. 

For me, Clio's best feature is the way I can see the entire operation of our firm, 55 attorneys across 20 locations, in one screen. I know the health of my firm, and can anticipate my next actions just by analyzing the information provided by Clio in one screen.

**What do you dislike about Clio Manage?**

Clio is a bit of a victim of our success. I would love an interactive display for non-attorney/non-billable members that focused on client acquisition and calendars. A project management side.

**What problems is Clio Manage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accounting issues - We send 5500 bills each WEEK, so it takes an automated system that cleanly directs bills to clients.

Human Resources -- With 55 attorneys and 120 total staff, I need to know who is getting things done and who is struggling out there. Clio makes that easy.

**What do you like best about Clio Manage?**

Good system of organizing the data. You guys keep improving periodically. The export matters report is good because you can manipulate the majority of the data there and identify information quickly.

**What do you dislike about Clio Manage?**

YOU NEED SOMETHING TO SHARE WITH COLLABORATORS. YOU WILL CHANGE THE GAME IF YOU FIGURE THIS OUT. YOU MAY BE UNDERESTIMATING HOW MUCH EVERY SINGLE VOLUME BASED LAW FIRM NEEDS THIS. Just need a simple way to send filtered data to collaborators such as vendors or referral sources that require status updates on client's cases because they have an interest on the outcome of the matter. Another BIG PROBLEM I see that I would love for you to fix is that you can not import data and affect existing data. For example, I am dealing with hundreds of files simultaneously. So I would love to be able to do more bulk actions. Ideally, i can downloand to excel, and then import changes backs into Clio. Another example, take 1000 files from a client, and the client tells me 175 of them now have a new status. I would like to note that in Clio in fast way. Currently, going one by one is too long. An excel import would be ideal.

**What problems is Clio Manage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great job invoicing. All works great and does what is expected like when editing the invoice. However, Clio would be really improved if you handled the multiple payments on contingency and flat fee cases better. When Clio has an outstanding A/R on a case, it makes it too difficult to make a new invoice reflecting only the new amount. (I am referring to the sumary of charges field from the billing template.)  I want to be able to track multiple contingency awards through the case. We also need a proper final closing statement form. The forms you have are only for regular invoicing by the hour. When a case is contingeny in Florida, you need to show the award amount and deducting the fee and expenses with a signature line for the client. Lastly, we need to be able to track vendor payables. Each contact card for a vendor should have a tab for that vendors outstanding invoices.

Clio is a one-stop shop for legal intake, case management, and billing. It's intuitive, easy to use, and has great customer support and integrations.

**What do you dislike about Clio Manage?**

The only downside is that better, more customizable, reporting options would be nice, but upgrades are always happening, so I'm sure it's just a matter of time.

Clio has streamlined our systems and I creaed efficiency and profitability for the firm.

Clio is best suited for lawyers who are familiar with cloud-based systems. There is no software you need to download or install locally — it is used through your browser.

Clio helps me to create reports that identify where and how I spend my time as a lawyer. This is useful as I try to become more targeted in my efforts, and gives me a monthly around-the-world on my work.

The automatic reminders. Able to add cleints in quickly, does a search when adding a new client to make sure no duplicates are entered.

Not able to compleate the task inside the task. Having multiple matters created when client fills out a form.

Our firm uses Clio to keep track of clients, and documents. Send Invoices from clio, as well as process payments.

**What do you like best about Clio Manage?**

Clio integrates well with essential applications without sacrificing client privacy.  I can edit my word documents and maintain version control in the app, sharing document changes and updates with my clients.  I can bill, and request clients enter billing methods in the matter. There are hundreds of integrations with signing tools and mailing that make doing my job as an attorney easier, and the administrative lift of managing a solo-law practice doable.

**What do you dislike about Clio Manage?**

The system is based on a clunky form system, it does not autosave as many web applications.  It may take sometime to get it updated. The lead management system and the matter management system are separate, have separate billing and do not talk to each other, the Grow application speaks one way to Matter, but matter cannot speak to Grow, and templates are better managed in Grow.  This makes data mining and prospecting for new business inside my client list much more difficult than if the systems spoke to each other.

Clio software stems allow me to manage leads, matters and billing for my law practice.  The system is easy to use making it easy to launch a new law practice, bill clients and complete the legal work.

**What do you like best about Clio Manage?**

Clio has allowed me to have a practice management system in place that allows me to address all aspects of my practice from client communication, docketing, billing, and document generation. This has allowed me to launch my own firm with a focus on client work as opposed to trying to manage all of these items which has increased both the quality of life and the legal work I do for my clients.

**What do you dislike about Clio Manage?**

Clio manages almost all of my practice but I do recommend for those that use it to strongly consider some of the partners clio has worked with. I specifically use Dial Pad for my phone system which integrates with Clio and Quickbooks for the accounting side.

**What problems is Clio Manage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have worked with many other software products in this area, most of which are substandard. Clio allows me to  work remotely when required, combined several other products into one, and there onboarding process and support have been patient when I needed assistance.  

The integration with Quickbooks has made the record keeping for my regulator much easier.

**What do you like best about Clio Manage?**

My favorite aspect of Clio is that I can keep all of my client contact information, files, time, and billing all in one place.  Clio especially makes it easy to invoice clients - on either a flat-fee or retainer basis - and provides an ethically compliant payment processor for attorneys to use.  Clio provides e-signing services, too, which makes client onboarding a breeze.  Clio also generates all sorts of reports to help balance your books and guage profitability.  Overall, Clio makes running my solo law firm exceptionally easy and streamlined.

**What do you dislike about Clio Manage?**

While I don't dislike much about Clio, there are a few aspects that could use improvement.  For instance, I wish you didn't have to upgrade your membership level to send additional documents for signing each month.  Some months are heavier than others, and it'd be nice to have the option to get more signed documents each month without having to upgrade your entire membership up a level.

**What problems is Clio Manage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem that Clio solves for me is time tracking and billing.  Clio has a great time tracking feature that captures all of your time spent on a particular matter.  Then, at the end of the month, Clio lets you easily generate a bill to issue the client OR pay the bill from the client's outstanding retainer.   I also love how easily it is for my clients to pay their bill online through Cio's online payment processing system.

Cleo comes out with new tools every year that replace all the other software systems that I need. Their support is great and we get every feature we want, even though we have to wait for some of them. The absolute most important software in our law firm.

I wish the tasks were handled a little bit differently, so we could spawn tasks from complete a tasks.

Clio is very user friendly.  Things seem to work intuitively.  The app works seamlessly, and that is a big plus.

**What do you dislike about Clio Manage?**

I wish there were more reports.  I also wish CLIO Drive operated more like Dropbox or OneDrive and was customizable.  Ideally, one could set up the drive by referral source, then by client, then by matter for that client.

Billing is much more streamlined than before.  We were already using practice management software, so CLIO was just a better version of that.  Our billing was a mess, and this software allows more people to get us through the porcess quicker.

Its so easy to use. I would recommend even to people who are not tech savvy. I love the lay out and its so easy to upload and search for your cases. Clio offers so many things that make your every day to day job easier. In my office we use Clio everyday. Its Web base or you can download the app.  Overall i would give Clio a 10/10 for my review, as i love it so much!

There is nothing i dislike about Clio. Its a great program.

I love that I'm able to create matters that have deadlines to keep us on task. I also greatly appreciate the ability to send invoices and keep track of time and bills from the dashboard. We have integrated Lawyaw which has proven to be invaluable. I highly recommend this program to any law firm.

The ability to accurately account for income  by lawyer can be a bit complicated.

The best part about Clio is the wide variety of integration partners that extend and expand the usability and utility of Clio. Integration partners can offer their expertise in their given area, and Clio can leverage that expertise to more effectively use Clio.

The only real downside is that the breadth and customizability of using integration partners makes it very difficult to switch providers. I know, it's not really a downside.

The open API that allows us to find solutions for pain points. We have been able to levarage partners to get some great efficiencies and smooth out unique issues to our firm.

**What do you dislike about Clio Manage?**

The DMS could be a little more robust and Clio Drive needs major improvement. It crashed and hasn't come back once we added our discovery documents.

Clio provides a streamlined way of effectively managing a client database, workflows, document automation and so much more. The platform is incredibly easy to use and cost effective.

Nothing. I have never run into any issues with the Clio platform or support.

**What do you like best about Clio Manage?**

Clio is an excellent tool to help your law firm organize all of your cases and to assign tasks, time and keep track of your associates and employees. I highly recommend Clio for all law firms, starting or established. With all of the add-ins that Clio offers, you can make it into whatever you would like. My favorite part of Clio is the easy billing, the text option, and the calendar being able to sync into Outlook.

**What do you dislike about Clio Manage?**

Clio can be overwhelming when first beginning. Training a new employee on how to navigate Clio takes quite a bit of time. I have been working in Clio for about six months now and still sometimes have to use the "help" button at the bottom right and speak with a Clio representative for help. However, the chat option is beneficial; the representatives are always very kind and explain what to do well.

**What problems is Clio Manage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clio has been adding free options to assist their users. They are constantly thinking of ways to improve their site, which is very helpful. They also send notifications on any updates they have made and attach the article for you to read.

**What do you like best about Clio Manage?**

Clio has really helped to streamline workflow and client intake at our firm. We are able to utilize Clio Grow to track leads through the entirety of the intake process and then seamlessly transition them into Clio Manage once they convert to clients. From there, we can assign matters to attorneys, track work, and collect payments. The whole system has helped our firm become more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Clio Manage?**

The only downside with Clio is that there are some missing features. For example, many of our firm's matters involve multiple clients, but currently, you can only name one client per matter. However, the development team at Clio always listens to our feedback and has successfully implemented improvements multiple times.

**What problems is Clio Manage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clio helps our firm track clients through the intake process, create calendar appointments and reminders, store important client information, track work in progress and case notes, and streamline workflow between multiple attorneys.

**What do you like best about Clio Manage?**

I appreciate the fact that Clio is continuously getting feedback from users and making improvements to the software. I have been able to reduce my credit card transaction fees by using Clio. I also am excited to try the new "Stages" feature that Clio introduced recently. Being able to track and streamline the stages our matters are in will greatly help with efficiency within my firm.

**What do you dislike about Clio Manage?**

I would like to see Clio move to combine Clio Grow and Clio Manage into one login. I think that the initial documents (intake forms & fee agreements) could be incorporated into Clio Manage. That would also help cut some of the cost by eliminating the need to subscribe to both Clio Grow and Clio Manage.

Clio introduced "Stages" to help improve efficiency and tracking with our matters.

Full feature set at a fixed monthly cost.  Flexibility in upgrades and no long term contract committment.

I wish it had more robust report writing features (or maybe they do and I just need to study a little more.)

I am a solo law-firm and clio improves my ability to be responsive to cllient needs in a timely and cost effective manner.  Its worth the price just for the billing capabilities but I use it for calendaring, secure client communications and document automation, and much much more.

Clio is still too static in its implimentation. Law practice is changing, and our resources need to be maleable to fit our style. To its credit, Clio is always evolving.

I can organize the calendar for my lawyers so that they can quickly and easily check for availability and hotspots. Documents and tasks are accessible on the go!

**What do you dislike about Clio Manage?**

We often have to provide demographic data to the Law Society. I'd like to be able to choose from a drop-down to run reports that identify the type of criminal matters (sexual assault, assault, domestic violence, drug, impaired). I'd also like to be able to choose from a drop-down to run reports that collect data on the type of client (youth, Indigenous, English Second Language, etc). This would be extremely helpful for me.

**What problems is Clio Manage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization, accurate calendaring, efficiency, moving and storing documents, paperless, noting files on the go, evening and weekend phone meetings, out-of-town appearances, client contact information is always up to date, etc.

I love that Clio takes a "one-stop shop" approach by providing many product features. I am a solo practitioner, and I need one product to address all my needs. I have heard others complain about the pricing, and I must say that Clio is worth every penny for its products.

My only complaint is that Clio Grow and Clio Manager are offered as separate products, which means a different login to each product and having to complete additional tasks when onboarding a client. I believe Clio will deliver a platform that merges Grow and Manager soon, so I will wait until it happens.

Clio solves time management, payment collection, intake, and case management issues. I have saved so much time by automating my intake process. Clio workflows address handling the initial client call up to managing a client who has retained my office.

**What do you like best about Clio Manage?**

Clio's coincidence with One Drive makes it much simpler to have access to a book when working from home, at a client's premises or in another remote area. Makes it possible for us to observe the actions of each and everyone in the company. Useful in researching how part of it was modified or added/removed. At this moment, besides having a firm foundation, my issue has become more helpful and has a greater dynamism. All employees have access to the contact information database anytime, anywhere. It is possible to determine immediately if there are problems, even when we are off-site. We have the to-do lists, it is possible to assign tasks, send an email and receive a notification when a task is completed. In addition, we control the agenda per day so that we can quickly see what everyone is working on.

**What do you dislike about Clio Manage?**

We have been struggling with the inability to stop the synchronization of documents since the start of the upgrade, we would like you to resolve this and regain the confidence we once had. The papers are still there, just need more control and patient for concertation. I would love to be able to find a simple way to generate a payment voucher without flat rate descriptions. I love the ability to be able to create cascading work lists, I just wish it could be done backwards and created by working from an end data instead of working from a start data.

Clio is used throughout the institution. We have several home-based workers and most of the other lawyers and people who work in one of our other offices or at clients' offices, Clio gives us access to all that is needed quickly, easily and through the clients.

I like it that you can change the information about the client without too much trouble. If we need to add someone else, or remove someone from the file, we can do so pretty easily.

Sometimes when trying to do billing it feels like there are too many steps to edit a bill. Once you edit it on the activity tab, it would be nice if it stayed that way, and that you didn't have to edit it agin if you leave that page.

It keeps track of clients that call and we start a matter for them, and the ones that never come back. That way we don't have a file number if they don't end up retaining us in the end, so our file numbers don't go up.

I like that when I put something on Outlook or Clio calendars it syncs to the other.  I like that when I need to set up a new file, I can go to another file where most of the information is the same and duplicate it and then change only the things I need to change for the new file.  I like that I can see everyone's calendar at one place.

I'm still working on this one!  At first, I had complaints but after using it a few months, I don't really have any complaints or dislike anything that it does.  I do wish I had time to learn some of the other things it does and start incorporating those into my daily work life.

I don't bill but it has been easier for other staff to get their time in and that helps us all!  I use it for calendaring and contacts mostly but it has so many things I have yet to learn!

I like that there are always new features being added, and new programs that integrate within Clio. If I need help figuring somethign out, there are plenty of tutorials and help articles. Even better, the chat feature is always responsive and helpful.

Setting up billing was pretty cumbersome, and I don't find the settings in bill formatting to be intuitive at all. Once you get things set up the way you like, however, it's usually never an issue again unless you need to set up a new type of invoice.

time keeping feature is what I use Clio most, and now that I've added the Clio plugin to my email inbox, I can file and bill for time with a few clicks.

For a price lower than a billable hour, you have a great platform to manage all your files.  There are good integration features between Clio and Gmail to make saving emails to specific files easy.  There is also integration between Clio and certain mailing companies like CaseMail that simplify sending out correspondence to clients.  I've found these and other integrations to be very helpful as a Solo Practitioner

The only negative that I can think of is one incident.  I sent a request to find out more information about a Clio sourced Website via Clio's support email and didn't get a response.

I wish that Clio offered better document automation integrations. There are a few more reports that I would like to see Clio add for long-picture planning. we use Clio payments and there is room for improvement on that software as well.

The system carmentalizes too many systems limit quick movement between the system. Ie getting to cliem portal requires multiple links rather then jump from dashbord
