As a project manager, what I like most about ClickUp is being able to see project progress, ownership, and deadlines clearly in one place. My main frustration is that threaded replies do not automatically notify all task assignees and followers. Important updates can be missed unless people are tagged manually or a workaround is set up. This creates extra follow-up work and makes it harder to ensure everyone responsible has seen decisions and blockers. As a UI/UX Designer, the first thing that stood out to me about ClickUp was the user interface. It's clean, modern, and surprisingly easy to navigate considering how feature rich the platform is. Many productivity tools become overwhelming because they try to do too much, but ClickUp does a great job of organizing everything in a way that feels intuitive. Performance has also been solid. Even while managing multiple spaces, documents, and tasks, the platform remains responsive and reliable. From a value perspective, ClickUp offers a lot in one platform. Instead of paying for separate tools for task management, documentation, collaboration, and AI assistance, having everything in one place has simplified my workflow and saved both time and effort.

Overall, I've had a really positive experience with ClickUp, but if I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be performance as workspaces become larger and more complex. While day-to-day usage is smooth, I've occasionally noticed slight delays when navigating larger projects or switching between views. I think optimizing speed and responsiveness would make an already great product even better.

The best part about ClickUp, it's very open-ended, highly customizable to suit almost every organization's needs. Great integrations. I had tried a number of other tools like Trello and used a free version for over a year before finally getting a paid subscription, and it was all worth it. The UI over time has been very refined, performance is fast, and if you're stuck with any feature or require help, the support system is very robust. Nothing really except for a little problem that keeps some of my users signing out without a reason. A downside is once you get habitual of the software, it's very difficult to go back. The best thing about ClickUp is its front-end interface as well as how it has multiple project management tools integrated into a single suite. Even on the desktop version, it doesn't consume too much processing and hence doesn't interfere with the performance of the tasks and the machine. Though pricing may look a bit on the higher competitive side, however, the features, UI, support everything makes it worth implementing it throughout requirements. Recent addition of AI features has helped in extracting helpful insights with just a few clicks and commands, however, definitely there's a good way to go forward. The only couple of things I have disliked about this good software is the slowness in implementation of suggestions, and yet my open issue with them regarding timesheet approval feature which is split across the registered organization rather than user based; and the second one being role assignment of various users and shifting them to unbilled <> billed users. What I like best about ClickUp is that it adapts to the way we work, not the other way around. Before, we used Adobe Workfront, which wasn’t a good fit for our team: we had to adapt to the tool, and it slowed us down. With ClickUp, it’s the opposite. I designed our workspace from scratch (spaces, lists, workflows) and shaped it exactly around our web projects, from the brief to the launch.

I’ve also built several automations, and we’re saving more and more time on outdated processes that used to be manual and repetitive.
