What do you like best about ClickHouse?

Perfom and huge arsenal of Engines that helps you ingest and process data at scale.

What do you dislike about ClickHouse?

Stability and predictability. Clickhouse despite it's huge advantages sometimes doesn't provide you with the stability and behaviour needed for a production system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering ClickHouse:

The documents are sometimes outdated and there isn't a huge community support out there. For a production system that needs absolute reliance, I won't recomend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickHouse?

Clickhouse is easy to use as compare to other distributed DBMS. It provides SQL-like functionality. Its multi-master architecture is also a plus point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickHouse?

There is no such point. The main point is there are some feature still in development and lots of frequent update thet we have to keep an eye on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickHouse solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have to store bulk data into clickhouse, which I stored earlier in HBase. Clickhouse provides faster read operation as compare to HBase. Also, the number of machines clickhouse requires is far less than HBase for same amount of reading and fetch operation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Blazing fast Clickhouse"

What do you like best about ClickHouse?

Clickhouse is a super fast database system (insert and select data) and it's even free.

Github community is also very active. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickHouse?

The downside of clickhouse when you come from traditional DB system like sql or oracle is the way you need to handle updates and deletes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The downside is that the record is immutable so not work well with some kinds of records other than logs. It was a bit tricky to setup cluster too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
