What do you like best about Classroomscreen?

I like how easy it is to use and all the options that I can quickly pull up like the randomizer fo discussions, the timer for work time, the schedule so kids can see the plan for the day and so much more.

I really like the sound level option, it helps my students regulate their noise.

I use the randomizer for my classes everyday to make sure each student is called on. I also use the timer for assignments to keep both me and the kids on track.

I also really just like the asthetics of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Classroomscreen?

It's a little tricky sometimes that classrom screen is online vs using google slides which I can still use offline.

The name randomizer needs a little tweaking with size, the box the name is in is too big compared to the name inside. It takes up too much room!

The text size feature is a bit of a mess as well. When it's open, it covers a lot and it's hard to select. It's also hard to click and type in your own text size number. I also find it difficult to select text at all and size it.

More stickers and background options would be great. Maybe some science themed ones?

It could also use a snap to position option to line up all the widgets. Maybe one that users could turn on and off if they want more free style layouts.

It does feel a little expensive for what it is, but if tweaks and changes by developers after user feedback are followed through with then it would definitely be worth it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Classroomscreen?

The ability to save my frequently used tools that I could use other applications in my classroom tool box for but the fact I can have them all in one easy to use place is amazing. Even my students love it and avidly ask to be the one running the board now. It is so simple to use they are all experts now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Classroomscreen?

There is no quick way to clear data from widgets on the screen such as the noise alarm or randomizer if those didn't take that slightly extra time to clear I would be so thankful. Also the ability to save the randomizers students that have already been picked as seperate lists if I have 2 or 4 seperate ones on a screen. Breaking up who has already done our number corner, library basket, and picked a brain break all at once would make my life easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Classroomscreen?

I have used the free version of ClassroomScreen for a while now but not to its full extent. I recently decided to purchase the teacher subscription and am now setting up for next year with my daily check in screen, my center rotation, and my weekly lesson plans. I am loving this service! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Classroomscreen?

I would like to share my screens publically or with fellow teachers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Classroomscreen?

I love the timing tools that classroomscreen provides. I find that using the agenda and timers helps me stay on track with my lesson plans and helps my students stay focused because they know what's coming next! I have started using classroom screen every day. I found it easy to integrate into my existing routines because it shares some similarities with a program like google slides, but is far more functional for teaching! What do you dislike about Classroomscreen?

Some widgets are occasionally glitchy (the webcam especially). It is annoying to have it malfunction during class. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Classroomscreen?

I like that you can use Classroomscreen for free, forever -- it just doesn't save your screens as a free user. I am a teacher and I have used Classroomscreen as a free user for YEARS. The only reason I became a paying user is because I found myself using the same setup every day, and I wanted to save myself some prep time every day. For under $30/year, that's a great deal for me! What do you dislike about Classroomscreen?

The free version of Classroomscreen does not allow you to save screens (i.e. your own personal setup). That was the main reason I chose to become a paying member. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Classroomscreen?

Classroomscreen is super user-friendly and reusable each day. I used the timer, text boxes, and random name generator on various screens every day this school year. I especially liked that I could put my own images in the background and easily remove backgrounds from textboxes to make the picture easier to read and more professional looking. It kept my class on track and organized! Could not have survived this school year without it. I'm going to continue using Classroomscreen for my whole teaching career. What do you dislike about Classroomscreen?

My only issue with it was how the text boxes were formatted. Sometimes I would hit "return" to make a new line, and the font size would randomly shrink, and I would have to select the line of text and re-click the font size I wanted. I got around it quickly, though, and could keep using the text boxes for daily announcements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Classroomscreen?

I use this tool with high schoolers as the screen they see when they walk in every day. I previously used powerpoint or slides to manually change what I needed each day. With a calendar widget and the paid feature of saving all of my various screens, I have significantly reduced my prep time. I love all of the widgets, like the name generator and timer. The spotlight feature allows me to put in focus whichever I need in the moment, such as a text box for the morning's "Do Now", or the timer during small groups. Lastly, being able to customize not only the background (preloaded or upload your own!) I can also change the colors within each widget with hundreds of options. I have highly recommended Classroomscreen to my colleagues interested in easy classroom tech, and I even showcased it during a 'technology in the classroom' professional development session I taught to my district. Worth every last (very affordable for the annual plan!) penny. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Classroomscreen?

There is really only one thing I feel missing from Classroomscreen; I would love to have a feature that allows me to show the screen in a specialized smaller window over whatever else I need on my computer screen while teaching in class. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Classroomscreen?

I use ClassroomScreen daily to set the tone for my middle school science class. When students enter the classroom, there is a picture or GIF on the screen for them to notice, observe, and wonder about in their nature notebooks. I set a 5-minute timer through ClassroomScreen as well, which gives them a chance to complete their Do Now, use the restroom, pop back to their lockers, etc. before we go over the Do Now as a class. I also love the random student selector when everyone is excited to present in front of the class. I always give the student the option to present then or wait, so they are not cold-called. So many great features! This has really helped get my pandemic-affected students classroom-ready and improved classroom behavior in a structured yet gentle way. Thank you so much! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Classroomscreen?

I make a screen for every class, so it's a lot of storage! I always drag the new screen up to the top of the subject section, but I wish it just saved with the most recent/new screens at the top of the section instead of the bottom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Classroomscreen?

I could go on and on about my love for classroom screen. Last summer I decided to purchase a subscription, and not a day went by where I regretted it. I used classroom screen everyday. With the purchase I was able to save my screens and edit them from different devices which saved me so many times throughout the year. The variety of widgets allowed me add or embed nearly everything I needed for my entire day. I would make own backgrounds and upload them. I loved how I was able to have up to 50 of my own personal backgrounds made. I just loved all of the features and am excited to continue using classroom screen! What do you dislike about Classroomscreen?

Honestly there wasn't anything I didn't like about classroom screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Classroomscreen?

I have loved being able to have my students view many different things on one image as they have independent work time. Clocks, dates, words, and images! Better than any other slide program since I can even use a document camera for short examples without leaving my desk! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Classroomscreen?

I wish the size of text wasn't limited to a handful of sizing options. I also wish that the doc camera feature had the ability to zoom in a bit closer because it's not always big enough for my students in the back to see. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
