Clarifai's image and video recognition capabilities are incredibly powerful and accurate. Its ability to identify objects, faces, and even emotions in images is unmatched, making it a fantastic tool for AI-driven projects. The API is flexible and easy to integrate into various applications, and the platform supports a wide variety of use cases—from visual search to content moderation. The pre-trained models save a lot of time, and the option to train custom models adds great value for specific business needs. Additionally, the platform is highly scalable, making it ideal for both small and enterprise-level projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Clarifai offers excellent features, the learning curve can be steep for beginners. The documentation, although comprehensive, could be a bit more beginner-friendly. Navigating through the platform's user interface can sometimes feel unintuitive, especially for new users. Also, pricing can be a concern for startups or smaller companies—costs can ramp up quickly if you're processing large volumes of data, making it harder for budget-conscious teams to fully leverage its potential. Clarifai offers some of the most prebuild (OOTB) models for many application scenarios, which provide accurate and fast tagging results.
The creation of own models to recognize special requirements, on the other hand, is easily possible through an intuitive UI and can be learned by anyone
The models, also combined with workflows, can be very easily integrated and used in our Online Media Net (OMN) application so that computer vision can frequently be used with high amount of images directly from our application
We also have good experience with performance and customer support Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
in general we are very satified with the service itself
What we would still like to see / miss in the UI is a general management (creation, modification, deletion) of taxonomies in different languages, also allowing to work special characters like Spaces
For example, a use case is to be realized in which the engine returns the tags in several languages (localizations) at the same time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Clarifai's advanced AI models for picture identification, scene description, and text extraction are extremely accurate and efficient. Its user-friendly interface and extensive instructions make it simple to implement for developers, including those with no AI experience. Its easy interaction with a variety of programming languages and tools makes it suitable for a wide range of projects, including accessibility apps and advanced AI solutions. I personal used in many projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While the API has many features, the cost may be prohibitively expensive for small-scale developers, Student Developers or non-profits with limited resources. Furthermore, response times change during periods of high usage, which may have an impact on real-time applications. A larger selection of pre-trained models and offline support would further improve the platform. Consider plannings for Students also. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best part about Clarifai is that it lets us leverage models that have already been trained by other developers, including Anthropic and OpenAI. Since it closely corresponds to the requirements of our project, I've used it more. It is quite simple to use; in our situation, I uploaded pictures of wounds and told it to identify the type and color of the wound. I discovered that its accuracy was about 60%. By training the models with a lot of data, their accuracy can be raised. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Clarifai impresses with its cutting-edge AI capabilities, particularly in image and video recognition. The platform offers a broad range of pre-trained models that can be quickly implemented, saving valuable development time. Its customization options, such as training models on user-specific datasets, allow businesses to tailor the AI to their unique needs. Additionally, the user interface is intuitive and well-suited for both beginners and experienced users, making it easy to explore its features and functionality. Despite its strengths, Clarifai does come with some challenges. The pricing structure can be prohibitive for small businesses or individual developers, as it feels more aligned with enterprise-level budgets. Furthermore, while the platform offers extensive features, the documentation can sometimes lack depth, leaving users searching for external resources or support. The transitioning to paid plans can be challenging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Clarifai's accuracy, simplicity, and powerful pre-trained models that save time and simplify image analysis are my favorite features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The cost of Clarifai for small projects and the need for advanced knowledge for custom models are things I dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Clarifai platform is pretty intuitive to utilize and has many models to choose from. It has some of the most cutting-edge models from Open AI and similar organizations. The number of model permutations you can configure and the vast array of the feature sets are pretty cool.
In terms of model tuning and performance, that is pretty straightforward. Also, the capability to run the models with minimum effort in a chained workflow has been pretty useful, especially for internal use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The pricing model could be a better offering for when you are getting started with the free tier. Additionally, it could be good to have the training library beefed up even further - as the use cases and models are relatively new - it would be good to have walkthroughs of how to implement models end-to-end for different model types. The you tube channel has bene helpful in this regard but could be structured further. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
