What do you like best about GeoHECRAS?

The user interface is very intuitive and I felt like after the initial tutorial that was provided, it only took a couple of additional projects on my own to have the general project set up and "getting started" tasks down to a very quick and easy thing to do. One additional thing that I really like about the program is the support that Civil Geo offers with its products when a person has questions or any issues. It means a lot to the end user to be able to contact knowledgable folks that can give you answers, help, or whatever you need in regards to the product in a simple and effective manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GeoHECRAS?

I can't honestly say that I "dislike" anything. It would be great if there was a way to create a editable hydraulic report that a person could tailor the look to their own liking for a deliverable to clients, but I feel that's maybe outside the scope of the program, anyways. If there was a way to have more table customization and have some preset nice looking table templates that one could use in their hydraulic reports for display, that would be very helpful. Right now, it seems that we are stuck to the regular HEC RAS printouts, which definitely tell all the information that we need, they just don't look as nice as something that you can create in excel or other. Again, maybe outside the scope or intention of this product, anyways. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GeoHECRAS solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is assisting me in thorough hydraulic investigations for various county creek crossings, drainage area analysis, and in some cases municiple drainage work, as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GeoHECHMS?

I find the automated subbasin delineation, reaches, land use, curve number, and time of concentration very helpful. And the automatic report builder with the hydrograph plots makes it easy to see a graphical comparison of pre vs. post development. Further, CivilGeo customer support is excellent, they have an option to remote in and complete any task that you ask. I'm very impressed with their Customer support. I appreciate how good the user interface is. The commands are well organized to where I don't spend a lot of time finding the right command to complete a task.
