User Frendly, easy to use with clear and simple steps to creat your model, very good customer support that can handle any issue you have instantly, features that you have to import and export your model to HEC-RAS and CAD software, excelent graphics when changing from 2D to 3D view.

I would like to see more options for Profiles; hovering around the graph and seeing the spot on the map would be very useful. Currently have to use a workaround in the terrain option. I guess more stats options and interactivity would be handy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am using GeoHECRAS software for modeling the floodplain. The software provides a user-friendly environment and has an excellent capacity for integration with other software. The editing and GIS tool capabilities of this software are incomparable with other software in the hydraulic modeling field.

It is EXTREMELY user friendly and makes adjusting and creating models insanely easy to use. It makes it easy to insert digital elevation models to cut sections, extend move, and add new sections and reaches. Everything about it is great and easy to use. Almost nothing. Sometimes is has errors with saving or delineating flood extents but when comparing the opsitives the negatives are almost obsolete. I will say everytime I encounter an issue I call customer service and they help mw resolve the issue extrememly quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The software is much easier to work with than previous ACOE editions. The underlying programming is still the same but the compatibility with CAD makes creating the models in REAL SPACE much simpler and easy to go back and forth between CAD and HECRAS which made my life a lot easier.

Best of all though is the customer service. I called for help on one of my projects and literally just set up a teams meeting right then and there to share my scree. It was wonderful being able to work with the engineers who actually created the programming to help solve my issues. The great visual representation of your model compared to what you see in the original Hecras version. Easy to see modifications you make to the model. The ability to have an AutoCAD drawing inserted on a layer is very handy as all the line work from AutoCAD is right there and usable to generate your model. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Still learning but getting all the coordinate systems the same and line up has been a little difficult at first. Some more result output options could be better as this program still uses the original Hecras cross section, profile, and table results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

GeoHECHMS provides a wide range of useful tools for gathering DEMs, soil, landuse and FEMA data. Organized in a easy-to-use architecture. It also allows for working with data across multiple platforms (DWG, Tiff, Shapefile, etc) all in one tool. In addition to the effeciency that this affords, the tools themselves work quickly. Overall, this provides a rather noticable timesavings when developing H&H models, whether the hydroloy data you are creating is to be used within HEC-HMS or other modeling platforms. I have found this software to be exceptionally user-friendly and powerful. The intuitive interface, coupled with the comprehensive online training videos, makes it effortless to navigate and complete studies. The seamless integration with platforms like ArcGIS Pro and Civil 3D allows for efficient data import and manipulation, significantly reducing tedious processes and ultimately saving both time and money.

The technical support team is outstanding. After completing a model, one of their support members thoroughly reviewed it with me, pointing out and explaining more efficient modeling techniques.
