This program significantly reduces time it takes to create proposed conditions models as it allows extraction from 3D TINN design surfaces directly. It also makes viewing GIS, HEC-RAS, and Civil3D files all together easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I believe that the price for the software is fairly high and some features can now be done in the free Ras-Mapper feature of HEC-RAS Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Software provides infite amount of function to use for visual display for clients and illustration. The support system is available 24/7 and always available to help when in needed and in a crunch. What I find the most useful about GeoHECRAS in comparison with basic HEC-RAS is that I can complete floodplain studies without additional CAD support and without needing to be an expert in GIS data manipulation.
