It seemed to work well at first, but then it just kept crashing so I can't really say anything good about it. **What do you dislike about Cisdem DVD Burner?** I purchased Cisdem DVD Burner expecting a reliable, professional tool for DVD and ISO creation on macOS. Unfortunately, my experience was overwhelmingly negative, and I cannot recommend this software. Major stability problems From the start, the software was extremely unstable. It crashed repeatedly during normal use, including: • Opening previously saved projects • Adding certain media formats (notably M2V files) • Attempting to burn ISO files In some cases, the software would work briefly and then begin crashing again with the same project and same files, making it completely unreliable for real production work. At least one ISO file would not burn at all, blocking delivery of time‑sensitive work. Inconsistent and unpredictable behavior One of the most frustrating aspects was the inconsistency. After recreating a project from scratch, the software did manage to burn ISO files using MP4 sources — but only temporarily. The very next day, similar workflows caused repeated crashes again. This kind of behavior makes it impossible to trust the software in a professional environment. These problems occurred on a Mac Studio M3 Ultra running a current version of macOS. This was not an outdated or unsupported system, yet the application still crashed frequently with detailed crash logs pointing to segmentation faults. Significant time loss The crashes wasted hours of work and caused serious workflow disruption while I was trying to meet deadlines. I explicitly communicated the urgency, but the turnaround from support was slow and mostly focused on requesting logs rather than offering solutions. Billing and auto‑renewal issues After receiving a refund due to these failures, I was shocked to see the product auto‑renew and charge my card again a year later, despite my clear dissatisfaction and prior refund. I had to demand cancellation and another refund. The support team is responsive, and they deal with problems professionally.
